Chris Jericho vs Wardlow vs Powerhouse Hobbs vs Lance Archer vs Hook vs Brian Cage vs Magnus vs Dante Martin and the winner gets an AEW World Championship Title Shot

Taz joins commentary as Nigel tags out. Jake Roberts comes out with Lance Archer and Prince Nana comes out with Brian Cage. Wardlow comes out with Undisputed Kingdom, including Adam Cole.

It quickly becomes Wardlow, Cage, Archer and Hobbs in the ring. We get a quick posedown before they all charge at each other over and over. After big boots we are left with Archer and Wardlow in the ring throwing hands.

They then switch over to the smaller four guys fighting in the ring doing the same sort of thing. Jericho then goes after Hobbs and it’s time for dives. INCLUDING HOOK! Magnus and Dante take the ring and as they stark, others start getting into the ring with them. We then get men in all four corners for suplexes.  The pace picks up, but Dante goes for a dive onto people on the outside and his foot catches on the top rope.  Really glad that it didn't end up with someone getting hurt.

We return to Dante and Magnus getting a spotlight until Archer cuts off Magnus. Any time we get the big guys going at each other, the crowd is chanting for it. We then move to near falls, with people coming in one at a time. Wardlow gets a German suplex on just about everyone until Hook gets on his back for the redrum. Jericho grabs a liontamer at the same time, but it’s broken up.

We go back to one on one matchups. Dante gets a nice flurry of near falls on different participants. In the end, Wardlow gets a power bomb on Dante for the pin and the win.

Winner and getting a World Title Shot: Wardlow

I normally don't care for these types of matches, but other than a couple of highly choreographed sequences, it was a fun match and everyone got some time in the spotlight.

Orange Cassidy (Intercontinental Champion) vs Roderick Strong w/Matt Taven and Mike Bennett

They go for near falls right away, and Roddy takes over pretty quickly.  Cassidy rolls to the floor when Roddy works him over on the floor. When they return to the ring, Strong keeps working over Cassidy, and hits a long series of back breakers before getting a two count. Cassidy is able to slam Roddy’s head into the turnbuckles repeatedly, but Roddy recovers and hits a gutwrench on the top turnbuckle which just looked brutal.

Roddy just keeps working over Cassidy, first with mocking kicks and then back to chops. Cassidy tries for a spinning DDT and Roddy cuts him off.  Cassidy tries for stundog millionaire and again, Roddy cuts him off. Roddy keeps working over Cassidy’s back. Cassidy is able to get a diving DDT but he can’t get a good pin on Roddy because of the pain in his back. Cassidy gets a Panama Sunrise for two.

Strong goes back to the back breaker. Cassidy gets an Orange Punch, but needs help front he ropes to get the Beach Break. Strong is able to get the End of Heartache for the pin and the win.

Winner and NEW AEW International Champion: Roderick Strong

Kyle O’Reilly shows up in the ring, returning from injury, and is handed an Undisputed Kingdom shirt. He gives the shirt back to Strong, whispers in his ear and then leaves the ring.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli)

Claudio and Dax start out quick and have a flurry of two counts back and forth before they slow down and get into grappling around the ring. They then start trading slaps, chops and blows. Both of them drop to the mat and we then get Cash and Mox. They also brawl in the ring and Cash is able to get in a series of unanswered blows. The tags start to happen quicker as FTR works to keep Claudio in the ring.

When Cash is knocked to the outside, Mox tags in to work him over on the floor. Then, it becomes BCC keeping Cash in the ring. Cash is in the ring for a good, long time, and when Dax gets the hot tag, he fights Claudio and gets a series of near falls, with Mox getting knocked out of the ring. Dax is sent into the post when he tags Cash, and Cash is dropped quickly once he gets into the ring.

And Dax is busted open.

Dax is able to tag in, and Claudio reverses the doomsday machine into a slam on Dax. BCC then goes to work on Dax and he’s bleeding profusely. Dax and Mox throw hands and Dax gets a series of near falls on Mox. BCC gets a doomsday device, and then Cash dives onto Claudio to break up the pin.

Crowd is weird in this match. Quiet when they are fighting but exploding for the near falls. Mox works over Dax on the top, and Mox bites Dax’s forehead, and it reminds me how much I hate that kind of crap.

They return to near falls and then brawling outside the ring. Mox and Dax get near falls, then Mox gets a rear naked choke on Dax and Claudio holds Cash from breaking the hold and Dax passes out.

Winners:   Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli)

I guess there will be people who say the blood added to the match, but to my mind., it was unnecessary and hurt how much I liked the match.  Still, these two teams put on great matches and it feels like they will keep going with the feud.

"Timeless" Toni Storm (AEW Women’s World Champion) W/Mariah May and Luther vs Deonna Purrazzo

Mariah May comes out in Toni Storm’s old gear with her old music.

The match is a slowdown after the tag team match, with them working traditionally. Storm gets over her personality with her gestures and facial expressions. I would have thought it would have been more of a fight than a wrestling match because of the build. They work well together as they get a lot of mat work as well as the Big moves. They also try to work hard to get the crowd to react.

When Luther catches Storm and Purrazzo leaps onto both of them, the crowd comes alive and gets more involved in the match. PUrrazzo gets Storm to tap to the Venus Di Milo, but the ref doesn’t see it since May and Luther distract the ref. This allows Storm to get the pile driver for the pin and the win.

Winner and still AEW Women’s Champion: Toni Storm
