WWE NXT REPORT: NORTH AMERICAN TITLE MATCH, MORE MATCHES FOR THE BASH, TONY IS BACK, DON'T TRUST A MAN WHO WORE A MASK, AND MORE

Your announcers are Booker T and Vic Joseph.

We begin with a look back at last week's match between Ilja Dragunov and Bron Breakker.to see who would face Carmelo Hayes, but that would not be it for them.

NXT Men's Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams make their way to the ring.

Trick wants to get down to business and he introduces Carmelo Hayes.

Hayes says last week was a miss and Trick says they should have won the match.

Hayes says last week was four on two.  The crowd was chanting for them and they were seconds away from defeating the most dominant team in WWE, THE Judgment Day.  Then the number one contender tried to help him.  

Ilja Dragunov interrupts after his name is mentioned.

Ilja apologizes for putting his nose in Carmelo's business.  Ilja says that Hayes does not understand something.  If Priest had cashed in last week, you would have not only lost the match, but the NXT Championship as well.  Ilja says he was trying to prevent that because he wants to face Hayes at The Great American Bash.  Ilja says that Hayes lost control.

Hayes wants to know how he lost control.  He says he had everything under control.  There is no one as ready for Ilja as him.  He saw the match against Bron and he knows what Ilja is capable of.  He does not know how Ilja keeps up that maniac pace.

Ilja says there is one thing that he does more than anybody else.  He always gives everything.  It means something in the ring and these people feel something.  I will make you feel defeat at The Great American Bash.  

Hayes asks if Ilja thinks he does not feel the weight of this championship or the animosity of the peers in the back.  That he does not feel the criticism of everyone?  He feels everything.  This will be a fight and there is no one more qualified to face him at the Bash than Ilja.  Hayes says he is expecting a long title reign.  He says he is Mr. PLE and he will hit different.

Ilja says you will have to hit different and hit harder than ever before.  If not, the Melo dynasty will fall apart.  It takes a lot of strength and passion to hold the title.  It does not matter how great a champion you feel you are, the most intense man in NXT cannot be controlled. 

Hayes says he will blow out that fire on the 30th.  For one of us it will be champagne but for the other, it will be pain.

Wes Lee is in the back and Mustafa Ali shows up and wants to know what Wes is thinking.  Ali wants to know if Wes is defending the title.

Wes says he was challenged and he accepted.

Ali says he doesn't want to face Dominik at the Bash.

Wes asks Ali if he does not think he can beat Dom.

Ali says he is Dirty Dom for a reason and Rhea will be there.

Ali says he wants to face the greatest North American Champion of all time at the Bash.

Wes says he will be there.

Ali says he will be there and Wes has to win to get there.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see footage of Tony D'Angelo being released from prison and Channing Lorenzo waiting for him.

Channing gives Tony his hat and they hug.  

Match Number One:  Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza versus Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer

Angel and Humberto with drop kicks through the ropes.  Lee is sent into the steps and the match starts.  Carrillo drop kicks Lee off the apron.  Frazer with punches to Garza and Frazer with a sunset flip but Garza rolls through.  Frazer with a running drop kick.  Frazer gets a near fall and applies an arm bar.  Lee tags in and they hit a double hip toss.  Frazer and Lee with kicks to the head and back.  Lee with a chin bar and pulls at the face.  Lee with punches and Garza sends Lee to the mat.  Humberto tags in and he kicks Lee.  Humberto rips at the mask and then he hits a suplex for a near fall.  Carrillo with a punch and Lee with a head scissors.  Frazer tags in and he is tossed by Lee for a drop kick.  Lee sends Frazer over the top rope and Humberto and Angel catch Frazer and send him into Lee.

Garza and Humberto gesture to Leon and Feroz, who made their way to ringside.

Garza tags in and they ht a double face plant on Frazer and Garza gets a near fall.  Garza punches Frazer and then he tags in Carrillo.  Humberto with a leap frog splash onto Frazer in the ropes and he gets a near fall.  Frazer with a punch and Carrillo with forearms.  Frazer uses the ropes to escape Carrillo and get a near fall with an inside cradle.  Humberto knocks Lee off the apron and drop kicks Frazer for a near fall.  Carrillo with a kick and Garza tags in.  They both kick Frazer in the corner.  Garza with a snap mare and he stretches Frazer.  Frazer with a knee but Garza with a clothesline and he applies a single leg crab.  Frazer kicks Garza away but Garza keeps Frazer away from Lee.

