The streaming #RAWlternative event on Youtube Monday brought in about 12,000 unique viewers. That is pretty awesome.

The Young Bucks are working for Combat Zone Wrestling on 2/21 when CZW returns to Voorhees, NJ at the Flyers Skate Zone, challenging Tag Team champions Ohio is 4 Killers, Jake & Dave Crist. The Crists beat TNA’s Wolves at the Cage of Death in December. The original plan for that show was The Bucks, so CZW is getting to do the bout now. The show will be a live iPPV at www.StreamCZW.com and will be headlined by CZW champion BLK Jeez vs. Chris Dickinson. Stockade from NYWC is now in here and will be facing Matt Tremont on 3/21. Good to see Stockade starting to get some notice outside of Long Island as he’s always been a good brawler. CZW is running their next “Dojo Wars” event on 1/28.

Luke Hawx’s Wildkat Sports Entertainment has their first-ever double-shot this weekend, running tonight in Metairie, Louisiana at J.D. Meisler Middle School and Saturday 1/24, debuting in Pearl River, Louisiana at Pearl River High School. Bestia 666 and Rey Horus (the former Hijo del Rey Misterio Jr.) are in for both shots and will be wrestling each other on the first night. Hawx and will be working. The weekend is themed around Wildkat Wrestling vs. Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion with Booker scheduled to appear.

A pretty loaded tournament is set for tonight in Mesa, Arizona as The International Wrestling Federation will crown their first champion at the Arizona Event Center. The tournament’s first round will feature Matt Sydal vs. Uhaa Nation, Drew Galloway vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Biff Busick vs. Brian Cage and Chris Hero vs. ACH. Non-tournament bouts feature Trevor Lee vs. Matt Cage vs. Shane Strickland (first time I’ve seen him working outside the Northeast and well deserved), The Young Bucks vs. Rich Swann & AR Fox and Shaun Ricker (seen in The Rock’s reality series “The Hero”) vs. Joey Ryan.

The Midnight Rider lives! OK, well, if not the Rider, then at least Mr. Oui does! As I suspected, Mr. Oui was indeed long-time East Coast Wrestling Association stalwart Mr. Ooh La La, who lost a retirement bout last month, returning under a mask. So, the story is that all the villains know it’s Ooh La La but can’t prove it. I love it. The show, in Woodbury, NJ on 1/17, was headlined by Matt Saigon defeating ECWA champion Ricky Martinez by DQ when Martinez used his manager Renee Michelle’s high-heeled shoe as a weapon. Michelle worked the undercard, going to a draw against Candy Cartwright. ECWA Ladies champion Tessa Blanchard (Tully’s daughter) is working the promotion’s 2/21 return against both. Former ECW and Tri-State Wrestling Alliance ring announcer Bob Artese is the announcer here while the referees are John Finnegan and Mike Kehner, who does double duty here also wrestling under a mask as Kid USA. USA won the opener, beating Chris Rockwell. The 2/21 event features the “official” in-ring debut of Mr. Oui.

Greg Price, who runs the Mid-Atlantic Legends Fanfest, will be debuting a new promotion, Championship Wrestling: Live From Myrtle Beach running regularly at the Myrtle Beach Sportatorium in South Carolina with the first card on 3/7 featuring Los Ben Dejos, Cruz and Rios vs. The Bravado Brothers, Harlem and Lancelot. That should be a great tag match. Corey Hollis vs. Chase Owens, Jaxson James vs. "The Southern Savior" John Skyler with Mickey Gambino, Josh Cutshall, Kameron Kade and Tully Blanchard’s daughter, Tessa are also scheduled. They have already announced dates for 4/4 and 5/2 as well. For more, visit www.LivefromMyrtleBeach.com.
