Honma has quickly become NJPW’s ultimate underdog after being slotted into this year’s G1 Climax as a late substitute.
His never say die performances and the fact that he couldn’t pick up a win in the tournament made the NJPW crowd gravitate towards him.
Honma-mania ran wild and he backed it up with his incredible G1 performances which were some of the finest in the greatest G1 Climax ever.
Honma likes to use his Kokeshi headbutt, a brainbuster and watch out for his Honma Clutch pinning combination.
