REPOST FROM 2016: AFTER ALMOST FIVE HOURS (ACTUALLY SEVEN) WE HAVE A WINNER IN THE MAIN EVENT, THE FANS LOVE ROMAN REIGNS (YOU KNEW I WASN'T SERIOUS), THE ROCK WRESTLES, MANIA 33 WILL BE IN APRIL NEXT YEAR, BARON CORBIN DEBUTS AND THEY BOOKED HIM RIGHT, WE NOW KNOW WHO CONTROLS RAW, FIRST WOMEN'S CHAMPION IS, DEAN VS. BROCK PRODUCES A FAMILIAR RESULT, WE NOW KNOW HOW THEY WILL USE AUSTIN, FOLEY AND HBK, NEW DAY VS. THE LEAGUE, WHAT WAS UP WITH THE END OF AJ-Y2J, HOLY HELL THE LADDER MATCH WAS NUTS, DUDLEYS VS. USOS, WE HAVE A NEW WOMEN'S TITLE, TEN DIVA ACTION, KALISTO DEFENDS AGAINST RYBACK - FUL WRESTLEMANIA 32 BLOG

They announced that the League team with be Sheamus, Rusev and ADR.  Barrett is at ringside.

The heels were in control early, working over Xavier.  X has a chance to make the tag when he backdropped ADR out of the ring to the floor.  ADR tagged Sheamus though so that stopped it.  Rusev took Big E out on the floor but X tagged in Kofi, who went to work on Sheamus and Rusev.  Big E came and cleaned house.  Big E did the big spear on Sheamus and Rusev but his legs caught and he landed on his head on the floor.  Woods hit a version of the Coup de Gras to the face of Sheamus which was stiff.  ADR took him out.  The ADR double stomped Kofi to the floor.  X came back and tried to use the tights on Sheamus but big Red powered out.  As X hit the ropes Barrett blasted him with the Bullhammer and Sheamus followed with a Brogue for the win.

It was a solid match but the second finish in a row that made no sense to me and the crowd hated.

After the match, Barrett put over how great they were as a three man unit and no one could beat them.  That brought out...

Shawn Michaels, then Mick Foley, then Steve Austin.  They hit the ring and started beating the hell out of the League.  Yes, three old legends came down and destroyed the guys that just beat the Tag Team Champions.  The fans ate it up.  Then New Day threw Barrett in to get his and the three of them did their spots on Barrett.  

Michaels looked great.  Austin had on a shirt that said Dallas 3:16.  He has put on a few pounds but not to the point where the shirt could have said Austin Now Weighs 3:16.

New Day came and made the legends dance.  Even Austin.  Of course, he then stunned Xavier.  They then drank.

Again, the crowd loved it but man, when you think about it, it was dumb.  Shawn came back, looked great and they used him like that?  And we saw that three old guys are better than seven current guys, including the Tag Champs?  Not how I would book it.

Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose is next.  Damn, that is going early.

Brock was out first, followed by Dean.  Brock went work right away with suplexes.  After the third suplex, Dean went to the floor and got a kendo stick and pounded Brock a bit but quickly ate his fourth and fifth suplex.  The fans were split between the men.  Brock got the cane and broke it in half.  Number 6.  Dean gave him a double thumbs up.  Then 7. Dean went for a cane and Brock stopped him by stomping on him. Then 8.  Dean got up and slapped Brock.  Then threw some forearms.  Then he took number 9.  Dean came back with a nut shot (he learned from Taker) and then hit him with the cane a few times.  Dean did a flying forearm to Brock when he was the flying forearm.  He went for the chainsaw and it didn't start.  Dean used a chair but Brock hit more suplexes, including one where he threw him off of the top turnbuckle.  As Brock went over to get him, Dean fired a fire extinguisher in his face.  Dean came after him with and pasted him.  Then he dropped a Savage Elbow from the top with the chair and got a two count.  Dean punched himself in the face and then went for plunder.  He threw a bunch of chairs in the ring. He went to paste Brock but ate a suplex.  He went for an F5 on the chairs but Dean came out and got a DDT on them, for a two count.  The fans are loving it.  Dean took his shirt off and mocked Lesnar and went down and grabbed the barbed wire bat.  He kissed it and yelled batter up bitch.  He swung but Lesnar ducked it and did a German on the chairs. Then an F5 the chairs, 1-2-3.

The match itself was great and I can't kill them because Ambrose showed "he had fight".  But it would have better for him if he could have showed he could win.  They could have made a new guy.  They didn't.  It's a shame.

They then brought out the Hall Of Famers.  Very cool moment, as usual.
