WWE RAW REPORT: GUNTHER VERSUS GABLE, ARE THE TAG TITLES CURSED, JEY AND SAMI TOGETHER AGAIN?, REMATCHES (NOT THE ONE YOU EXPECTED), AND MORE

We are back with a look at what happened when Kofi Kingston tried to get involved in the Tornado Tag Match earlier tonight.

Drew McIntyre looks for Kofi in the back.

Riddle tells Drew to calm down.  Drew says he is very calm considering the situation.  Drew says he gave Kofi a pass and he will see if Kofi messes up again, he will take care of it.

Kofi apologizes for what happened.  

Riddle says it is cool.  Drew asks if it is cool.  Drew says he accidentally hit Woods with a chair and then the next week you hit Riddle with Trouble in Paradise.  

Kofi asks if that was an accident last week.

Drew says he will be looking to see if there are any more accidents.

Miz is in the ring.

We see what happened at Payback.

Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV.  He says his guest will shine a light on the travesty that happened at Payback.  He says he did not lose.  He was victimized for exposing LA Knight as a fraud.  He brings out a man who will be transparent.

Miz introduces John Cena and his music plays but no one is there or is he there and we can't see him?

Miz tells "Cena" that the people don't like him and he screwed Miz on Saturday.  Miz asks the people if they can see John Cena because he is sitting right there.  Miz says he understands what is going on.  MIz says for the last 18 years, he has been able to see John Cena and see through him.  Miz says he will translate for Cena.

Miz asks Cena if LA Knight paid Cena and purposely screwed him over?  Did you conspire with LA Knight?

Miz tetls the people not to say YEAH or YES, but to nod their heads if they agree.

Miz says LA Knight's victory should be removed from the record after what "Cena" "said".  Miz tells "Cena" to leave the ring.  Miz says when he asks someone to get out of his ring, you get out of his ring.  "Cena" pushes Miz and Miz takes off his jacket while the crowd chants "Holy S***".  Miz gives "Cena" a Skull Crushing Finale.   Miz says there is nothing invisible or imaginary about what happened to him at Payback.  Knight took the easy way out.  He challenges Knight to a one-on-one match with no guest referees.  You will find out whose game it really is.  The chants will end and LA Knight will fade away.  He says this isn't make believe.  This LA Knight fairy tale will come crashing down by Miz.

We have a video package for the Intercontinental Title Match.

Jey Uso walks in the back and he stops to talk to Adam Pearce. 

Adam says some in the locker room aren't excited about him coming to Raw, but there will be trade compensation for Smackdown.

Tommaso Ciampa stops to talk to Adam Pearce and they go into his office to talk.

Match Number Five:  Sami Zayn versus JD McDonagh

The bell rings and JD goes to the floor.  Sami follows and JD gets back in the ring.  Sami with a monkey flip.  Sami with punches followed by a hard Irish whip.  Sami with punches.  JD punches Sami and chops him in the corner.  Sami avoids a chop and he chops JD a few times. Sami with an Irish whip and JD goes over the top rope to the floor.  Sami sends JD back into the ring but JD goes back to the floor and he pulls Sami to the floor and he sends Sami into the apron, announce table, and ring post.  JD with forearms to the chest and he goes to the announce table to pose.  JD with a suplex and he floats over for a near fall.  Sami blocks a suplex and hits a suplex of his own.  JD puts Sami on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex but Sami blocks it.  Sami with punches to the ribs and he knocks JD to the mat.  Sami comes off the turnbuckles and is met with a drop kick.  JD gets a near fall.  JD with a reverse chin lock.  

Sami with punches and he springboards over JD followed by a clothesline.  Sami goes to the turnbuckles to punch JD many times.  Sami with a chop and Irish whip.  Sami with a back body drop.  Sami sets for a Blue Thunder Bomb but JD with elbows.  Sami with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Sami puts JD on the turnbuckles.  JD pushes Sami to the mat and JD misses a move off the turnbuckles but JD rolls through.  Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles and he sets for a Helluva KIck.  Dom pulls JD to the floor to avoid the Helluva Kick.  Sami with a forearm to Dom and he sends Dom into the announce table.  Sami punches Dom many times.  Sami punches JD and sends him into the ring.  Sami punches Dom and JD with a rollup for the three count.

Winner:  JD McDonagh

After the match, Sami attacks Dom and brings him into the ring.  Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles and JD pulls Sami out of the ring to stop him from hitting a Helluva Kick.  JD tells Dom to get out of the ring.  Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles and a Helluva Kick to JD while Dom runs to the back.

