WWE RAW REPORT: THREE TITLE MATCHES, A LOT OF THINGS SET FOR DAY ONE, THE TRUTH ABOUT THE JUDGMENT DAY, AND MORE

Your announcers are Wade Barrett and Michael Cole.

THE Judgment Day make their way to the ring.

Priest starts things off and welcomes everyone to Raw.  He tells everyone to rise for THE Judgment Day.  

Finn congratulates the Creeds.  They earned it.  They ran the gauntlet to earn the chance to face him and Damian.  It is the biggest match of your career.  Probably the biggest night of your life.  Finn says for them, it is just another night at the office.  You are stepping in the ring with the only two time Undisputed Tag Team Champions.

Rhea tells Ivy Nile that if she runs her mouth again, she will make what she did to Maxxine Dupri pale in comparison to what she will do to you.  They ran 2023 and will continue to run 2024.  

Dom starts to talk but he is booed out but he says THE Judgment Day runs WWE.

R Truth comes out and he says they left him.  He didn't know they were opening the show.  Truth welcomes everyone to Raw.

JD wants to know what is Truth doing out here.

Truth says he is in THE Judgment Day now.  He says the beat down last week was his initiation.  Truth says he is not one to complain, but they crossed the line last week.  All of those licks hurt.  He was hurt physically and emotionally.  He says he knows DP didn't mean it when he said he didn't like him.  Truth says he saw it in his eyes.

JD says if he is worried about getting hurt, then Truth better get out of the ring.

Truth says it looks like everyone is looking for a fight.  Rhea wants to beat up on Ivy.  Finn and DP want to beat up on the Creeds.   Truth says he needs someone to beat up on.

JD gets in Truth's face and Truth says he is looking around at the trees and lights.  There is a lot of animosity between them.  He wants to squash the beef so they can be a happy family.  Truth suggests a Miracle on 34th Street Fight.

JD says that match was already advertised.

Truth says they better get moving since 34th street is far away.

JD says the match is happening in this ring, right now.  JD tells Truth he is not in THE Judgment Day.

Truth says he isn't in if he loses, but if JD loses, he isn't in either.  He says this is a Loser Leaves THE Judgment Day match.

JD says that is not the case but Priest interrupts and says that is a good idea.

JD says Truth will need a miracle to win tonight.

Match Number One:  R Truth versus JD McDonagh (with Dominik Mysterio) in a Nightmare on 34th Street Fight (and the Loser Leaves THE Judgment Day)

Truth with a double leg take down and punches.  JD with a back elbow and knee drop.  JD with a forearm and kick.  JD sends Truth into the turnbuckles and Dom hands JD a candy cane colored kendo stick.  JD misses Truth high and low and Truth with a scissors kick to JD.  Truth takes his belt off and he whips JD in the rear end with it.  JD is sent into a table of cookies.  JD throws a tree at Truth and misses.  Truth with present fu and he sends JD back into the ring.  Truth fist bumps Dom and Dom sends Truth into the ring post.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Truth with a punch and Irish whip.  Truth with a splash into the corner followed by a hip toss for a near fall.  Truth goes to the floor and he pulls out a table.  JD with a drop kick through the ropes to stop Truth.  JD sends Truth back into the ring.  JD kicks Truth in the ribs.  Truth with a thrust kick and Dom trips Truth but Truth falls face first into JD's McDonagh.  Truth sends Dom into the ring steps and a tree.  Truth sprays JD with the fire extinguisher.  Truth sets up the table in the corner.  Truth with punches and a flying shoulder tackle or two.  Truth with a Blue Thunder Bomb and a Five Knuckle Shuffle set up but JD with a kick.  Truth with a jumping leg lariat.  Truth goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle a second time and hits it.  Truth gets JD up or an Attitude Adjustment but JD gets to his feet.  Truth sends JD to the floor.

Truth gets a tree and he hits JD with it but Dom ducks to avoid it.  Truth puts JD on the table and then he goes to the turnbuckles but JD stops Truth.  They fight on the turnbuckles and JD with a head butt to Truth to stop Truth.  JD pulls Truth off the turnbuckles and they fall through the table and Truth gets the three count.

