WWE Men's Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn make their way to the ring.
Sami talks about how they heard they will be defending the tag titles at Night of Champions against Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns. That is as big a threat as there is, on paper. They don't see it as a threat. it is a gift because they are getting a chance at revenge on Roman Reigns. Sami says Kevin should have beaten Roman for the Universal Championship. Sami says he should have beaten Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber. Roman has cheated his way through an entire title reign and gone unchecked for so long. They are going to check Roman. This is the problem with Roman. He does not know when to stop. He says they thought their only chance of revenge was to watch the Bloodline crumble and they are getting there. Roman is pushing everyone too hard. It isn't enough for Roman. It is not enough to have the two titles and be champion for one thousand days. He wants the tag titles too. Sami calls Roman a psycho and manipulator and says that Roman can't have them.
THE Judgment Day's music plays and they make their way to the stage, apparently still part of the undefined alliance with the Bloodline.
Kevin says he is happy they came out. He says he is sick of talking about the Bloodline. He says he knows they don't want to hang out later, so let's fight.
Sami calms Kevin down. He says he started out at a ten and he says Kevin is up there. They have problems with the Bloodline, but they don't have issues with THE Judgment Day. Maybe they don't want to fight.
Sami asks the gentlemen and Dom to go ahead.
Damian says Kevin is spot on and he would love to fight. Finn tells Priest to be tranquilo because they are here to talk. Finn says they are here to wish them luck against Solo and Roman. Last week, you said you were done with the Bloodline, but you are back where you started. Damian says, right back being beaten up by Roman. Finn says if by some miracle, you do win, there is going to be a line of superstars waiting for you and the line starts here.
Rhea says in case you didn't remember THE Judgment Day run Raw.
Sami says those are fantastic points, however, Sami says he would love to hear what Dom has to say. Sami says the people love when you talk.
Dom holds up the mic to his mouth and the noise drowns him out.
Kevin says we can't hear him, so let's punch him in the face.
Rhea stands in front of Dom, and Priest punches Sami. The rest of THE Judgment Day attack Kevin and Sami gets a chair to force THE Judgment Day out of the ring.
We are told that Balor and Priest will face Zayn and Owens in a non title match.
Match Number One: Shinsuke Nakamura versus The Miz
Miz offers his hand and Nakamura kicks it away. Nakamura tells Miz to C'MON and Nakamura with a knee and kicks. Nakamura with a sliding kick and a leaping knee drop for a near fall. Nakamura with a knee to the ribs. Nakamura chokes Miz in the corner. Nakamura runs into a boot in the corner. Miz with a kick and he chokes Nakamura in the ropes. Miz with a knee to the back against the ropes. Nakamura sends Miz to the floor and Nakamura with a baseball slide to Miz. Nakamura hangs Miz over the apron and hits a knee lift. Nakamura with a knee drop to the back of the head off the apron. Miz is sent back into the ring. Miz kicks Nakamura from the apron and hits a neck breaker in the ropes and both men go to the floor. Miz with a running boot to Nakamura's head on the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Nakamura with a forearm and knee. Nakamura with another forearm and kicks to the chest. Miz blocks a kick but Nakamura with a drop kick. Miz with an Irish whip but he misses a forearm. Nakamura puts Miz on the turnbuckle and connects with a running knee and he gets a near fall. Miz sets for a Skull Crushing Finale but Nakamura escapes. Miz with an O'Connor roll for a near fall. Nakamura goes for a cross arm breaker but Miz counters and gets a near fall. Miz with a DDT for a near fall. Miz kicks Nakamura in the chest. Nakamura avoids a round kick and he hits an enzuigiri for a near fall. Nakamura sets for a reverse exploder and Miz lands on his feet. Nakamura with a snap mare to counter a Skull Crushing Finale. Miz misses an Awesome Clothesline and gets caught in the ropes. Nakamura with a sliding German suplex and he sets for KInshasa but Miz goes to the apron. Nakamura pulls Miz into the ring but the referee deals with the ring skirt to allow Miz to give Nakamura a thumb to the eye.
Miz with a Skull Crushing Finale and Nakamura gets his foot on the ropes to stop the count. Nakamura with a rollup for a near fall. Nakamura with Kinshasa for the three count.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
We take a look back at the Women's Tag Title Match from Smackdown.
Adam Pearce is in his office with Sonya, Chelsea, and Raquel.
Adam mentions that Liv is injured so even if Raquel wants to defend the titles, the match is postponed.
Chelsea mocks Adam's comments about Liv's injury.
Sonya says when she was in management the champs would surrender their titles.
Raquel says the match won't happen, but she will face Chelsea tonight.
Chelsea says that Raquel will regret this happened.
Gunther walks in the back with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Tozawa walks in the shot and he quickly turns around.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a video package for Seth Rollins, starting with his time in NXT.
Corey is with Seth. Seth thanks Corey for having him and he says they go back a long way. Corey mentions back in 2012 when he wrestled in a tournament to be the first NXT champion. Seth says there was a need for change and to change the industry. Seth says he was able to pave the way and push the industry forward. Corey mentions Seth arriving on the main roster as part of The SHIELD. Corey mentions Seth's betrayal of The SHIELD. Seth says people ask him why did he turn on the SHIELD. He says they beat everyone and at some point, if you want to reach ultimate success, you have to take risk. If he didn't take a chair to Roman's back, what would the future look like?
Ludwig Kaiser gets on the mic and he demands everyone show their gratitude for Gunther.
Gunther looks around and he says perhaps an introduction is due. Gunther says for almost a year he dominated Smackdown as the undefeated and longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of the modern era. From this day forth, he says he shall continue his mission on Raw. No man on Raw has yet been identified to be the next challenger for his great prize or has earned his respect. Soon, one man could earn that. The winner of this battle royal will earn a title match against him at Night of Champions.
Match Number Two: Battle Royal for Number One Contender Spot for the Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions
Riddle takes a shot at Kaiser before entering the ring (will that have any effect on the match later).
The match starts and Corbin sends Tozawa over the top rope to the floor. Lumis clotheslines Corbin over the top rope. Lumis is eliminated by Mace and Mansoor. Lumis adjusts his gloves and then they back into Otis and Chad. Mace is sent over the top rope while Mansoor hangs on the ropes and then falls into Mace's arms but Mace drops Mansoor when Lumis looks at him and Mace runs to the back. JD eliminates Carrillo but Ziggler with a super kick to eliminate JD on a springboard move. Wagner sends Ziggler over the top rope to the floor to eliminate him. JD sends Ziggler into the ring steps many times as referees try to stop him. JD drops the top part of the steps onto Ziggler.
