We are back and Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.
Cody asks Greensboro what do they want to talk about. He says he knows these grounds and he knows this arena. This is the fabled very first home of STARRCADE. A wonderful memory, a great amount of mutual respect, respect not held by Brock Lesnar who chose not to be here. Cody asks if you heard about the scorpion and the frog. Cody tells the story. He says Brock might be the one hunting. He asks Brock how is his face. He says Brock looks in the mirror and sees a lion. He should also see a black eye and a set of staples. Cody says when he looks in the mirror, he sees the man who did it. The man who beat up the biggest bully in WWE history. Cody says he accepts the challenge.
Cody says he will not go out of bounds for this match. Do you know why Brock is on top and has been on top. Brock is better than 99.99% of the people who come into this ring. At Backlash, Brock was not better than him. Brock called it a cheap win. A wrestling counter to a wrestling move in a wrestling ring. If I had beaten you in 20 seconds, you would still be hunting me. You don't care about titles, you only care about who is the biggest thing on Raw.
Cody says they said Brock was 'The Next Big Thing' and they were right. Eventually, what happens when they just say 'next'? You conquered WWE and this sport. You need to take your busted face and step aside. You are not the big thing any more, you are in my way.
Zoey Stark is in the back and she is talking in the general direction of Nikki Cross.
Candice tells Zoey not to call her a freak.
Zoey asks about the freak.
Candice says not to talk about her family and they can deal with it in the ring next week.
Match Number Five: Raquel Rodriguez versus Chelsea Green (with Sonya Deville)
Sonya tells Chelsea something as the bell rings and Raquel with a boot to the head. Chelsea is sent into the turnbuckles and then Raquel gets Chelsea up for snake eyes but Chelsea escapes and Sonya gets on the apron. Green with a lungblower and stomp into the turnbuckle. Chelsea with a clothesline into the corner followed by an elbow. Green clips Raquel and goes for a sliding clothesline and hits a flatliner for a near fall. Green with elbows to the collarbone and a reverse chin lock. Green with an arm bar and he runs her forearm across the face. Raquel with snake eyes but Green with a drop toe hold and drop kick. Chelsea sets for the Unprettier but Raquel gets Green up and drops Green on the top rope. Raquel with clotheslines.
Raquel misses a right arm clothesline but hits one with a left. Green with a punch but Raquel catches Green and hits a fallaway slam. Raquel with another fallaway slam. Raquel with a third fallaway slam.Raquel with a back senton and she hits the Tejana Bomb for the three count.
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez
After the match Ronda Rousey with a thrust kick and Shayna Baszler with punches.
Ronda gets on the mic and mentions Raquel. She has a question for Raquel. She asks what is she supposed to do with the title. You are supposed to defend it. You will do it with or without Liv and you will get a beating every week.
Ronda holds Raquel for a running knee from Shayna.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Imperium are in the hallway and Gunther shakes hands with someone and walks away.
We see that it is Paul Heyman and he calls Roman.
We go back to Corey and Seth.
Corey asks about the many iterations of Seth Rollins. Corey mentions what Seth has done, including the cash in at Wrestlemania 31. He asks why is this one the best. Seth cackles and he says that this is the fun part. We are in a synergistic situation with the WWE Universe. This is the most authentic version of himself. Corey asks why now. Seth says maybe it is the equity or the hard work. There is some organic relationship where he is not the one forcing the change. The fans are the catalyst for change.
Corey asks why is now the time for a new World Title and why should Seth be the championship. Seth says no one at the top wants to take any risks. They are about protecting themselves instead of pushing the business forward. He wants to do it the way he wants it to be. Corey asks Seth about Roman's title reign.
We will see more next week.
Next week, Brock and Cody will be in the same building. We will have a contract signing for Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus. Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Mystery Guy will face Imperium.
We are back with Apollo Crews saying nothing was handed to him. He is a former US and IC champion. He says you say his name with respect. He says he earned his way back. He never backed down from adversity. He did it in a way that his children can be proud of. He says this is his time.
Match Number Six: Damian Priest and Finn Balor versus Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a Non Title Match
Finn and Sami start things off and they lock up. Finn with a waist lock and he slaps Sami in the head. They lock up and Balor with a wrist lock. Sami with a reversal. Sami takes Finn to the mat. Sami with a hammer lock and Finn tries to escape but Sami holds on to the hammer lock. Finn with a back elbow to escape. Sami with an arm drag and a second one into an arm bar. Priest tags in and he kicks and punches Sami in the corner. Priest with a forearm to the back. Sami escapes and he sends Priest into the turnbuckles and hits an elbow off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Owens tags in and he chops Priest and punches him. Priest with a kick and Owens with an enzuigiri. Owens drops down and Priest goes over the top rope. Owens sends Balor to the floor. Balor holds Priest back to calm him down. Balor tells Dom and Rhea to come to the ringside area.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Priest with a front face lock on Zayn and a forearm to the back. Balor tags in and he sends Zayn into the turnbuckles. Finn with shoulders. Balor with a chop. Balor with an Irish whip and a running chop into the corner. Finn with an Irish whip and Sami with a clothesline. Both men are down. Sami kicks Finn away and Kevin and Priest tag in. Owens with a clothesline to Balor and punches and kicks to Priest. Priest rolls to the floor. Owens follows and clotheslines Priest followed by a back senton. Rhea misses a clothesline on Kevin and Kevin with clotheslines to Finn and Dom. Owens with a super kick to Priest and a cannonball for a near fall. Kevin with a punch and kicks. Dom trips Owens and Priest hits Owens from behind. The referee sends Rhea and Dom to the back. Finn has a fit about what happened to Dom and Rhea.
Priest charges into the corner and Owens with a thrust kick and a second kick that sends both of them to the mat.
Woods attacks Dom on the stage and they fight to the back.
Priest with a rollup for a near fall. Priest with a kick.
Paul Heyman makes his way to the aisle and Priest smiles.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Priest and Owens exchange forearms. Priest punches Owens and then he knocks Sami off the apron with a forearm. Finn sends Sami into the ring steps. Owens clotheslines Finn on the apron. Priest with an elbow into the corner and he tags in Balor who hits a slingshot boot to Owens. Priest kicks Owens from the apron and then he hits a leg drop after a back breaker from Balor for a near fall. Priest puts Owens on the turnbuckles and punches Kevin. Kevin punches back and Priest returns fire. Priest sets for a superplex but Owens blocks it with punches. Priest with punches of his own. Owens with head butts and Priest falls to the mat after an elbow. Owens sets for a swanton and hits it. Sami and Balor want the tag and both are tagged in. Sami with clotheslines to Balor and a double leg take down and punches.
Sami with a springboard leap frog and a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Sami pulls Balor into position while we see Paul on PHONE in AISLE. Sami leaps over Balor and Balor with sling blade. Balor runs into a Blue Thunder Bomb and Sami gets a near fall.
We see Imperium make their way through the crowd to ringside and Balor with a rollup for a near fall. Balor with 1916 for a near fall. Owens breaks up the cover and Priest sets for South of Heaven but Owens escapes. Owens with a kick and stunner to Priest. Balor sends Owens to the floor. Sami with an exploder into the corner followed by a Helluva Kick and Imperium get on the apron to distract the referee. Owens knocks Kaiser and Vinci off the apron. He gets in Gunther's face and Priest with a choke slam to Owens on the apron. Zayn with a flip dive onto Priest. Sami gets back in the ring and Gunther grabs Sami's leg while Kaiser and Vinci distract the referee. Balor with a running drop kick and Coup de Grace for the three count.
