"Timeless" Toni Storm (AEW Women’s World Champion) (with Mariah May and Luther) vs. Thunder Rosa

Taz leaves commentary to go to the back with Hook and Nigel McGuinness takes his place.

Rosa comes to the ring in a mask, and when she takes it off, she has no face paint on. They start by just tearing into each other with chops and strikes. As they move into the back and forth, their stuff looks stiff, and has a snap to it. Just a few minutes in, this is the best match either one of these women have had in a while.  Rosa’s facials and shouting at Storm as she beats her down is filled with anger and adds a high dimension to the match.

Storm’s selling is both fantastic and in character.

As they move to the final third of the match, Rosa starts selling that her back can’t hold up and Storm starts working on it. Luther is doing a fantastic job as well of reacting to everything in the ring with either joy or fear.

When Mariah May gets the apron, Deonna Purrazzo runs to the rign and they brawl at ringside.

Storm gets a hip attack and a Storm zero for two. Storm then grabs a Texas Cloverleaf. Rosa escapes and gets a rear naked choke. Storm is able to get under the rope. She gets a low kick and then hits another Storm Zero for the pin and the win.

Winner and still Women’s Champion: Toni Storm

The announcers say that nobody can beat Toni Storm.

Will Ospreay vs. Bryan Danielson

Don Callis joins commentary.

The crowd is THUNDEROUSLY loud before the match starts. They have some quick mat wrestling and break clean in the ropes, and the crowd is singing Ospreay’s name so loud it’s hard to hear the announcers. They go back to mat work and when they break, the crowd applauds.

They move to wrestling and counter wrestling mixed with chops and kicks. As they go through this section of the match, Callus starts to talk a little about the cracks in his relationship with Ospreay, but it is easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention.  Osprey starts to go for bigger moves, but Bryan is able to counter those moves and turn things around.

Any time either of them get a big move, this crowd explodes. Bryan is able to cut off Ospreay, and Ospreay is able to escape from any of Bryan’s submission moves. At this point in the match, Ospreay looks exhausted and Bryan’s on his second wind. Then, when Ospreay flips out of a hurricanrana off the top, it really surprises.

Ospreay calls for a kick and Bryan slaps him instead, which causes Ospreay to straight up punch him. From here, Ospreay becomes more vicious with his attacks. Ospreay hits a hidden blade on the floor and Bryan struggles to get in the ring, finally rolling in at 9. Ospreay attacks immediately as Bryan hits the ring and Bryan struggles to kick out. Bryan is able to grab Ospreay’s arm out of the Oz cutter and is able to finally get a LeBell lock in the middle of the ring.

Ospreay has to work to get to the ropes as Bryan grabs both of his arms and butterflies them back.  Bryan lays in a series of kicks and Ospreay grabs him when he tries for the psycho knee. Bryan gets a reversal into a near count and the pace speeds up with near falls. Bryan stomps Ospreay’s head in and tries for another LeBell lock. Ospreay reverses and lays in a series of blows with Bryan grabbing a triangle lock.

Ospreay power bombs him but Bryan keeps the hold locked on. Ospreay is able to get a styles clash but can’t cover. They trade moves and Bryan cuts off the Oz Cutter with a psycho knee. They crawl to their separate corners and face off. When they charge at each other, Ospreay gets a hidden blade, followed by a Tiger Driver 98. Bryan grabs his neck and the ref calls for the doctors, but Ospreay hits the Hidden blade again for the pin and win.

Winner: Will Opsreay.

Sweet holy jumping cats, what a fantastic match.

After the match, Ospreay celebrates and the medical team hits the ring. He then goes over to check on Bryan and the crowd is much quieter as Bryan is being checked on.

The Young Bucks (Nicholas Jackson and Matthew Jackson) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) for the AEW Tag Team Titles in a ladder match

They brawl as the bell rings and when they get to the floor, the Bucks take control. A ladder is brought into the ring and everyone brawls around it in the ring. AND the Bucks are the first ones dropped on ladders. Cash sets up tables at ringside. This leads to more moves using ladders as weapons. The Bucks bring in chairs and Dax is the first one busted open.

Dax is sandwiched in the ladder and they beat the ladder with a chair and then Cash gets a chair tossed at his head. From here, the Bucks beat down FTR and press their advantage. The Bucks set up a ladder bridge and after Cash gets a moonsault off the ladder, the Bucks knock him off the ladder so that he crotches himself on the rungs. They then hit an EVP Trigger on the ladder bridge.

When they return to the ring, dax’s wound is still bleeding freely. Dax grabs a sharp shooter, Cash puts a ladder on Matt's back. Nick and Cash climb the ladder and when they drop to the mat, Cash gets a slingshot power bomb. Matt goes out of the ring through a table. Dax is sent into a table with a hurricanrana from the apron.

All four men climb the ladders when they recover and then knock each other down to the mat to go back to brawling. Ladders are set in the corners, and FTR hits Power and Glory on Nick from the ladders. As they brawl, Dax hits a pile driver on Matt on the ladder bridge. That was a scary looking bump, and the ladder gave way during the move which made it sound extra brutal.

The crowd is chanting Please Be Careful as the spots keep getting brutal. As Dax is alone on the ladder, a masked man comes from the crowd. Security grabs and unmasks him and it’s Jack Perry. This allows Matt to grab the belts.

Winners and NEW AEW Tag Team Champions: The Young Bucks

The commentary team says Jack coming over the rail is trespassing and he is being removed from the building.  I’m sure some people will be happy Jack Perry is back.  I am not in that group.
