Countdown to Rebellion

ABC & Leon Slater vs. The Rascalz.

Myron Reed faced off with Slater but Reed then faked him out and tagged out to Trey Miguel.  Slater looked really impressive early with athletic moves.  Ace Austin tagged in but was overwhelmed by The Rascalz and worked over, but kept kicking out of pinfall attempts.  Austin muscled Reed towards the ropes but he escaped and caught Austin with a guillotine legdrop.

Trey Miguel tried to prevent a tag but Slater made it and went for a pescado only to be cut off by Miguel.  The Rascalz hit some great combination moves that peaked with a shooting star press but Slater kicked out again.  There was a "This is awesome" chant.  Slater was worked over in The Rascalz's corner until he finally tagged out to Chris Bey.

ABC turned the tide of battle with some tag team offense.  Austin scored a two count on Reed after a double-team brainbuster.  Reed came back with a double cutter and then nailed an insane dive, soaring over the ring post to the floor, taking out everyone below.  The crowd chanted TNA just as Leon Slater topped that with another tremendous leaping dive.

All six faced off and began brawling.    They went crazy with some more moves until Slater scored the pin after a crazy 630 off the top on Slater.

This was a LOT of fun.

Your winners, Leon Slater & ABC!

Gia Miller interviews First Class, AJ Francis and Rich Swann.  Francis said they had a guest, the Man Boy Mafia.  Swann promised he was going to kick Hendry's ass.

They aired a Josh Alexander vs. Alexander Hammerstone video package.

TNA Digital Media Champion Crazzy Steve vs. Laredo Kid.

Laredo Kid hit some nice offense early on, scoring several two counts.  Steve ripped at the mask to gain the advantage.  He nailed a big cannonball into the corner and yelled at the crowd, asking where their hero is now.

Laredo kept fighting back every time Steve kicked at him, so the champ got frustrated and ripped at the mask again.  Steve used his legs to scissor Laredo's neck and hung upside down.  Laredo came back with a moonsault from the buckles to the floor.  Laredo tossed him into the ring but was caught with a neckbreaker as he advanced.  Steve beat him with right hands and palm strikes.

Steve placed Laredo on the top and again tried to rip the mask off, then bit him.  He went for another cannonball but Kid avoided it and nailed a running lariat.   He drilled him with an enziguiri and a Michinoku Driver for a close two count.

Laredo went to the top but was nailed by Steve.  They battled in the corner.  Steve nailed a big superplex but was too beat to capitalize on the move.    He finally made the cover but Laredo kicked out.  They battled to the top where Laredo nailed a Spanish Fly and scored the pinfall.

Your winner and new Digital Media Champion Laredo Kid!

Good, solid bout.

They aired a video feature on Jordynne Grace vs. Steph De Lander.  Gia Miller interviewed De Lander, noting Matt Cardona will not be in her corner due to injury.  She said Cardona or not, she's going to win and she's going to take the Knockouts Championship.  She hired some help of her own tonight, The Good Hands.

They aired a video package on Full Metal Mayhem.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Spitfire - Jody Threat & Dani Luna with Rancid's Lars Frederiksen vs. Decay - Havok & Rosemary.

Dani Luna started out strong until Rosemary bit her on the face and nailed a running clothesline.  Rosemary nailed the hanging armbreaker on Luna.  She dropped to the floor and got in Lars' face.  He backed off.

Threat tagged in and Spitfire nailed a flurry of offensive tag team maneuvers for a two count.  Luna tagged in and went nose to nose with Havok.  Luna teased she was going to hit the ropes but snatched a side headlock too.  Havok shrugged her off.  Luna charged but couldn't budge her.  Havok smashed her and nailed a DVDR for a two count.

Luna fought back and took down Havok.  She went for a suplex but it was blocked and reversed.   Threat finally made the hot tag and tricked Rosemary into crashing into Havok.  Threat nailed a German suplex on Rosemary but failed doing one to Havok.  Havok missed a charge and went to the floor.  Luna and then Threat nailed dives on her.    They attempted a double suplex on the floor but were shoved into the ring apron.

Threat was tossed back into the ring.  Decay surrounded Luna but again had a communication error.  Threat nailed a flip dive off the top to the floor.   Back in the ring, Havok set up Threat to be speared by Rosemary for a two count.

Threat was nailed while on the top.  Havok went for a superplex.  Threat escaped and went for a sunset flip powerbomb.  Luna assisted and they nailed a double powerbomb.    Luna and Threat double-teamed Rosemary and scored the pin.

Your winners and still TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Spitfire!

Everyone worked hard here.  Spitfire had some really nice unique offensive maneuvers.

Masha Slamovich and Alisha Edwards came out to make it clear they are the next challengers.  Spitfire offered to let them in the ring.

They aired a Moose-Nic Nemeth video package.

Several unnamed supporters of Mustafa Ali came out saying that Jake Something will not be allowed to challenge for the X-Division title.  They took over the ring and said they would sit in the ring until their demands were met.  Cody Deaner came out and said it wasn't their choice, or even his choice.  It was the people's choice.   He asked Vegas if he should let these guys hold up the show.  Vegas yelled NO.  He asked if he should force them out of the ring.  Vegas was behind that.   Deaner took them out and asjed Vegas if they were ready for TNA.  He declared the show was starting.

TNA REBELLION 2024

DJ Ashba came out and performed the national anthem.

TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali vs. Jake Something.

Something showed his power early but Ali avoided a charge.  Ali offered a handshake.  Something wasn't buying it.  Ali drilled him.  Something, angry, steamrolled through him.  Ali fought back but was caught up on the ropes.  Something drilled him with a big kick and went for an over the shoulder powerslam.  Ali escaped and nailed some leg lariats.  Jake came back with a big clothesline that sent Ali upside down.  Ali nailed him and charged but was backdropped to the floor.

Jake followed him to the floor.  Ali tried to escape but Something dove at him.  Ali caught him in a DDT on the floor.  The crowd chanted for Ali.  Ali nailed a rolling neckbreaker.  Something rolled outside to the entrance ramp.  Ali nailed another on the ramp.  Ali waited, hoping for a countout, but Jake made it back in.  Ali drilled him with another DDT and scored a two count.

Ali went for a tornado DDT but was caught and slammed.  Jake went for a move but Ali scored with another DDT for a two count.  Ali went for a leaping rana but Something rolled through and nailed a big powerbomb.  Something placed him in a Torture Rack and dropped down into a backbreaker.  Ali kicked up but immediately dropped down when he stood up.  The crowd chanted for TNA.  Something tried to pull Ali up the ropes but he kicked him low.  Ali's security distracted the referee as the others held down Something.  Ali nailed a 450 splash on the trapped Something but he kicked up, the first time someone has kicked out of that in TNA.

Something made a comeback and wiped out the security with a dive.  Ali dove at him but was walloped out of the air with a big lariat.  Something nailed The Black Hole Slam but Ali put his leg on the rope.  Something had his eyes ripped when he went for a powerbomb.  Ali sent him into the ring post.  Ali used a small package and scored the pin.

Your winner, X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali!

Good match.
