WWE RAW REPORT: GUNTHER VERSUS GABLE, ARE THE TAG TITLES CURSED, JEY AND SAMI TOGETHER AGAIN?, REMATCHES (NOT THE ONE YOU EXPECTED), AND MORE

We take a look back at what happened during the cage match between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch.

Zoey Stark is with Jackie Redmond.  

Zoey is asked about her partnership with Trish.  Zoey says she has a lot of respect for Trish.  She proved she is one of the greatest of all time.  She says nobody pushes her.

Shayna Baszler shows up and she asks Zoey when she was going to get rid of the dead weight like she did with Ronda. 

Zoey says they have some unfinished business and we can see who is the baddest woman in WWE.

THE Judgment Day makes its way to the ring.

We are back.  

Damian Priest wants everyone to rise for the group that is dripping gold, THE Judgment Day.  Dom starts to talk and he is booed.  They did exactly what Mami told them to do and they brought home all the gold.  Dom mentions that Rhea defended her title while Damian and Finn won the tag titles.   Finn thanks Dom and he congratulates Dom on his anniversary of joining THE Judgment Day.  Finn thanks Rhea for always being a great voice of reason for the group.  Finn says that he knows that he has had some issues with Damian, but they are the tag team champions.  Finn wants to give a shout out to JD McDonagh for having his back for the last 20 years.  Finn thanks himself on reaching his most recent career milestone by becoming Grand Slam Finn.

Rhea says last week, she gave them an ultimatum and the pressure was on.  You rose to the occasion and showed that you are truly brothers and that they are truly a family.  Rhea says there is one thing that really aggravates her.  She says it is that the focus is not on THE Judgment Day and their accomplishments.  People were talking about Jey Uso and what that meant for the Bloodline.  Rhea says the Bloodline has fallen and THE Judgment Day is the most dominant faction in WWE.  Priest says with all of this gold . . . 

JD McDonagh makes his way to the ring.  

Priest says a small part of him was starting to like him so JD better make this good.

JD says this will be good.  He says he took a bullet for them on Saturday and he would like to explain why he is here tonight.

JD says he is out here because of something that Rhea said.  Big changes were needed in THE Judgment Day.  JD says that briefcase has to go.  He says you don't need it because you have all the gold.  You don't need that briefcase, you need this one.

JD reveals a Senor Money in the Bank briefcase for Priest.

Priest says with this briefcase and all this gold . . . 

Sami Zayn's music interferes and he comes out again.

Sami tells the gentlemen . . . and Dom that they feel good about themselves.  Kevin isn't here tonight and it took all five of you to take the titles from them.  Did you think they would let it slide.  You say you are champions.  He does not see five champions, he sees five giant champion stealing turds.  Sami says if he is to be honest, the one who cost them the championship is in line for a big beating . . . Dom Mysterio.

Sami asks Dom if he has the cajones to do it.  

JD says Dom is not fighting anyone tonight.  He isn't the only one who screwed you on Saturday.  Why not fight him.

Sami says no one deserves a bigger ass kicking than you and you are going to get it tonight.

We take a look at more photos of former Intercontinental Champions.

Gunther speaks in German as he talks about himself.  He says Chad Gable thinks he can step in the way of Gunther and his legacy.  Tonight, history is about to be made.  You do not belong in the history books, but Gunther does.  His history will be told forever and he will go down in history as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in history.

Raquel Rodriguez is with Adam Pearce and she wants to know if they are on the same page and Pearce says he will work on it.

Chelsea Green shows up and she says she does not wait in line behind sasquatches like this.

Pearce mentions that Piper Niven is not medically cleared.

Chelsea says she does not want to talk about the titles being cursed.

Pearce says it might not be the titles that are cursed.

Green says Raquel lost on Saturday and got dominated.  

Pearce says their match tonight is official.

Match Number Three:  Shayna Baszler versus Zoey Stark

They lock up and Shayna with a side head lock take down and Zoey with a head scissors.  Zoey with a drop kick and a side head lock take down.  Shayna escapes and stomps on the arm.  Shayna with an Irish whip and Zoey hits the turnbuckles shoulder first.  Zoey tries to float over but Shayna does not go into the corner.  Shayna with a Kirifuta Clutch but Zoey escapes.  Zoey with a rollup for a near fall.  Zoey kicks Shayna to the floor.   Zoey misses a baseball slide and Shayna with a Kirifuta clutch on the floor.  Shayna eventually releases the hold when Zoey runs her into the announce table.  Zoey with a pescado.  Zoey sends Shayna back into the ring.  Zoey with a slingshot twisting splash for a near fall.   Zoey sends Shayna into the turnbuckles.  Zoey with divorce court and a shoulder in the corner.  Zoey with a hammer lock and she send Shayna shoulder first into the turnbuckles.

Zoey tries to send Shayna into the turnbuckles again but Shayna reverses and sends Zoey shoulder first into the turnbuckles.  Shayna with a double wrist lock.  Zoey with a rollup for a near fall.  Shayna gets a near fall.  Shayna with an arm bar.  Zoey with an arm drag and a back elbow.  Zoey with a thrust kick and clotheslines.  Zoey with a flying back ebow.  Zoey with a German suplex but Shayna sends her to the apron.  Zoey with a kick and a springboard drop kick for a near fall.  Zoey pie faces Shayna and misses a sliding kick.  Shayna with a knee and she gets a near fall.  Zoey with a forearm and back elbow.  Zoey sets for Z360 but Shayna counters.  Shayna goes for the Kirifuta Clutch but Zoey escapes and sends Shayna to the floor with a forearm.  Zoey with a splash off the apron to Shayna on the floor.  

Zoey misses the slingshot twisting splash and Shayna with a Kirifuta Clutch.  Zoey tries to get out of the hold but Shayna gets on Zoey's back.  Shayna takes Zoey ot the mat and Zoey almost gets to the ropes.  Shayna gets Zoey back to the mat and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner:  Shayna Baszler

After the match, Shayna and Zoey talk about how they did better than Trish or Ronda.

We go to THE Judgment Day's clubhouse and Finn asks if it is time to bring JD into the group.  Priest says JD needs to prove himself.  Finn says they might not be champions if not for JD.  He asks Dom and Dom says he is okay with it.  Rhea says we will see what JD does against Zayn tonight.  

Priest and Finn leave and Rhea tells Dom to make sure that everything goes okay with JD.

Match Number Four:  Raquel Rodriguez versus Chelsea Green

The bell rings and Green runs away but Raquel grabs her.  Raquel with a waist lock and she rag dolls Green.  Green wants a time out and then she tries to kick Raquel but Raquel blocks it.  Green kicks Raquel in the injured knee.  Raquel with a boot to Green and a fallaway slam.  Green drops Raquel on the top rope.  Green goes up top and Raquel catches Green on a cross body attempt.  Green gets to her feet and she slaps Raquel.  Raquel with a clothesline and a Tejana Bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Raquel Rodriguez

After the match, Raquel says she talked to Adam Pearce about what Rhea and Dom did at Payback.  She says she is getting a rematch and Dom is no longer a factor because he is barred from ringside.  Raquel tells Rhea she will see her next week for the Women's Title.

Chad Gable says he had a lot of time to think about what led to this moment.  Gunther, you say that people like him don't belong in the history books?  He is already there.  He is an Olympian and he is a former Tag Team Champion.  Tonight, he gets to add to his legacy.  He will prove to everyone, including his family in the front row, that he is more than a tag team specialist.  Your desire to hold on to that title does not match his desire to take it.
