They did a video of WWE stars with Special Olympics kids in Saudi Arabia. Titus, Omos, Lashley and Bianca all spoke and they came off very well.
Time for our main event. I am looking forward to it.
I spoke too soon. Here comes Bray Wyatt! The fans are chanting Welcome Back when he makes it to the ring. He got a big pop for saying what his name was. Bray did a promo saying he doesn’t like himself but he is here to write the ending to his story. Then Uncle Howdy came on the screen and tried to talk him out of being good.Tell him he’s wrong. Bray was not happy.
Paul came out first, in a cool entrance. He is fired up to be there for sure. The fans gave him love. Roman is out next, that’s who they are there to see. Roman came out with Paul Heyman.
They took it slow early. The fans are into Logan and even chanting for him. The crowd is making this match for sure. Paul looks good early. Roman is taking a powder. Back in the ring, the champ took control. Logan then came back. His stuff looks good. He’s a natural.
While Roman was preening on the floor, Paul came out of nowhere with a big splash. He did a 360 clothesline to get a two on the champ. Paul is getting some hope in and looking good in the process but the champ is largely dominating.
After taking a beatdown, Paul made a mini comeback. All of the stuff he does looks good. He is obviously taking it all seriously. We haven’t seen any family for either guy yet.
Out of nowhere, Paul hit a Superman on the champ. He kipped up. He is yelling let’s go to the crowd. Taking too much time. He went up top and him a splash and a standing moonsault. 2.5! Paul is an athlete for sure. The dude could be a star if he wanted to do this full time.
He is wasting too much time playing to the fans. As Roman got up Logan was firing up for Sweet Chin Music. Roman saw it coming and hit the Rock Bottom for a two.
Roman went for the Superman but got hit in the kidney. Paul nailed him with a punch and then a Superman punch, but he only got two. They are doing a great job. I know that there is no way Paul will or should win but I am still invested. Paul is doing his part to make this a legitimate Title match.
Roman rolled to the floor. Logan followed. He’s clearing off the Arabic announce table. He put Roman on it. He grabbed a phone from his buddy in the crowd. He took selfies of the crowd. He went to the top turnbuckle and did a frog slash on Reigns, on the announce table, while taking a video. This is great stuff. Here come The Usos. They are getting into it with Logan’s entourage. Where is Jake?
The Usos took one of Paul’s guys into the ring and beat his ass. Music starts and here comes Jake Paul. He stormed to the ring and faced off with The Usos. He hit each Uso with a right hand and down they went. He doesn’t work as good as brother does but that’s understandable.
Logan put Roman in the ring while Jake said finish this shizzle. Frog splash but two count only. This is really good. Out comes Solo Sikoa. He is pissed. He is getting in Jake’s face. Refs and agents stop them. They take Solo away but the Usos get up so Logan comes flying over the top to the floor and takes them out. Logan came back in and ate a Superman Punch, then a Spear. 1-2-3, Roman retains!
I loved it. Since Logan isn’t a full time guy, they had to add more bells and whistles so I was fine with them. Logan Paul is legit. Any time he wants to come back and wrestle, fine by me. He clearly put the time in and respects the business so that’s all I ask from a celebrity.
We go off the air with the Bloodline (minus Sami) on the rampway throwing up the Ones as pyro goes off. Well we stayed a little longer. Roman never wants to see Paul again. Heyman says Roman is his tribal chief. Then they did a recap of what we saw tonight. That was your show.
Overall it was an excellent PLE. There were a lot of great matches. I get that some people don’t want to watch the Saudi events and I totally understand why. If you watched this one however, you saw a great show.
