Bully Ray & Deaner with Big Kon vs. Scott D'Amore & ? with special enforcer NHL legend Darren McCarthy
The mystery partner is former Impact Champion Eric Young, who came out in his Team Canada gear. He got a big reaction live.
Deaner looked stunned that it was Young, who he took out in 2022 to take over The Design. He tagged out for Bully Ray. They started out and went back and forth. Young grabbed an arm and tagged Scott. Bully started talking trash. Deaner tagged in and raked Scott's face. Scott nailed a leg lariat. The crowd chanted, "You still got it." Deaner kicked of a pinfall attempt. Young tagged in and nailed a Death Drop for a two count.
Young held Deaner for D'Amore to come off the ropes with an elbow. Big Kon got on the apron as Scott set up for a Canadian Destroyer but McCarthy entered the ring to tell the referee. Bully used the scene to attack Scott from behind. Deaner bit Scott's forehead. Bully Ray beat up D'Amore outside in front of his mother, who wanted to punch him in the face. D'Amore kept fighting back every time he got knocked down. The crowd sang the Canadian National Anthem to cheer on Scott. Bully nailed a low blow and demanded the referee disqualfy him. When the referee refused, Bully got him in his face. The referee threw down his stripes and exited. Darren McCarty put on the striples and took over the officiating, refusing to DQ Bully.
Scott recovered during all this and speared Bully. Young tagged in and had the pinfall but Kon pulled McCarty out of the ring. Kon confronted Young but Team Canada's A-1 hit the ring and clotheslined him out of the ring. D'Amore and Young hit the Dudleys' Wazzup headbutt. Bully screamed "My balls!" Young pulled out a table which the crowd loved. McCarty and D'Amore double chokeslammed Bully through a table. Scott nailed a Canadian Destroyer on Deaner for the pin.
Your winners, Eric Young and Scott D'Amore!
Perfect mix of story, wrestling and shenanigans to make the live crowd happy. This was fun and exactly what it needed to be for a Canadian crowd. A-1 returned to celebrate as they played the Team Canada theme.
D'Amore went to ringside and hugged his mother. That was a nice moment.
Nick Aldis cut a promo saying tonight is Alex Shelley's chance to prove he belongs and can hang as Impact Champion. He asked if he can handle the moment and the emotion. Aldis said he's a closer. He said he doesn't need three seconds to win, just a moment of weakness.
X-Division Champion Chris Sabin vs. Lio Rush.
As Sabin made his way to the apron, Rush knocked him off and hit a tope suicida to the floor, smashing Sabin backwards into the ring aisle. Sabin grabbed at his head and was down on the floor, seemingly out of it. The doctors wanted Sabin not to wrestle but he refused and entered the ring. Rush attacked him as soon as the bell rang. Rush measured and drilled him with a spinning kick. He nailed the Final Hour but Sabin kicked out at the last second, which pissed Rush off. Rush nailed another and scored the pin.
Your winner and new X-Division Champion Lio Rush!
A surprising twist here that got over Rush as a ruthless competitor and getting sympathy for Sabin.
Alex Shelley was asked for his response to what just happened but walked off without giving an answer.
They showed Trinity preparing for her match.
Deonna Purrazzo was shown taping her wrists up for tonight's title bout.

Mark Andrews and Chris Bey kicked off the match. Subculture caught Ace Austin with some nice double-team manuevers. Callihan got involved. Swann hit a dive onto Myers on the floor. Bey went for one on Moose but was caught and powerbombed onto the apron. Austin nailed several kicks from the apron but was speared on the apron by Myers. Andrews hit a dive to the floor on Myers. Callihan caught Andrews and hit a DVDR over the top onto everyone on the floor. The crowd was enjoying the early sequences.
Swann and Austin had some really nice back and forth exchanges. Myers and Moose nailed double powerbomb. Subculture took control over Moose and Myers. Myers was knocked to the floor. Callihan double-clotheslined Subculture. Bey and Swann battled. Moose kicked them both and went for a moonsault but they caught him in mid-air with stunners. The crowd chanted "Holy sh**!"
The Champs nailed Sami with double superkicks and went for the 1-2-Sweet but they weren't the legal team. The Rascals ran out and attacked Austin on the floor. Bey nailed a dive onto them. Subculture took out Myers. Andrews nailed a shooting star press and pinned Myers!
