WWE RAW REPORT: A CHAMPION RETURNS . . . AND SO DOES THE ONE YOU WERE EXPECTING, SETH DEFENDS HIS TITLE, RHEA DEFENDS HER TITLE, NIA VERSUS BECKY, AND MORE

We are back with a look at Ivy Nile with a video package.

Ivy says she has always been considered the underdog and she says she loves it.  She says she loves that people doubt her.  That means it makes it so much sweeter when she beats the odds.  She pushes herself every day and it brought her to this point.  When she overthrows Rhea to become the new Women's Champion, everybody will see that this pitbull is a different breed,

We see Ivy in the back with Diamond Mine and Alpha Academy.

Miz wishes everyone a Happy New Year and he welcomes everyone to MizTV.  He says this is going to be good.  He says there are a lot of rumors about the former WWE Champion showing up and he has his speculation, but he wants to bring out his guests.  Miz brings out THE Judgment Day.

The music for THE Judgment Day plays but then it turns into R Truth's music and he makes his way to the ring.

Truth wants to know 'what's up'.  Miz introduces him as the most likable member of THE Judgment Day.

Miz asks Truth where is the rest of the group.

Truth says they were behind him and Miz asks if he is seeing invisible people again.  Truth asks if Little Jimmy is here and Miz says he isn't.

Truth says he has been waiting all year to say All Rise for the Judgment Day.

Miz asks Truth what is his role in THE Judgment Day.

Truth says he has many roles in THE Judgment Day.  Today, he is doing PR work.  Last week, he was doing administrative work.  They have a bad resume so he is trying to make THE Judgment Day likeable to everybody.

JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio come out and JD says this has to end tonight.  He says no one in the group would be seen on MizTV.

Dom starts to talk and the crowd boos.  Dom says they are the most dominant faction in WWE.

Truth says Dom is getting booed in his own home town.   Truth reminds JD of last week's match so JD is not part of THE Judgment Day.  

Miz says Truth made a good point.  Since JD lost last week, the stipulation was loser leaves THE Judgment Day.  He wants to know what JD is doing out here.

Dom asks Miz if he wants to talk about losers.  Dom says Miz spent 2023 on his back getting destroyed by Gunther.  

Miz apologizes and he says 20,000 people are booing Dom and he can't hear Dom even with a microphone.  Miz says he is more relevant than ever.  He keeps going and he continues to make moments that last a lifetime.  Miz says the only thing he remembers about Dom from last year is him being spanked by his daddy, dragged around by Mami, and beaten by CM Punk.

Dom says he is done talking.  They are going to continue Miz' losing streak in a tag match.

Truth wants to know who he is tagging with and Miz reminds Truth that they are a team.  Truth says this is a 'Strange Bedfellows' match and he will follows Dom and team with Miz.  He says THE Judgment Day accepts.

Miz clotheslines JD over the top rope and Dom goes to join JD.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three:  Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh versus Miz and R Truth

The match is joined in progress and Miz with a clothesline.  Truth tags in but he is not in the right corner so the referee disallows it.  JD hits Miz from behind and tags in.  They hit a double back elbow for a near fall.  Miz lands on his feet and he kicks JD.  Miz with a head scissors take down.  Miz wants to tag in Truth.  Miz with a snap mare and kick followed by a leg drop.  JD with a kick and Irish whip but he runs into a back elbow.  Truth with a punch and he tries for a slam.  JD gets to his feet.  Truth with a twisting flying forearm.  Truth with a splash and a splash into the corner.  Truth gets a near fall.  Truth wants to tag in Dom because he is confused.  JD with a forearm and elbow.  Truth is choked in the ropes by JD.  

Dom tags in and hits a 619.  Truth falls to the floor.  Dom with a slingshot senton for a near fall when Truth gets his hand on the ropes.  JD tags in and he hits a suplex for a near fall.  JD chokes Truth in the corner.  Truth with punches but JD with a forearm.  JD with a snap mare and a reverse chin lock.  JD with a reverse chin lock.  Truth punches JD and JD goes for a sleeper but Truth escapes it.  Truth with a sleeper and JD with a jaw breaker.  Miz tags in and he punches JD a few times.  Miz with more punches.  Miz with a punch and kick from the apron to JD followed by a boot to Dom on the apron.  Miz with a springboard clothesline for a near fall.

