WWE BOOKS UNUSUAL TAG TEAM MATCH, UNDERTAKER BACK ON THE ROAD AND MORE WWE NOTES

It's back to business as usual for WWE on the road, with all three brands presenting house shows this weekend. Raw has a run of three straight shows starting tonight before their Monday night broadcast, while ECW and Smackdown each have two shows this weekend before their Tuesday night broadcast/taping, with no Monday night house shows opposite Raw during this run.
The Raw brand kicks things off tonight, September 1st, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The brand then moves on to Dothan, Alabama at the Dothan Civic Center on Saturday, September 2nd with the following talent listed as appearing on WWE.com: Edge, John Cena, Triple H, Lita, The Spirit Squad, Kane, Randy Orton, Val Venis, Shelton Benjamin, Johnny Nitro, Melina, The Highlanders, Lance Cade, Trevor Murdoch, Torrie Wilson, Maria, Mickie James, Victoria, Charlie Haas, Eugene, Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estrada.
The Raw crew then runs on Sunday, September 3rd at the Albany Civic Center in Albany, Georgia with the following lineup being advertised locally:
- WWE Champion John Cena vs. Edge.
- Triple H & Ric Flair vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch (wow, there's a match you wouldn't expect).
- Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro vs. Jeff Hardy.
- Kane vs. Umaga.
- World Tag Team Champions The Spirit Squad vs. The Highlanders.
- Chris Masters vs. Harry Smith.
- Candice Michelle & Marisa vs. Mickie James & Melina.
- Val Venis, Charlie Haas & Viscera are also scheduled to appear.
Raw then broadcasts on Monday, September 4th from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Smackdown starts their run on Saturday, September 2nd in Anderson, South Carolina at the Anderson Civic Center with the following lineup being advertised locally:
- World Champion King Booker vs. Batista.
- The Undertaker vs. Mr. Kennedy (Undertaker was just added to the lineup recently).
- Fit Finlay vs. Bobby Lashley.
- Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. KC James & Idol Stevens.
- Tatanka vs. Sylvester Terkay.
- Matt Hardy vs. Gregory Helms.
- MVP vs. Sho Funaki.
- The Miz vs. Chuck Palumbo.
- Kristal, William Regal, Chavo Guerrero and The Great Khali are also listed as appearing.
The Smackdown brand then moves on to Chattanooga, Tennessee for a show at the UTC McKenzie Arena on Sunday, September 3rd.
ECW has a house show on Saturday, September 2nd at the Spartanburg Memorial Hall in Spartanburg, South Carolina with the following lineup advertised locally:
- ECW Champion The Big Show vs. Rob Van Dam.
- Tommy Dreamer vs. Test.
- Sabu vs. Kurt Angle (obviously, this match will be changed).
- The Sandman vs. Justin Credible in a Dueling Canes match.
- The FBI vs. Neikirk & O'Reilly.
- Al Snow vs. Stevie Richards.
- CM Punk vs. Kevin Thorn.
- Francine vs. Kelly in an Extreme Vixen Bikini Contest.
ECW then runs on Sunday, September 3rd at the Greenwood Civic Center in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Smackdown tapes and ECW broadcasts on Tuesday, September 5th from the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, Georgia with Big Show vs. Triple H & Shawn Michaels in a handicap match.
