Bayley is out first.
The champ is out next, no Tiffy.
Nia attacked at the start and worked Bayley over for the first few minutes until Bayley made a comeback.
For those curious, they changed out the bloody ring canvas, of course.
Bayley hit a suicide dive on the floor on Nia but it was like hitting a brick wall. Nia is back in charge.
Nia went for her finish but Bayley popped up and got under her. Nia shifted her weight and kind of did a kick/rana on her. Wow.
The fans are chanting Tiffy Time I think.
Bayley went for a Sunset Flip Bomb but Nia landed her. Bayley is dropping elbows and then hit the Savage Elbow at two. Nia kicked out and drove Bayley out of the ring. Nia charged her on the floor but Bayley moved and Nia hit the stairs. Bayley dropped an elbow onto Nia's back from the stairs. She couldn't get Nia up though so she broke the count and when she came back out she ate forearm, a powerbomb on the steps and then was thrown into the barricade.
Nia got a two with a Samoan Drop.
There are some spots in this match that aren't hitting as expected.
Nia walked into a Samoan Drop. Two count only. Nia then fell on the ref, she is selling it. Bayley hit a Stunner and a Rose Plant but the ref is out. Tiffy came out and used the case on Bayley. What will she do now. Both women are down. She was handing it to the ref when Nia popped up. The Queen is not happy and she is telling Tiffy. Bayley changed and rolled up Nia for two.
Bayley went to the top and Tiffy threw her the case to distract her. That was all Nia needed to get the win with a Samoan Drop from the second rope and The Annihilator.
As I said above, some of the spots didn't hit as expected. In some cases it made it look more like a fight and in others it seemed like they went sideways.
Overall, it was a good match. Bayley is so smooth and good. She's fun to watch.
Xavier Woods is talking about a video game I know nothing about.
They showed us X Pac, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson. Cole said two of The Four Horsemen, Graves said The Brainbusters. I will go with Cole on this one.
Damien Priest vs. Finn Balor.
Finn is out first, followed by Priest. Priest was on the attack early and then Finn took over. Priest came back with big right hand to the face as Balor came off the top rope but Finn quickly got the upper hand back.
Priest came back with some big kicks and hands.
They went to the floor where Priest wiped out Finn. He had him on the ropes when Carlito and JD came down. That let Finn hit the Coup but Priest kicked out at two. Carlito distracted the ref again and Finn went to use a chair but Priest used it on him instead. But Finn kept going (the dude is a machine). He did a Coup on the back of Priest, a second on the side but on the third he got caught in South Of Heaven, 1-2-3.
This was really good and booked the way it should have been given that one brother turned on the other (you know, the exact opposite way that Mox vs. Bryan has been booked).
HHH is on his way out to make an announcement. There is a Crown Jewel podium with a bag on the top of it. The fans are chanting HHH. He talked about his time in WCW as Terra Ryzing. This is their 60th sellout and their biggest arena even of the year. In four weeks Crown Jewel. That got some bad reactions from fans. HHH said that it's the beginning of a new era for WWE. It will be a new deal where the two men's champions and the women's champions will have non-Title matches where the winners will get a gaudy ass Crown Jewel Title belt. It's bling heavy. That brought out Gunther.
Gunther said he would win in Saudi and also that he would be Sami on Monday. Then he said as a legend himself he wants to put the spotlight on legends in attendance. The fans chanted Goldberg. Gunther then threw it to Bill. He said that he was lying when he told Bret Hart that Goldberg was his favorite as a kid. How could he be a fan of a one trick pony like you. He said he was just busting balls but seriously Gage, he hopes for you that Bill is a better father than he is a professional wrestler. Goldberg stood up and then made his way towards the ring. Security, Adam Pearce and HHH said don't come in the ring while Gunther egged him on. Sami Zayn then came out and attacked Gunther. They fought up the entrance way as security tried to break them up.
Back in the ring, Goldberg was in the ring and HHH raised his arm. The fans chanted his name.