Winner:  R Truth

We go to Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.  Chance says they are under their electric sky and they will become the new tag team champions.  Katana says Piper and Chelsea's time is up.

Nia Jax makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.

We are back and Nia cannot say anything before Becky Lynch's music interrupts.

Becky makes her way to the ring and Nia leaves.

Becky wants to know where Nia is going.  She asks Nia if she has anything to say to her because she can say it to her face.

Nia says as much as she would love to break Becky's face again, she has more important things to deal with.  Nia says she was going to announce that she is entering the Royal Rumble.

Becky says the people don't care that you are here but they care that she is here.  Becky says she came to Des Moines, looking for a fight.

Nia says that they never fought because THEY are afraid of what she would do to Becky.  You are the money maker of this company and if they went one on one, it would end.  You are the size of her leg.  She would literally squash Becky and break her face again.

Becky agrees that she is the money maker because she will fight anyone, any time, and anywhere.  You are afraid of what will happen.  Your entire existence has been on the back of someone else's names.  First it was your cousins, and now it is her.  Your only claim to fame is that you broke the nose of the greatest to ever do it.  You don't want this fight because if it happens, it goes away.  Becky says if you want to prove her wrong, all you have to do is fight here, right here, right now.

Nia calls for a referee.

Nia walks down the aisle and Nia gets on the apron, but then goes back to the floor.  Nia tells Becky that is how badly you want it, so you won't get it.  This will happen on her terms.  Nia says it will happen in her home town, San Diego.  In two weeks, at Day One.  After she breaks Becky's face and she is in the hospital, your daughter is going to cry and asks why are you uglier.  

Nia turns her back and walks to the back and that means that Becky attacks Nia from behind.  

Officials pull Becky off Nia and Nia with a punch to send Becky to the floor.

We take a look at footage from earlier tonight when Kofi Claus showed up.

Kofi walks in the back and he sees Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.  He asks what they want for Christmas.  Kofi gives them a Yeet shirt.

They walk and see The Miz.  

Johnny says they have had their differences but last week was great.  Tommaso says it was awesome.

Jackie shows up and asks Miz what does this match mean for him and that it is his last chance.

Miz says you won't know what Gunther is like until he is at the bottom of the mountain.  The cracks in Imperium are showing and Miz has Gunther on the brink of losing what is most important to him.  Miz tells Jackie to ask the man who won't have to face Miz again if Miz loses, if there is any pressure.

Match Number Two:  Miz versus Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship

They lock up and Gunther with a side head lock take down.  Miz backs Gunther into the ropes and Gunther with a clean break.  They lock up and Gunther with a double leg take down and he goes for a Boston Crab but Miz gets to the ropes.  Gunther with a side head lock.  Gunther misses a chop and Miz with a chop and kicks.  Miz has a kick blocked and Gunther with a chop.  Miz with a single leg take down and he applies a knee bar.  Miz with an Indian Death Lock but Gunther chops Miz.  MIz holds on to the Death Lock and then he connects with forearms.  Miz falls back to the mat while he has the legs tied up.  Gunther gets to the ropes.  Miz kicks Gunther to the floor and Miz misses a drop kick through the ropes and Gunther with a chop.  Gunther with a power bomb onto the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Gunther with a boot to the head.  Gunther with kicks to the chest and he asks Miz to show that his balls really are big.  Gunther with a chop.  Miz with a flying forearm or two but Gunther with a chop and Miz is down.  Gunther with a kick to the back.  Gunther calls Miz a wannabe and a nobody. Gunther kicks Miz and chops him.  Gunther with another chop but Miz chops back.  They go back and forth until Gunther connects with a European uppercut.  Gunther with knees in the corner.  Gunther with an Irish whip and a running chop into the corner.  Gunther with another Irish whip but Miz gets a boot up and hits an Awesome Clothesline.  MIz with a springboard cross body but Gunther catches Miz and puts him on the turnbuckles.  Gunther with a chop and he chokes Miz on the top turnbuckle with his boot.  Miz falls to the floor.

Gunther follows Miz to the floor and misses a chop when Miz ducks and Gunther hurts his hand.  

We go to commercial.
