WWE RAW REPORT: A CHAMPION RETURNS . . . AND SO DOES THE ONE YOU WERE EXPECTING, SETH DEFENDS HIS TITLE, RHEA DEFENDS HER TITLE, NIA VERSUS BECKY, AND MORE

Your announcers are Michael Cole and Wade Barrett.

Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are in the ring and Cole says tonight will be a monumental night.  They talk about the two title matches.

Cole mentions the tweet from Triple H and he confirms a former champion is returning tonight.

Match Number One:  Nia Jax versus Becky Lynch

They start off with words for each other and Nia pushes Becky.  Becky with a punch.  NIa mises a punch and Becky goes for a uranage but Nia escapes.  Becky with a back elbow and she comes off the turnbuckles but Nia catches Becky.  Becky escapes a Samoan drop and hits an enzuigiri.  Nia with a slam.  Nia with a splash into the corner.  Nia with an elbow drop and she chokes Becky in the ropes.  Becky with a jaw breaker and kick.  Nia misses a splash into the corner.  Becky with punches and forearms.  Becky with a European uppercut and kick.  Nia catches Becky and puts her in a bear hug.  Becky goes for a sunset flip but Nia stays on her feet.  She misses a leg drop.  Becky with a leg lariat for a near fall.

Becky with a forearm into the corner.  Nia blocks an exploder and sends Becky into the turnbuckles.  Becky with Diamond Dust and a drop kick that sends Nia into the turnbuckles.  Nia sends Becky to the apron and Becky with a forearm.  Becky goes up top and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall.  Becky walks over Nia to go to the turnbuckles.  Becky misses a double stomp and rolls through.  NIa with a Samoan drop for a near fall.  Nia gets Becky up and goes to the turnbuckles.  Becky counters with a sunset flip power bomb, but Nia kicks out and sends Becky into the turnbuckles.  Becky with punches and she goes for DisArmHer but Nia pushes Becky away and hits a shoulder tackle.  Nia with a leg drop for a near fall.

Becky rolls to the apron and Becky kicks Nia in the ropes and hits a round kick.  Becky goes up top and Nia stops her with a forearm.  Nia goes up and sets for a superplex but Becky blocks her.  Becky sends Nia to the mat and Becky with a Molly Go Round for a near fall.  Nia sends Becky throat first into the ropes.  Nia goes to the apron but misses a leg drop on the apron.  Becky with a baseball slide and she tries for a forearm off the apron but Nia with a punch to the midsection.  Nia winds up for a punch but Becky moves and Nia punches the ring post.  Nia with a kick but she misses a cannonball against the ringside barrier.  Becky returns to the ring and Nia gets back in at very close to ten.  

Becky goes to the turnbuckles and hits a leg drop for a near fall.  Becky applies DisArmHer.  Nia counters with a rollup for a near fall.  Becky with a cross arm breaker and Nia rolls over and hits the obligatory one arm sit out power bomb.  Nia gets a near fall.  Nia puts Becky against the turnbuckles for the Bansai Drop but Becky escapes and she goes to the turnbuckles for a super uranage but Nia blocks it.  Nia with a Super Samoan Drop for a near fall.   Nia slams Becky's head into the mat.  Nia goes to the turnbuckles again and Becky sends Nia to the apron.  Becky with European uppercut and a back heel kick.  Becky with forearms and the referee stops her.  Nia with an uppercut as Becky comes off the turnbuckles.

Nia goes to the turnbuckles and hits the Bonsai Drop for the three count.

Winner:  Nia Jax

We take a look back at Nakamura's story time from two weeks ago.

Cody Rhodes walks in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back and Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.

Cody asks the crowd what do they want to talk about.  Cody says he has the honor to be the first to welcome everyone to a special episode of Raw.  People like to talk about their goals and Cody says he is a little stuck.  Cody says he is stuck on Shinsuke Nakamura.  Cody says Nakamura is a force to be reckoned with in the ring.  After his rendition of Twas the Night Before Christmas, he was expecting something more sophisticated.  He is not stuck on what Nakamura said about his family or blinding him with the mist.  Cody says he is stuck because this should be over.  

Cody says he is going to give Nakamura the opportunity to finish it tonight.  He tells Nakamura to being his poison mist and poison words to try to stop Cody from where he is going to be.  He says this stops now.

Nakamura is on the Tron and he tells Cody he never thought it would be this easy to get in his head and become the author of Cody's final chapter.  He says he whispered the plot in his ear.  He says he pushed Cody to the brink.  I blinded you so you could not see the ending.  Your story does not end tonight.  HE says he wants to give the American Nightmare one more week to dream.  Nakamura says he becomes what Cody could never be.  Nakamura finishes his story and closes his book.

Nakamura mists the camera.

Nakamura's music plays while Cody looks around the ring.

We take a look back at the attack by Imperium on Kofi Kingston, and the save by Jey Uso.

We are back and CM Punk will be on Raw next week.

Match Number One:  Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso versus Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci

Vinci and Kofi start things off and they lock up.  Vinci with a hammer lock and wrist lock.  Kofi with an escape and splash for a near fall.  Kofi with an arm bar.  Vinci with a punch and a running cross body.  Vinci kicks Kofi and he connects with a forearm.  Kaiser tags in and he punches Kofi.  Kofi with chops and forearms.  Kaiser with a knee to the midsection.  Kofi gets a boot up but Kaiser blocks it and hits the Nein Punch.  Kaiser kicks Kofi in the corner.  Kofi with a drop kick and Kaiser goes to the floor.  Vinci trips Kofi and Kaiser sends Kofi shoulder first into the ring post.  Vinci tags in and they hit the double drop kick combination.

Vinci hot shots Kofi on the edge of the announce table and rolls Kofi back into the ring.  Kaiser mocks Kofi's clap.  Kofi with punches but Vinci with a knee.  Vinci with a spinebuster and Kaiser tags in.  Kaiser with a running kick to the chest.  Kaiser uses his boots to rake Kofi's eyes and then he taunts Jey.  Kaiser with an Irish whip and a running back elbow.  Kaiser with a kick and a butterfly suplex for a near fall.   Kaiser with a wrist lock and Kofi with punches.  Kofi with a jaw breaker but Kaiser keeps Kofi from making the tag.  Kaiser pulls Kofi down by the hair and Vinci tags in.  Vinci catapults Kofi's throat into the bottom rope and Vinci gets a near fall.  

Vinci with a punch to Kofi .  Kofi with a punch and chop followed by a head butt.  Vinci with a kick.  Vinci comes off the turnbuckles and is met with a drop kick from Kofi.  Both men are down and the referee checks on Vinci.  THe medical staff checks on Kaiser and the referee calls for the bell when Jey tags in.

Winners:  Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston (by referee stoppage)

After the match, the medical staff continues to check on Vinci.

Michael Cole mentions the WWE Holiday Tour over the last week.  We have a video package.

Miz makes his way to the ring for MizTV.

We go to commercial.
