STING RETIRES AND MORE: COMPLETE AEW REVOLUTION 2024 COVERAGE

It’s SUNDAY!!!!  

That means AEW Revolution live from the legendary Greensboro Coliseum.  

We are live with Revolution Zero Hour.  Renee Paquette and RJ City welcome us and run down the card of tonight’s show.

We see a video presentation telling us about Sting & Darby Allen vs. Nicholas & Matthew Jackson.

Tony Schiavone is with the great David Crockett, one of the truly nicest guys in wrestling, talking about the Greensboro Coliseum.

We are then treated to a Toni Storm vs. Deonna Purrazzo video package. 

We then get a preview of FTR vs. Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli, followed by a package for Konosuke Takeshita vs. Wil Ospreay, followed by the TNT Title match and the Continental Crown Title match.  

Excalibur and Nigel McGuinness are at ringside to call the action for Zero Hour.

Jay White, The Gunn Club, The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn vs Willie Mack, Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Private Party & Satnum Singh

Kassidy and Austin Gunn kick us off, side headlock into a dropkick by Kassidy.

Austin with left jabs. Colton tags in and nails a kneelift.

Quen tags in and he nails shoulderbocks in the corner. Backdrop by Colton.

Caster tags in and body slams Quen.  Bowens tags in and nails Scissor me Timbers.

Lethal chokes Gunn from the corner.

Jarrett tags in and nails a legdrop across the bottom rope.

We get a 7 way Fargo Strutt.

Lethal tags in and hits a clothesline. Mack tags in, then Kassidy.

KAssidy with a side headlock to Gunn.

Kassidy accidentally knocks down Jarrett and Lethal. Bowens tags in and nails a Famouser.

Quen tags in and nails a Lethal Combination for 2.

Singh tags in and nails a big hip toss to Bowens across the ring.

Lethal tags in and gets a delayed vertical suplex.

Jarrett tags in and hits a Russisn leg sweep.

Bowens with a right hand.

Jarrett misses a dive. Bowens with a neckbreaker.

Billy Gunn tags in and cleans house. Mack is the legal man (I think). 

MAck scores a 2 after a Kassidy 450 splash.

Mack misses a frog splash.

White tags in.  Complete chaos ensues.

Singh manhandles all 6 opponents.

Gunn with a Famouser to Singh.

White with a Bladerunner to Mack for the pin.

Hart tags in. Statlander with an armdrag. Willow tags in and nails a splash for 2. Tandem suplexes by Statlander and Willow. Willow scores a 2. Willow slams Hart into the buckles. Belly to back by Statlander and tags Willow in. Snap mare and a PK miss by Willow. Blue tags in and nails a running knee. Blue scores a 2 count. Hart chokes Willow in the corner. Kick by Blue. Blue with a chokeand tags in Hart.

The TBS champion with a chop but Willow nails one of her own. Blue tags in and kicks Willow down in the corner. Small package for 2 by Willow. Blue slams Willow in the corner and tags in Hart, who kicks Willow a few times and tags in Blue.  Stalander gets the tag and nails both with a double back elbow. Running uppercuts by Statlander. Double senton by Statlander for 2. Deadlift German  by Statlander. Hart tagged in and tries Hartless. Statlander toes her up for 2. All 4 women battle it out. Cannonball by Willow and nails Hart with the Stampede. Hart tripe Willow. DVD by Willow for 2

Blue with a superkick to Statlander. Blue tagged in and nails a superkick to Willow for 2.  Willow blocks a DVD and kicks Blue. Dropkick off the middle rope by Willow. Hart and Statlander tag in. Forearms by Hart. Moonsault by Hart for 2, save by Willow. Blue kicks Willow to the floor and then tags in. Double clothesline by Willow and she nails the pounce. Doctor Bomb by Willow to Blue and she scores the pin.

TNT Championship: Christian Cage Killswitch, Nick Wayne and Nick Wayne’s Mom vs. Daniel Garcia

Cage poses to the sellout crowd.  Lockup, they tangle in the corner for the break. Lockup, side headlock and shoulderblock by Garcia. The Patriarchy convene. Lockup, they jostle. Case with a shoulderblock. Cage feigns an injury. Eye pole by Cage and he pounds Garcia in the rope. Kick by Cage. Forearms by Garcia. Neckbreaker by Cage for 2. 

Snap mare and an elbow drop by Cage, he poses to the crowd. Garcia with o=punches. Cage throws him off the floor and dives off the top rope to the floor, nailing Garcia. Both make their way back in. Slaps by the champion.  Killswitch attempt, Garcia blocked it and dives on Cage’s leg. Ankle lock by Garcia. Kick by Cage and he throws DG to the floor. Garcia storms back in but gets tossed again. Cage with a shoulder block. Clothesline on the top rope by Cage. Garcia slumps to the floor. Garcia gets sent into the post.  Wayne tries to attack but gets back dropped by Garcia.

Garcia comes back and they trade punches. Knee strike by Garcia. 10 punches in the corner by Garcia. Dragon screw by Garcia. Sunset for 2 by Garcia. Cage with a kick and he chokes Garcia on the bottom rope. Both are on the floor, Garcia sends Cage into the steps.  Back in the ring, back elbow by Garcia, kneedrop by Cage for 2.  Garcia rolls into a splash and applies the ankle lock.  Belly to back for 2 by Garcia. Cage distracts the ref, Killswitch with a choke slam. Splash by Cage for 2.  Daddy Magic with a save.  MAgix and Killswitch fight to the back. Piledriver fpr 2 by Garcia. Garcia with a rollup for 2. Wayne with a quick stun gun as his mom distracted the ref. Killswitch by the champion for the pin.

Feeling out process. Lockup, Danielson with a chop. Eddie with a missed chop. Kick by Eddie. Missed chop by Eddie, Danielson connects. Fireman takedown by Danieslon for 1.  Leg kicks by Danielson. Eddie with a snap mare and he kicks and chops Danielson. Machine Gunn chops by Danielson. Belly to back by Eddie into a tope suicida. They trade chops on the apton and Eddie hits the post. Suplex off the apron to the floor by Danielson. 

They roll back into the ring. Jont manipulation by Danieslon. Danielson stomps the hand. Shotgun dropkick by Danielson, followed by another. Danielson to the top. Eddie catches him and nails an exploder. DDT by Kingston for 2. Stretch plum. Wristlock by Danielson. Eddie escapes and nails elbows.  Danielson escapes and hits a running dropkick, followed by another. He misses a 3rd. Dragon suplex by Danielson for 2.  Arm wrench by Danielson. Chops by Danielson into a headbutt.

Headbutt by Eddie, running dropkcik by Danielson. Double underhook by Danielson. Danieslon with a stretch surfboard. Eddie makes the ropes. Hammer elbows by Danieslon.  Suplex by Eddie for 2.  Backfist by Eddie for 2. Busaiku knee for 2 by Danielson.

Stomps by Danielson. Kingston blocks an armbar.  Danielson transitions into a triangle.  Eddie powers out. Eddie makes the rope. Danielson looks perplexed. Perhaps he is beginning to respect the champion. Yes kicks by Danielson. Eddie asks for more. Danielson rolls over a Dragon suplex but Eddie nails an Exploder.

Greensboro applauds.  Palm strike exchange, kneelift by Eddie. Strike exchange. Clothesline by Eddie. Powerbomb by Kingston and he scores the pin.

Kingston drinks in the cheers of the fans.  Danielson struggles to his feet. Code of Honor adhered to.
