Eve is in the back saying they need to keep Ace's stress to a minimum. So go and do him already Eve. Sheesh, some assistant you are. ... They meet up with Teddy Long. They run him down and Teddy has fun at their expense.
WWE has hired Anarquia. No, that is Hunico. He is with Camacho. It is time for Ryback. Yes, this is the way to end this show. Anyway, Skip ShefBerg is going to kill Camacho. ... Great moment came early when Cole said "look at the strength of Ryback" as he almost dropped Camacho. Ryback wins after doing a weird "my underwear is giving me a wedgie" dance. That is why RyBergs shouldn't wear a thong.
Tony Schiavone gets WWE airtime, but only because they are trying to sell us a Clash Of The Champions DVD. You see, it was WCW's "signature event for over a decade" and they are giving us "over six hours of footage". They ain't much footage for over a decade folks.
It's time for.....I can't say it. WWE creative may think this crapfest is a "main event" but I sure as hell don't. I am just glad that this trainwreck went on last so that if it bombs in the buyrates they can't blame the two title matches. It is NOT THEIR FAULT. It is this crappy final match's fault. ... Ace has a lame outfit on and it has a WWE logo on it. Yeah, someone is gonna buy that. Right. ... God, this is so bad that the announcers are doing the "this is so funny we are fake laughing" bit. ... The finish was totally predictable as Big Show brought Ace back to the ring and once Ace said something to him (you know, you will get your job back) Show KO'd Cena and Ace won. ... Even though unborn fetuses could figure out why Show did what he did, Huey, Dewey and Louie couldn't figure out that Ace offered Show his job back to save his ass. Yep, there is no cure for WWE creative folks. ... As a match, it sucked ass. As a main event of a PPV, it was even worse. This crap shouldn't have even been on Raw. No one wants to see Ace as a focal point of TV so of course they are continuing one of their worst storylines ever. Good luck with that third hour of Raw Vince. Jesus H Criminy. That is all I can say.
In the end, this show had one excellent match in Punk vs. Bryan, one really good match in the Fatal Four Way for the World Title and, well that is it. That isn't to say that other guys didn't work hard because they did, but when the booking infuriates me it's really hard for me to enjoy matches. At a time when WWE is hurting for talent they continue to bury young guys and then wonder why they are not over. As I have said many times tonight, there is no cure for stupid. If you are looking for my replay recommendation it's no, save the money and wait for DVD.