Frazer with a jaw breaker but Garza catches Frazer and sends him to the mat and kicks him.  Garza removes his pants and he misses Frazer when he ducks.  Lee tags in and Lee with an Irish whip and a dragon screw.  Humberto with a headstand in the corner and Lee with a super kick.  Lee with a DDT to Garza and he sends Carrillo to the floor.  Lee gets a near fall.  Frazer sends Carrillo to the floor and Carrillo catches Frazer on a baseball slide and he sends Frazer into the announce table.  Garza crotches Lee on the turnbuckles and Carrillo tags in.  They press Lee over their heads on the turnbuckles and then Garza with a moonsault onto Frazer on the floor and Carrillo with a moonsault to Lee for a near fall.  

Carrillo with a knee to Lee and he puts Lee on the turnbuckles.  Lee crotches Carrillo and hits a double stomp.  Garza with a super kick to Lee but Frazer with a spinning side slam to Garza.  Lee with a sit out power bomb to Carrillo for a near fall.  Carrillo with a clothesline to Lee.  Garza tags in and they signal it is over.  Lee with elbows and Frazer with a springboard drop kick to send Garza and Carrillo to the floor.  Frazer with a cross body off the turnbuckles to both.  Garza is sent back into the ring and Lee with an Asai DDT for the three count.

Winners:  Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer

After the match, Carrillo pushes Garza down and says it was his fault and he walks into the crowd.

We return to the Baron Corbin Searching for Himself.  Why couldn't he have been fine with what he had.  He took his past and he burnt all the shields.  Evolve, but to what?  He won't do it as something he is not.  He has to do it as who he is.  He says he will face his future.  Love him or hate him, save your opinions.  He is doing it as him.

We are back with NXT Anonymous filming Booker talking to Roxanne Perez about not worrying about the past.  He tells Roxanne to bring it to Blair Davenport.

Booker wants to know how that got out.

Match Number Two:  Gigi Dolin versus Kiana James

Gigi and Kiana exchange punches.  Kiana sends Gigi into the turnbuckles and she follows with kicks and a shoulder into the corner.  Gigi with punches and kicks.  Gigi with a snap mare but she misses a kick.  Kiana with a rollup for a near fall.  Gigi with a head scissors take down.  Gigi with a drop kick against the ropes and Kiana goes to the floor.  Gigi goes to the apron and she kicks KIana.  GIgi goes for a suplex on the floor but Kiana sends Gigi into the ring post.  Kiana kicks Gigi.  Kiana punches Gigi and she slams Gigi for a near fall.  Kiana with a rear chin lock.  Kiana with kicks but Gigi with punches and kicks followed by a knee and clothesline.  Gigi with a clothesline and bicycle kick.  Gigi misses an STO and Kiana sends Gigi to the mat.  Kiana gets her bag and Gigi pulls it away from her with a kick.  Gigi misses with the bag and the referee takes it from Gigi.  Gigi takes the bag back but Kiana with 401k for the three count.

Winner:  Kiana James

We go to footage from last week of Axiom and Scrypts with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price.  Scrypts says they can be their first match in NXT.  

Axiom tells Scrypts they are not a tag team and he cannot keep doing this because he has a lot he wants to do on his own.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see Ivy Nile taking down the Diamond Mine banners from the training room.

We take a look at Noam Dar's social media.

Eddy Thorpe is with McKenzie Mitchell.

She asks if his win in NXT Underground put him on the map.  Eddy says he thinks he should be in title contention.

Noam, Lash, Jakara, and Oro show up and Noam looks catatonic and they apologize for Noam canceling again.

They give Eddy an autographed photo of Noam and Eddy rips it.

Oro challenges Eddy and officials come out to separate them.

Match Number Three:  Axiom and Scrypts versus Bronco Nima and Lucien Price

Axiom and Nima start things off and Axiom avoids Nima but Nima blocks a sunset flip.  Axiom goes for a triangle but Nima with a slam and a near fall.  Axiom with chops and then he escapes from Nima in the corner.  Nima tosses Axiom into teh corner but Axiom with a kick and arm drag followed by a drop kick.  Scrypts tags in and he flips to avoid Nima.  Scrypts with a wrist lock and Axiom tags in eventually.  Axiom with a wrist lock and Scrypts does not go to the apron.  Scrypts hits Axiom from behind.

Nima with forearms and he tags in Price who punches Axiom.  Nima wants to attack Axiom.  Price with a clothesline into the corner and Nima with a boot for the three count.

Winners:  Bronco Nima and Lucien Price

We go to commercial.
