Both Anderson and Fulton looked good. Fulton has a lot of upside but he's early in his journey.

He said that everyone says he's still got it but he doesn't know what to do with it anymore. He said the greatest privilege is to come to the Charlotte Fanfests and to perform since he broke it in Atlanta and worked all the Jim Crockett Promotions towns.

They ended up in the ropes and when they broke clean, Pillman kicked him in the face. They went into a test of strength and then some chain wrestling, which was good. Morton nailed some nice shoulderblocks to take Pillman down and even strutted over him when Brian dropped to the mat during a criss-cross.
Pillman started to show some real aggression, hitting some stiff chops. Morton came back with a series of hiptosses but was caught with a knee. Pillman tossed him to the floor. He worked over Morton on the floor. Pillman continued to control the champ in the ring with punches and stomps. He argued with the referee, saying he was the biggest star in the building.

Morton went for a suplex but Pillman escaped and nailed a chop block to the back of the knee. He snapmared Morton and covered him for a near fall. Your winner and still NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Kerry Morton!
A very good match. From an in-ring perspective, it was one of the stronger Pillman matches I've seen and Morton continues to improve and shine. This was entertaining.
Morton said that Pillman kicked his ass and put over Pillman has something special coming up in the foreseeable future. He said Pillman is going up to the big ball fields. The crowd chanted, "You deserve it." They shook hands and raised each other's arms.
