We have been waiting for this one for a while now, CM Punk will hook it up with Drew McIntyre. Seth is out first, with a ref robe. he's wearing the ref cam. He took off the robe and has a sparkling ref shirt. Pants are still on, hopefully they stay on and we don't revisit HBK's shorts.
Drew is out next.
Drew got ring post pyro and then told Seth to bring that bitch out here. The fans were ready. Big pop for Punk's song. They are singing along. Just think, he could have been on Collision tonight instead of here. Then again so could Cody.
Anyway, Punk with a great pop coming out.
Seth is being a real ref, and keeping his pants on. And we are off, throwing hands from the start. Seth, who said on the pre-show that he wouldn't count, counted and pulled Seth off at 5 and Drew attacked. Then he did the same to Drew.
Now they are brawling on the floor. The announcers are saying Punk is looking good so far. They are right.
Rollins won't count when they fight on the floor, apparently only in the ring, The crowd wants tables. Now they are singing Rollins' song. Um, OK.
Drew threw Punk into the announce table. Seth is letting the fight forever on the floor. Seth loves it. Drew then slingshotted him into the ring frame and went to work.
Drew went for the pin but Punk kicked out at one so Seth egged him, saying you said you would kill him, come on! Drew is in control.
Drew hit a sit out powerbomb but Punk kicked out at two. Drew wasn't happy. Seth said do your job. Drew went and got a chair. Drew said turn around and let me use it. Seth faked him out and stopped him. That led to Drew slapping Seth. Seth almost hit Punk with the chair but stopped. Punk rolled Drew up but Seth was late on the count. Drew put on the bracelet and that led to Punk firing up and coming back. He hit some strikes and then hit the Savage Elbow after blowing a kiss at Drew. Two count only. Punk locked on the Anaconda Vice but instead of going for the win, he used it to get the bracelet. Punk ate a Claymore but Punk came out at two. The crowd is cheering for Punk.
Drew went for the Future Shock. Punk got out and Drew hit the post. Drew set up for GTS when he saw that Rollins put on the AJ/Larry bracelet. He faced off with Seth. Seth went to the floor. Punk hit the GTS but Seth was on the floor and while Punk had him, Seth wasn't there. Drew got to kick out at 2. Punk faced off with Seth. They jawed at each other. Drew used the time to recover. Seth said, "It's not always about you asshole" so Punk hit him with the GTS and got the bracelet back. Drew nailed him in the nuts and hit a Claymore. Seth struggled over and counted three, begrudgingly . Drew wins. He then took the bracelet.
I loved it. The work was great but there was no way that this ends here. It's just beginning. Punk was totally a babyface and wanted the bracelet more than the win. There is a ton of meat left on this bone.
Damien and Finn made up. Finn asked if he needs him out there, just ask. Priest said thanks but no. Here we go. Priest defends next.
Gunther is out first. Then the champ.
Gunther's chest is still beat up from Monday. He won't let that stop him. Lots of boos for Gunther. A lot of cheers for Priest.
I can tell right away that this will be stiff. I know, I went out on a limb there.
Both guys have fans in the crowd.
They are laying it in. It's like a real fight. I love it.
Gunther's chest is bleeding from the stiffness.
Gunther kicked out of South Of Heaven at 2. Fans are popping for Priest when he signalled the Razor's Edge as coming but he couldn't hit. Gunther is on the offense. He is awesome. The fans are loving it, as the should.
Gunther kicked Priest in the face. The champ asked for more.
Finn Balor just arrived, Gunther doesn't like it. Finn is urging Priest on.
It's bowling shoe ugly now, in the best possible way.
Gunther rubbed his chest blood on his face. He is working over the champ and mocking Finn. Then he kicked him, Down goes Balor. That pissed off Priest. Huge clotheslines from Priest. Razor's Edge, South Of Heaven but Finn put Gunther's leg on the rope to break the count. Priest looked at the Tron and saw what happened. I love that they are having guys be smart and not morons. Yes, look at the Tron. Priest glared at Balor and Gunther took advantage. He locked on the sleeper but Priest powered out. He went at Finn again and Gunter took advantage and choked him out to win the Title. It was awesome! Priest turned total babyface here. He cared more about his friend turning than keeping his Title, like a babyface would.
The match itself was great. The Judgment Day is a new animal now and Priest and Rhea are now babyfaces.