Truth and Dom are in the same corner.  Miz with an Acid Drop for a near fall.  Miz sends Dom to the floor.  JD with a head butt and Truth wants the tag from JD and JD tags him in but he then realizes he tagged in Truth.   JD and Truth argue over who is in THE Judgment Day.  JD tells Truth to hit Miz if he is in THE Judgment Day.  Truth winds up and he misses Miz and punches JD.  Miz kicks Dom to the floor.  Miz is given JD for a Skull Crushing Finale and the three count.

Winners:  R Truth and Miz

We take a look back at Kayden Carter and Katana Chance winning the Women's Tag Titles.

We take a look at their celebration at CLUB when Chelsea Green and Piper Niven show up.  

Piper tells them not to be comfortable with the titles.  Chelsea says they are going to Nick Aldis for a rematch.

Katana and Kayden say they are willing to go to Pearce for a rematch and then they throw drinks in Chelsea's face.

We have a video package for Rhea Ripley.

Match Number Four:  Ivy Nile versus Rhea Ripley for the Women's Championship

They lock up and Rhea sends Ivy face first into the mat.  Ivy gets Rhea up on her shoulders but Rhea escapes and drop kicks Ivy.  Rhea with an Irish whip and Ivy floats over.  Ivy with a forearm.  Rhea with an Irish whip and she runs into a boot.  Ivy avoids a splash but Ivy is sent to the apron.  Ivy with a forearm and she goes up top for a cross body and she gets a near fall.  Rhea with a thrust kick.  Rhea with some words for Ivy and a forearm to the back.  Rhea with more forearms.  Ivy with a head scissors take down and she avoids a running boot.  Ivy with a t-bone suplex and Rhea goes to the floor.

Rhea charges at Ivy and Ivy drops down so Rhea goes over the top rope to the floor.  Ivy sends Rhea into the apron.  Rhea with punches and forearms on the floor and she gets Ivy on her shoulders and drops her face first onto the apron.  Rhea with a kick to the back.  Rhea with a forearm to the back.  Rhea with more forearms to the lower back as she sends Ivy off the ropes.  Ivy with a punch and jaw breaker.  Rhea with a kick to the head for a near fall.  Rhea with punches to Ivy and a seated abdominal stretch.  Rhea adds a claw to the ribs.  Ivy gets to her feet and she connects with forearms.  Rhea with a drop kick and Ivy falls to the floor.  Rhea gets Ivy on her shoulders again but Ivy gets to her feet and hits a German suplex on the floor.

Ivy gets back in the ring and so does Rhea.  Ivy with kicks to the leg followed by a dragon whip.  Ivy with a head scissors take down and a running thrust kick and a Rough Ryder for a near fall.  Ivy with a front face lock but Rhea with forearms and a knee.  Ivy with a tornado DDT for a near fall.  Ivy goes for a gutwrench but Rhea with a forearm.  Ivy lands on her feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt.  Rhea misses a splash but hits a head butt.  Rhea goes up top for a missile drop kick and she gets a near fall.  Rhea sets for RipTide but Ivy escapes.

Ivy with a round kick to the temple and a gutwrench suplex for a near fall.  Ivy with a front face lock and she gets Rhea on her shoulders.  Rhea escapes and hits a facebuster and clothesline.  Rhea gets Ivy up and sends her face first into the mat for a near fall.  Rhea sends Ivy into the turnbuckles and connects with a shoulder.  Rhea puts Ivy on the turnbuckles and connects with a forearm.  Rhea sets for a superplex but Ivy stops Rhea.  Ivy with forearms on the turnbuckles followed by an attempted sunset flip power bomb but Rhea holds on to the ropes.  Ivy sends Rhea's head into the turnbuckles.  Ivy goes to the ropes for a German superplex for a near fall.  

Ivy with kicks to Rhea followed by forearms and more kicks.  Ivy goes up top for a cross body but Rhea with a head butt and knee.  Rhea with RipTide for the three count.

Winner:  Rhea Ripley (retains championship)

Seth Rollins is in the back to get ready for his match against Drew McIntyre.
