LA Knight came out for a promo and Philly WOKE UP for that entrance. They loved playing playing back and forth banter with Knight, yelling YEAH and singing LA KNIGHT as he ripped on AJ Styles and promised to take him out at Wrestlemania. Knight was OVER to a ridiculous degree.
It's time for Jey Uso vs. Solo Sikoa!
The press box here in the Corestate Center is at the top of the venue, so looking down and seeing all the fans in the entire bowl doing their dance with Jey Uso was a hell of a sight. Talk about proof of how much the Bloodline story has worked for everyone involved.
Solo had a long period where he was controlling and beating Jey down but the crowd was just THERE for every Uso offensive maneuver, screaming YEET for every hopeful moment where he could potentially turn the tide. When Solo pulled out his thumb for the spike just TONS of boos live. Jey went for a splash but Jimmy attacked him before there could be a pinfall. Philly became unglued for this.
The fans chanted for Cody and - HIGH DRAMA - his music hit just as Solo was about to hit the spike. Cody and Seth brawl with the Bloodline members and take out Solo and Jimmy. Cody pulls off his weight belt and unloads on them, showing The Rock what's coming for him at Wrestlemania. Jimmy tried to escape but Jey stops him and tosses his brother back into the ring. WHOOP THAT TRICK chants.
Cody hands the belt to Seth and everyone sings his song before he continues the assault. Philly chants for Cody.
The show closed with an epic babyface promo from Cody where he promised that where one story ends on Sunday, a new one begins. He said he was going to slap Rock so hard that he'd remember what being The People's Champion was. He said with his friends, they were going to take out The Bloodline. This was a great MONEY promo to get people energized to see Mania.
Smackdown ended with Philly singing Cody's song as the babyfaces celebrated.
