After a replay of Lita talking about rebranding the Belt from earlier, Lita came to the ring with it. It's time for the Women's Title match.
Becky was out first. Then Snoop came out with his singer and did Sasha's theme live. Big pop. He came down to the ring with her.
Charlotte was out last, with her dad. She has a robe that was made with pieces of his. It was a great entrance. She was wearing the old belt, which will be retired tonight.
It was all crazy action early, with no one getting an advantage.
Becky locked on the armbar on Charlotte after Sasha got dumped on the floor but Sasha came in and broke it up. Charlotte dumped her to the floor and locked on the Figure Four but Sash came in and broke it up with a Frog Splash. The fans are loving it. Too much is going on to recap.
Ric got wiped out on the floor and while Sash and Becky were down there Charlotte did a moonsault from the top to the floor on both of them. The fans chanted THIS IS WRESTLING. Yep, god thing they changed that Title name.
Charlotte threw threw them back in the ring and tried to pin them both but couldn't get it done. Sasha went to powerbomb Sash but while she was on her shoulders Becky came off of the top with a dropkick and then locked the Disarmer on the champ. Sasha broke it up with a Bank Statement on Becky. Sash rolled out but she put it back on. Charlotte came in and locked the Figure Four on Sasha. Sasha rolled through but Charlotte put on the Figure 8. Becky grabbed Sasha and pulled her out of the ring.
My damn internet went out and took my update with it. Grr. In a nutshell, Charlotte took Sasha out after she hit The Bank Statement on Becky. Charlotte locked on The Figure 8 and Ric Flair grabbed Sasha's leg so Charlotte won.
I liked the finish. Charlotte won, Becky clearly lost and Sasha is clearly the number one contender. It was an excellent, NXT style match. Hopefully the booking will turn around there.
Hell in a Cell is next. So it will not close out the night.
Shano Mac came out first, with his three sons. They all did the Shano dance. It was a cool moment.
They came down to ringside, where Shane handed the boys to his wife and mother.
Taker then came out to a good pop.
They were feeling each other out early, then Taker hit Snake Eyes but Shane then hit an elbow. Taker took him to the floor and went to work on him. He nailed him with a running legdrop off of the apron. Shane took a Last Ride for a two count. Taker told him to stay down. Some in the crowd were chanting Shano Mac. Taker went and got the steps. But as he came in Shane grabbed him and put him in a choke with his legs. Taker leaned on the Triangle and the ref counted two so Shane broke it. Taker popped up when Shane was hitting him and chokeslammed him on the steps for a two count. Taker went for a running elbow but Shane moved and Taker dropped it on the steps. Shane acted like he was done and sat on the steps. He jumped up and DDT's Taker on the steps. He dropped an elbow on him, for a two. Shane then got caught in Hell's Gate. He was fading but he managed to fight back and rolled it over into kind of a Sharpshooter. Taker kicked out.
Shane put Taker in the corner and got a Trashcan to set up for the Van Terminator. He hit it.
Shane got bolt cutters and then cut a part of the fence. Then he nicely put the bolt cutters down and yes, Taker came out and ran Shane through the fence onto the German announce table, while he bouncing on the fence. Taker then started tearing the announce tables apart. He grabbed a monitor and nailed Shane. He took him over and put him on a barricade. He stood over him, lifted up and went for the Tombstone but Shane put him in a Sleeper. Taker then jumped off of the barricade, through the announce table to break the holder.
Shane got up and grabbed a toolbox and hit Taker in the head, in theory at least. Taker used the toolbox again, with the tools flying everywhere. Taker was prone on the table and Shane looked up. You know why. Smartly, Shane grabbed a monitor and nailed Taker again before he went up to the top of the cell. The fans want to see it.
He climbed up to the top. The fans are chanting Please Don't Die. He went for the elbow drop from the top but Taker moved. Shane destroyed the table. Taker said you don't pay me enough to take that. It was sick.
