Frankie Kazarian with Traci Brooks vs. Eddie Edwards with Alesha Edwards.
The story here is that beyond their personal grudge, Windsor is the birthplace of their mutual trainer, the late Killer Kowalski.
Some fine grappling early on as they really muscled up in the lockups and were slowly but surely building a match where they were going at each other. Kazarian broke a side headlock against the ropes and Edwards shoved him out to the floor. Alesha was talking tons of trash to Brooks. Edwards worked over Kazarian in the aisle. He brought Kaz back in the ring and controlled him until being hit with big overhead belly to back suplex.
Kazarian used a rolling pinfall attempt for a two count, then sent him to the floor. Kaz whipped out an old Sabu spot, leaping over the top to Edwards' shoulders and nailing a rana. Looked awesome. Kaz chopped away at Edwards on the floor. Edwards regained control. The crowd chanted "Boston sucks." Kazarian mounted a comeback but was drilled with a headbutt, sending him down to the floor again. Edwards broke the ten count and tossed Kazarian back in the ring. The anti-Boston chants kept getting louder. Alesha played off the crowd perfectly.
Edwards stomped away on Kaz in the corner. Kaz fired back and they drilled each other back and forth with kicks and punches. Kazarian got the better of the exchange and hit a spinkick. He went for the springboard legdrop but Edwards got out of the way. Kazarian nailed it a second time and scored a two count. The crowd chanted for Kazarian. Edwards came back to hit the backpack stunner for a two count. They battled to the top, where Edwards nailed a big superplex that wiped them out. The referee nearly counted them out on the mat but they fought to their feet, where Edwards went for the crossface chicken wing, Kazarian's finisher. Kaz escaped and went for the Boston Knee Party, Edwards' finisher.
They continued battling. Edwards went for a Famouser but was caught and slammed backwards for a two count. They both went for a suplex and crashed over to the ropes to the floor. This was been excellent. The referee got bumped when Edwards ducked and Kaz hit him accidentally. They hit a double clothesline but there was no one to count. Alesha pulled out the Singapore Cane but Brooks entered the ring and, hit a double leg takedown. They scrapped on the mat. Brooks nailed a big clothesline, taking her out of the ring.
Kazarian locked on the chickenwing and Edwards tapped but there was still no referee. Edwards drilled Kazarian with the Singapore Cane and nailed the Boston Knee Party for the pin as the referee recovered.

A damn good wrestling match.
Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. Trinity.
The crowd is clearly pro-Trinity.
Mercedes Mone is there, but not on camera.
They had a nice feeling out sequence early before facing off. Purrazzo went for the Fujiwara armbar but Trinity made it to the ropes to break the hold. Purrazzo went to the floor to avoid the Rear View. Trinity nailed a flying bodypress but bounced off and Purrazzo drilled her. She began focusing on Trinity's arm, working it over and scoring several near falls. Purrazzo used an arm wringer to continue breaking down the extremity.
The champ scored another two count after a suplex. Trinity kept trying to fight back but Purrazzo kept maintaining control. Purrazzo tried to lock her in a submission but the crowd chanted for the challenger as escaped. Trinity finally mounted a comeback with a kick from the ropes and nailing a series of clotheslines and kicks. Trinity nailed a Samoan Drop and a kick to the face but Deonna kicked out.
Trinity cinched her in Starstruck but they went into a series of counters. Trinity went for a headscissors but was trapped and nailed with a piledriver for a close two count. Purrazzo went for The Queens' Gambit but Trinity fought her way out. Deonna used a Side Russian Legsweep and cinched in a Fujiwara armbar. Trinity fought and made it to the ropes. Deonna refused to release until the referee got to five. Trinity came back to hit a split-legged moonsault off the corner for a two count.
They battled to the outside, where Deonna nailed Queen's Gambit on the apron outside but Trinity kicked out at the last second, which they played up like a big moment. Trinity made a comeback and cinched in Starstruck. She locked up Deonna's legs and Purrazzo had no choice but to submit. Great ending.

This was a very solid match with Deonna shining as the heel champ and Trinity looking like a fiery babyface with the big offensive maneuvers. Deonna submitting really makes Trinity look strong as Purrazzo has never tapped since coming to Impact.
We are told Dirty Dango vs. Santino Marella has been shifted to tomorrow's TV taping.
Impact Wrestling Champion Alex Shelley vs. Nick Aldis.
Aldis went right in Shelley's face but Alex spit water in his face and went right after him, raining down with fists. Aldis cut him off and went right for the Texas Cloverleaf. Shelley tried to fight to the ropes but was caught in the center. He finally made it to the ropes to force the beak. Aldis immediately stomped him. He continued working over Shelley and nailed a big suplex for another two count.
Shelley finally came back with attacks on Aldis' knee, hitting a series of Dragonscrew. Shelley began stomping and beating on the knee. Aldis sent him into the ring post. He kept working on Shelley, slamming him on the apron. They battled on the apron. Shelley leaped over the ropes and stomped Aldis' arm. Shelley came back and sent him into the ring post on the floor. He pulled Aldis' fingers through the metal part of the buckles and snapped them, with the idea being that he may have broken some of the fingers. Shelley used a Dragon Screw in the ropes. Aldis came back and drilled Shelley with a big clotheslines. Aldis went to the top but Shelley caught him and went for and nailed a superplex. Shelley went down, his back hurting, after trying to get up.
They battled to their feet with Shelley taking the fight to Aldis, working him over. Aldis blocked a superkick and went back to the Cloverleaf but couldn't turn it over. He went for a figure four but was rolled up for a two count. Shelley nailed Sliced Bread #2 and transitioned into the Border City Stretch. Aldis turned it over into a Cloverleaf variation but Shelley went after the finger to break it. Aldis caught Shelley going for Sliced Bread #2 and drove him into a tombstone piledriver for a two count. Aldis nailed a flying elbow for another two count.
Aldis grabbed the Impact title belt but before he could utilize it, Shelley nailed him and grabbed the belt. The referee took it from Shelley but that allowed Aldis to nail a lowblow and score a two count. Aldis grabbed the belt again but Shelley DDTs him on the title. Shelley nailed a superkick, Aldis is bleeding., Shelley nailed Shellshock and scored the pinfall.

A hard fought main event with lots of logical storytelling and two talents who worked to beat down the other.
Shelley celebrated in the ring when Josh Alexander showed up and took the ring mic. He announced he was "back." They faced off. Nice cliffhanger to end the show.