We go to what happened when Becky Lynch was interviewed after her win on Saturday and was confronted by NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton.

We look at photos of more former Intercontinental Champions.

We go to commercial.

Dom Mysterio and JD McDonagh walk in the back and Finn asks Damian about JD's win.  

Dom goes over to Jey Uso and Dom says he knows they both come from messed up families with Hall of Fame fathers.  He says he knows what Jey is going through.  Dom says he feels for Jey.  He knows what Jey is going through.  Dom says that Jey comes from a broken family and now he has no family.  No one likes Jey, just like no one liked him.  Then he found Mami and he has a family.  He says he will talk to THE Judgment Day because there are open arms for him.  They know what it is like.  Dom tells Jey to think about it.  Dom thanks Jey for his time and he tells Jey to think about it.

Next week Raquel Rodriguez faces Rhea Ripley for the Women's Championship.  Cody Rhodes will be on Raw next week.

Match Number Seven:  Chad Gable versus Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship

They lock up and Gunther sends Chad to the mat.  They lock up and Gunther with a side head lock and take down.  Gunther with another side head lock take down but Gable with a head scissors.  Gable goes for the ankle but Gunther gets to the ropes.  Chad chops Gunther and Gunther chases after him.  Chad drop kicks Gunther to the floor.  Gunther returns to the ring and Gunther with a kick when Chad wants a Greco Roman knuckle lock.  Gunther with a side head lock take down.  Chad lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt.  Gunther tries a gain and Chad with a series of side head lock take downs.  Gunther with a chop and a Boston Crab.  Chad gets to the ropes to force a break.  Gunther with a kick to the chest.  Gable with a chop and Gunther chops back.  Gunther with kicks to the ribs.  Gunther with a European uppercut.  Chad with forearms and Gunther with a slam and kick to Chad.

Gunther with a boot to the head and Gable goes ot the apron.  Gunther rakes the eyes on the middle rope.  Gable blocks a kick and applies a heel hook with a grapevine in the ropes.  Chad kicks Gunther but Gunther with a boot to the head for a near fall.  Chad punches Gunther and Gunther with a knee and forearm.  Gunther with an elbow to the bridge of the nose.  Chad with a punch and chops.  Gunther with a chop that sends Chad to the mat.  Gunther with another chop that sends Chad to the mat.  Chad pulls down the straps and he chops Gunther and connects with forearms.  Gunther puts Chad on the top turnbuckle and chops him.  Gunther stretches Chad on the turnbuckles and Chad rolls to the floor.  

Gunther goes to the floor and applies a side head lock as he pulls Chad in front of his family.  Gunther with chops and forearms.  Chad with punches and a chop.  Gunther with a back drop driver into the edge of the ringside barrier.  Gunther sends Chad back into the ring and he sets for a suplex but Chad gets to his feet.  Chad tries for a dead lift German suplex but Gunther blocks it and he chops Chad.  Gunther with a knee to the ribs.  Gunther with a chop and Chad with a double thrust to the throat.  Chad avoids a chop and he backs Gunther into the ropes.  Gunther with a chop.  Gunther with a running boot to the head.  Gunther sets for the power bomb and Chad gets to his feet and he tries for an ankle lock but Gunther stays on his feet and he chops Chad.  Chad is able to send himself and Gunther over the top rope when Gunther tries for a power bomb.

Chad with a German suplex on the floor.  Chad sends Gunther back into the ring to beat the count.  Gunther with a power bomb for a near fall.  Gunther goes up top  but Chad stops him and goes to the turnbuckles as well.  Gunther chops Chad off the turnbuckles.  Chad with a superplex and Chad goes up top for a diving head butt for a near fall.  Chad with an ankle lock.  Gunther kicks Chad away to get out of the hold.  Chad goes for Chaos Theory but Gunther blocks it.  Gunther has a sleeper blocked.  Chad with a German suplex.  The straps go up and then they come down.  Chad with Chaos Theory for a near fall.  Chad goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault but Gunther gets his feet up.  Chad with an ankle lock.  Chad with a grapevine of the leg and Chad pulls Gunther into the center of the ring but Gunther with kicks to escape.  Gunther with a sleeper and a body scissors.  

Chad tries to get to his feet with Gunther on his back.  Chad floats over and gets a near fall.  Gunther with a sleeper suplex and a power bomb .  Gunther with a lariat for the three count.

Winner:  Gunther (retains championship)
