Taz has joined the announce team and Chris Charton has left.

MJF (AEW World Champion) vs Hiroshi Tanahashi

MJF’s robe reads “New Japan is an Indie.”

MJF mocks Tana’s air guitar. They lock up and Tana knocks MJF down and plays air guitar at him.

THIS CROWD IS INSANELY LOUD.

They run the ropes after MJF gets in a kick, and Tana shoulder tackles MJF to the floor.  MJF then walks toward the back saying he is done. Tana gets the Coward chant going and MJF stops in his tracks and storms back to the ring. MJF gets into the ring and tells the crowd he’s not a coward and shakes Tana’s hand. MJF tries to kick Tana, but Tana grabs his foot and then knocks him into the corner. As Tana charges, MJF pulls the ref in front of him. MJF then grabs a handful of trunks and ladies into Tana in the corner. 

MJF grabs a bear hug from behind. Tana breaks free with elbows. Tana comes off the ropes and MJF hits him with a knee to the midsection and then flips off the crowd. Tana gets a roll up for two.  MJF grabs an abdominal stretch, grabbing the ropes with the ref isn’t looking. The ref finally catches him and Tana gets a hip toss, and then works over MJF, and comes off the ropes with a big elbow.

Tana goes back to working the body of MJF, followed by a slam and then hits a senton off the second rope for two. Tana goes up again and MJF meets him there. Tana knocks MJF down and hits a high fly flow on a standing MJF. Tana whips MJF to the corner and he goes up and over, and then to the other side like Flair, and Tana catches him and tosses him to the mat. Tana goes up and MJF hits the rope to knock Tana down.

MJF meets him on top again and MJF gets the superplex. MJF covers for two. Both men struggle to their feet. MJF tries for a heat seeker, but Tana shoves him off. MJF gets a double underhook shoulder breaker for two. MJF is up and spits on Tana. MJF shouts at him as Tana slowly gets up. MJF head butts him down again. 

Tana starts to fire up and MJF pie faces him. Tana gets up and MJF starts with elbows, but Tana absorbs them. MJF hits an eye poke, but Tana does not go down. Tana is able to get the dragon screw on MJF and then locks in the Texas Cloverleaf. MJF gets to the rope for the break. Tana is able to get a twist and shout, a sling blade and then goes to the top. Tana gets the high fly flow, but MJF gets his knees up. 

Both men struggle to get up. MJF goes to the outside and grabs his belt. He gets in the ring and the ref takes it from him, Tana gets a surprise roll up, but the ref doesn’t see it for a five count, and Tana only gets a two count. MJF nails Tana with the Diamond Ring as the ref’s back is turned and covers for the pin and the win.

Owen Hart Foundation Tournament: CM Punk vs Satoshi Kojima

The boos rain down for Punk as he comes out. So loud it is hard to hear his music, and he drinks it all in. CM Punk chants are heard as well.

They lock up and Punk gets an arm bar. Kojima switches to a side headlock. They break and reset. Punk gets the side headlock this time and brings Kojima to his knees. They get to their feet and break again. They go to the corner where Kojima nails Punk repeatedly and then shoulder tackles him down off the ropes. 

Punk tosses Kojima out of the ring. Punk hits an axe handle from the apron and the brawl on the outside. Kojima breaks the count and then Kojima hits a leg  sweep on the apron. Kojima works over Punk in the ring and Punk is able to hit a leaping kick when Kojima comes off the ropes. Punk slams Kojima and then hits a leg drop. 

They move to fighting in the corner and Punk is able to get the ten blows on top and then covers for two. Punk whips Kojima into the corner where he lays in clotheslines while mocking Kojima. Punk gets a lazy cover for two. Punk lays in chops in the corner.  Punk then moves to stomps in the corner, but misses a splash so that Kojima can hit the machine gun chops. 

Kojima gets a leaping knee and then goes to the top for an elbow drop in the yam bag for two. Kojima hits a series of blows and a DDT. Punk fights free and shoves Kojima to the corner for the high knee. Punk goes to the top and pauses to let the crowd hate him. Punk nails the elbow for two, and he then locks on the anaconda vice. Kojima hits a series of blows to break the hold. 

Punk nails Mongolian chops and lifts Kojima, but Kojima breaks free and hits Mongolia chops of his own followed by a cutter. Kojima tosses the elbow sleeve and tries for the lariat, but Punk turns it into a neck breaker for two. Punk lays in elbows and chops and lifts up Kojima. He tries for the GTS and Kojima catches Punk’s leg and hits a brain buster for two. 

Punk dodges the lariat and hits a kick, followed with a GTS for the pin and the win.

Punk shows respect to Kojima after the match. 

Orange Cassidy (AEW International Champion) vs Zack Sabre Jr. vs Katsuyori Shibata vs Daniel Garcia

The announcers remind us Orange Cassidy has numerous injuries. 

Sabre jacks his jaw at everyone and then meet in the middle of the ring as Cassidy hits the soft kicks. Cassidy then chives the other men into each other. Cassidy gets a quick rollup on Garcia, who shoots him out to the ring. Garcia gets a dragon tamer and Shibata breaks it up. Shibata gets a figure four and Sabre breaks it up, Sabre locks in a hold and Garcia breaks it up. 

Garcia, Sabre and Shibata trade blows and when Garcia does his dance, then drop him. Shibata and Sabre fight with Garcia attacking them both. All four men give high kicks to each other until they all drop. Shibata and Sabre lock in Cobra twists and then they start fights. Garcia and Cassidy get free and lock on rear chinlocks, and all four men break and move to suplexes.

Cassidy ends it with a stundog millionaire and a DDT on Garcia for two. Sabre goes after Cassidy’s injured hand and they are knocked to the floor. Garcia uses the title to nail Shibata for two. Shibata and Garcia fight in the corner and Shibata no sells Garcia’s blows and then lays in his own. He nails Garcia with a drop kick in the corner.

Cassidy and Shibata face off and then sit down across from each other to nail each other with slaps. They work to their feet and Shibata nails kicks to Cassidy. Cassidy gets an Orange Punch, and Shibata is able to fire back. Cassidy hits the beach break for two. Shibata rolls out and Sabre gets into the ring and stomps on Cassidy’s injured hand. Sabre then works over the hand with twists. 

Garcia breaks up Sabre’s submission hold, and Sabre gets rid of Garcia and locks on another twisting submission. Shibata breaks it up and gets a rear naked choke. Sabre dodges the boot, and locks in a roll up, broken up by Garcia. Garcia gets a back slide on Sabre for two and then Shibata gets a kick. Cassidy slides in and grabs the pin on Garcia for the win.

Winner and still AEW International Champion: Orange Cassidy. 

After the match, the three champions trade words and Sabre says he’ll beat them next time. Cassidy and Shibata shake hands.
