They did a promo segment for Perth. It’s beautiful, no doubt about it.
Finn Balor and Damien Priest defend their tag titles against Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate next.
The challengers got a nice pop coming out. They champs are not the crowd favorites here. And to ensure that won’t change, they are accompanied by Dirty Dom.
After Mike Rome announced the challengers, Dom grabbed the mic and announced his guys. You KNOW what the crowd did, and they did it loudly. Dom is a heat machine, I love it.
After he did the announcement the challengers tossed Dom to the floor and the match is on.
The challengers are in control early. Bate is a machine, he really is. The guy can do it all.
Priest turned the tide by punching Bate in the face. They beat him down for a few minutes and then he made the hot tag to Pete, who came in on fire. He did a moonsault from the second rope to the floor on the champs.
Priest came in and hit a couple of impressive kicks and then a clothesline from hell on Bate, two count only.
They double-teamed Bate but he again kicked out. Finn is ticked now, stomping the hell out of Bate. But Finn got spun and then Bate got Damien up and did a LOT of airplane spins on him. I lost count. That’s impressive.
Bate tagged Pete and they double kicked Finn. Bate flew to the floor, wiping out Priest. Dunne hit The Bitter End but Dom put Finn’s leg on the rope. Cole told the ref what he did and she tossed Dom.
When action resumed Finn hit Pete with a Sling Blade and then went up for the Coup but Pete moved. He then snapped Finn’s fingers. Double Tyler Driver 97 on Finn but Priest was able to reach in and break it up. The fans are chanting that this is awesome and they 100 percent correct.
Finn called for The Razor’s Edge and tagged in Priest. Bate managed to roll out of it and pushed Priest into Balor, who was up top. They got a two on Priest with a BirmingHammer. Corey just paid homage to Kenta Kobashi. This ain’t Vince’s WWE anymore, THANK GOD!
They had Priest on the second rope but Finn grabbed his leg. Priest hit double South Of Heaven and Finn came off with the Coup on Dunne to retain the Titles.
Amazing match, one where the losers came out way stronger than they were going in.
Graves said that Becky would face Rhea at Mania. Uh, not yet.
They showed Logan Paul. Boo. They showed Orton and Lashley. Cheers.
Time for Austin Theory Live. He doesn’t like vegemite. He had a classic Australian meal at Outback Steakhouse. Boo. He brought out Grayson Waller, who of course got cheered.
He drank out of a gold shoe with a UFC guy. Graves said he got a text from Nia and said he needed to correct the mistake he made about who Becky would face.
Waller knew he wouldn’t get booed so he ran with it and did the Aussie Aussie Aussie bit with the crowd and then brought out Seth Rollins, to a huge pop and sing-along.
And then, of course, Cody. They popped and sung huge for him as well.
Cody asked what Perth wanted to talk about. Waller said it was his show and he wants to pay homage to Roman Reigns.
Waller asked who Seth wanted at Mania. He said he has a scoop, he’s days away from being cleared so whoever it was it doesn’t matter.
Waller said that the world wanted to see Rock vs. Roman. The crowd booed. Does Cody feel bad taking it away from them. Before he could answer the crowd chanted Rocky Sucks. Cody asked if there were any Cody Crybabies here tonight. There were.
Cody went to addressed why he stepped out of the match against Roman only to step back in and Waller cut him off. He said he has an announcement too. He said that he wants to wrestle Rock any time, any place. Seth got up and said he thinks it’s time we cut the head off of the snake once and all. Seth said that the Bloodline never does anything one on one so if that happens, he will not be alone. He will have Seth with him.
Theory started doing Rock lines on the faces and they wiped him out. Waller stood back and watched. Some friend. Seth and Cody shook hands.
