Jay White w/Juice Robinson vs "Hangman" Adam Page

At this point, what is the big difference between Page and Jon Moxley, other than Mox has the Death Riders?  Page is just out to attack people and hurt them, and seems to have no other motivation.

After they start up, White goes for Page’s knee and then Page goes after White’s ankle. Page gets distracted yelling at the ref, allowing White to fire back. White is selling the leg, so he will be fighting from underneath for the rest of the match.

The match becomes a back and forth fight with each of them trying to just beat down the other. Nothing fancy, just meat and potatoes fighting. Each keeps going back to the leg, trying to completely take it out for the win. They brawl on the floor as well, and it’s a clinic on how to work a body part.

One of the things I hate is when people have a blood feud and then get in the ring and have a wrestling match. This is how you should have a match when you’ve built a serious revenge feud. Both men are making it seem like they want to just injure the other and winning the match is secondary.

They get back in the ring and White is playing defense against the buckshot lariat, trying to work in big moves when they are away from the apron. They keep going back to working the leg on each other, not staying away from it for long. Fantastic sequence at the end when Page goes for a Buckshot, White blocks it and they reverse on each other a few times before White gets the Blade Runner for the pin and the win.

Winner: Jay White

This was a great match, start to finish. Told a great story, worked well, and kept me riveted the entire time.  THIS is the kind of wrestling I like.

After the match, Page charges after White and attacks him. Christopher Daniels comes out to stop it and Page attacks Daniels as well.

Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher

The video packages they are showing to explain the reason for the matches tonight have been excellent.

Don Callis joins commentary.

They start by charging at each other and throwing hands. We get a big shoulder tackle showing that Fletcher is stronger than Ospreay, and Ospreay will have to use something other than brute strength if he wants to win. Ospreay takes over on the floor and Fletcher turns the tables in the ring.

Fletcher then goes to work, trying to break down Ospreay and make it so he can’t do his fast-paced style and high-flying moves by just beating him down. Ospreay tries for his handspring off the ropes attack, but his shoulder gives out, allowing Fletcher to take back over. The story is Fletcher slowly beating down Ospreay and Ospreay is trying to get space to recover.

Ospreay is able to get a sky twitter from the top turnbuckle to the floor on Fletcher after he dodges an attack from Fletcher in the corner. Ospreay is able to get in kick-ass and strike when they return to the ring. Fletcher fires back and Ospreay calls for him to do it again. Ospreay puts his hands behind his back for another chop, and Fletcher kicks him in the head instead. From here, they move to near counts.

Ospreay gets a piledriver on the floor and when Fletcher gets into the ring, Ospreay attacks him immediately. From here it’s a lot of speedy hold/counter hold and both men are taken out. Excellent sequence that got adrenaline pumping. They then move to finishing moves and it’s clear that Ospreay will have to pull out the Tiger Driver if he wants to win.

They fight on the apron and Fletcher hits a pile driver onto the steel steps. Fletcher returns Ospreay to the ring and goes for finishing moves and near falls. Ospreay keeps trying to attack and Fletcher is unfazed by the attacks. Fletcher is able to get a brain buster on the top turnbuckle and covers Ospreay for the pin and the win.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher

Mark Davis comes to the ring to check on Ospreay.

It is now time for the Mariah May Champagne Championship Celebration and she is introduced by Mina Shirakawa. They praise each other and drink champagne. Mina starts to dance and May grabs the bottle and takes a swing at Mina. Mina then kicks the bottle and spears May off the stage into the table.

Jack Perry (TNT Champion) vs Daniel Garcia

Before the match we get a music video for Garcia and a message from his mother. On the other hand, Perry comes to the ring wearing a goat head.

Matt Menard joins commentary.

This starts as a traditional match and after they break in the corner, Perry starts stalling outside the ring. When Perry returns to the match Garcia gets an arm bar and whips Perry to the ropes and Perry goes back to stalling. Garcia is finally able to catch him outside the ring and they brawl around the ring.

From here, the story is that Garcia is trying to win in the ring and Perry is trying to psych out Garcia and then working him over when he is in control. After the last two matches, this is a low-key match, slower and fewer big moves.

They move to fighting on the floor again and Perry power bombs Garcia through the timekeeper’s table. Matt Menard tries to get Garcia up and leaves the announcers table. Garcia gets into the ring right before the ten count. Garcia starts his comeback after hitting a clothesline on Perry and then beats him down in the corner.

They go back to the back and forth style of a match. When Perry gets control, he gets out of the ring and grabs his title belt. He tosses it at Garcia and calls for him to use it on him. Garcia looks to use it and instead tosses it to the ref, which allows Perry to get a low blow for two. Garcia then starts to mount his comeback.

After a series of attacks, Garcia gets a sharpshooter and drags Perry to the middle of the ring, where Perry has to tap out.

Winner and NEW TNT Champion: Daniel Garcia

Perry hands him the title, crying after Garcia leaves.
