WELL, NOW WE KNOW WHY PEOPLE DON’T WATCH THE WAY THEY USED TO, TIME FOR SOMEONE TO BURN, THE MAIN EVENT WILL NOT BE A TITLE MATCH, ASUKA'S PARTNER, CAN HURT BUSINESS GET THE GOLD, SASHA PUTS THE TITLE ON THE LINE AGAINST CARMELLA, DREW DEFENDS AGAINST AJ - ONGOING WWE TLC BLOG

I still can’t believe that a match is not headlining the show.  WOW.

Roman made his walk to the ring.  As it was about time to introduce KO, he attacked Reigns out of nowhere and laid him out in a big way early on, including a splash from the apron to the floor.  It was a good way to start so that Reigns is vulnerable.

KO scared Paul away and Jey Uso came out and nailed him.  There’s no DQ and he was ready for it.  He is using a chair on the cousins.

KO used the chair to destroy Jey’s ankle.  He’s down for at least a while.  Now KO is heading to the announce table.  But when he turned around Reigns hit a Drive By.  Now he is working over KO.  Jey is being walked to the back with the worked ankle.  KO just got ring steps to the face and body.

After being beaten down for a while KO came back but took a backdrop onto two chairs.  Roman says he must torture this fool.  He tossed him to the floor and went up for his belt but KO popped up with a chair and went to work on the champ.  He hit a Fisherman’s Suplex on Roman on a chair.  OUCH!

KO turned the tables and told Roman he is making him do this.  KO got up to the top of the ladder when Roman was down and out and Jey came out of nowhere and stopped him.  KO would have gotten the belt.  Jey did enough to allow Roman to attack him from behind with a Superman.  Now Jey is setting up a table on the floor.  He put a few tables in the ring and Roman is setting them up.

Use is selling the leg pain when KO came back and took both men down.  Can he get up the ladder?

Nope. Roman stopped him.  KO came back and hit a pop up on Jey and put him through the announce table and then covered him in plunder.  He climbed up but Roman stopped him before he could grab the belt.  Then he did a powerbomb on KO on a ladder.  Again, OUCH.  Then he did it again.  Also ouch.  They he put him through a table on the floor.  He saw what KO did to Jey.  He took off the plunder and threw it on KO.  Samoan Drop on KO through a table.

Roman went up for the belt when KO scraggled in and grabbed him by the leg.  Roman laughed and rather than grab the Title he came back down to beat him up some more.  He said KO was embarrassing his family but KO hit him.  Roman speared him through a table.  KO rolled to the floor.  Roman looked incredulous.  KO said he would have to kill him.  Roman went down to spear him through the barricade but KO moved and Roman crashed and burned.

KO went to the ring when Roman was down on the floor.  Up he climbed the ladder.  As he got to the top Roman came back and stopped him.  He smashed him face first into the ladder.  KO kept coming back and powerbombed Roman through a table.  He rolled to the floor.  Can KO make it up the ladder?  He is at the top.  He has it.  He comes Jey to stop it.  KO hit a Stunner.  Back up he goes.  He got to the top and had the belt when Roman hit him in the nuts.  He locked on the choke at the top of the ladder.  KO goes limp and down he goes.  Roman grabbed the belt and retained the Title.

It was an excellent match for sure.  I didn't think there was any way that they would have KO win and by the end I was like, maybe they may do it.  That is great story telling.  As for the work, these two killed themselves and one thing they will both get for Christmas is a painful body, for sure.

And now, we get the movie.  The show has been really strong so even if they crap the bed, it was a good 2.5 hours of wrestling.

It is starting out like a match.  The winner will light the other guy on fire.  This should be special.

Randy is out first.  Then The Fiend.

Fiend no sold everything early.  He laughed a lot.  Then he threw Randy to the floor and set the ringside area on fire.  It's a cool spectacle.  Not wrestling really but a spectacle.

Fiend tried to burn Randy but he bailed.  Fiend used a pick and but Randy moved.  Fiend doused the rocking chair in gas and threw Randy into the steps.  He dumped Randy in the chair and lit a gas line.  Randy bailed out of the chair before it burned.  It looked pretaped.  I hope it was.

Randy came back and hit Fiend with plunder.  What am I watching?  Seriously.  It's all about who can burn the other one first, with big fire shots at opportune times.  This is not pro wrestling, at least not in my world.  My wife just walked in, saw it and said, "No wonder so few people are watching" and left the room.  Now keep in mind, when it's good, she likes it.  

Anyway Randy pushed Fiend into fire.  He started burning.  Randy went into the ring.  Fiend ran in, burning.  Randy hit an RKO because well hell, who wouldn't grab a burning demon and hit a wrestling move?  Randy then checked on him because, well hell, I have no idea why he would RKO a guy who is on fire.  I don't know why he would care after the fact.

But wait, it's a Russo swerve!  He doesn't care.  He just went and got the gas can.  Byron, who is apparently dumber than a rock, asked, "What is Randy going to do?"  We all know.  He is going to pour it on The Fiend and set him on fire of course!  So he pours the gas, rolled out for some matches, came back and lit a match.  And then he set what was clearly not The Fiend on fire.  Oh yeah, this was seriously pre-taped.  And seriously lame.  We went off the air.  

So there ya go.  A great show for 2.5 hours ended with garbage that will will make a lot of people happy we don't have to watch another one of these shows until late next month.  Like my wife said, when Vince wonders why they did their lowest audience ever last Monday, this is why.
