Edge and Beth Phoenix vs. Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor is starting off hour two. The heels are out first, with Dom joining them. They are not welcome in Montreal. But out come the Copelands and they most certainly are!
The crowd really doesn’t like Dom. FU chants are reigning down as the women start out the match. Dom is getting involved and turning the tide. Beth was taking a beating due to that. She needs to make a tag but Balor wouldn’t let it happen as he crawled under the ring and kept Edge from making the tag. He got in and they had it when Dom tossed Mama brass knuckles to keep the win from happening.
Rhea went for a conchairto on the steps but Beth powered out and hit a Glam Slam on Rhea. Edge did a tope to the floor to take out Dome. Back in the ring The Copelands hit Shatter Machine on Finn to get the win. With Rhea moving on to Charlotte this feud is probably over so it will one interesting to see where they go with those who don’t have dance partners at Mania. Edge and Beth vs. Miz and Maryse?
The crowd went nuts for Edge and Beth after the match. Great stuff, which you would expect from those involved. Dom is good at being a sniveling weasel. He has found his place.
Austin Theory’s US Title is on the line as the Chamber is down again. The champ is out first so he gets Pod 1. Montez Ford got Pod 2. Bronson Reed got Pod 3. Damian Priest gets Pod 4. He is wearing a cool crown,
Johnny Gargano and Seth Rollins will open. Fine by me. Gargano is over in Montreal. Rollins is mega over and being serenaded by the crowd.
Cole said that this the first time these two have faced off in a WWE ring. Graves said that was wild because of all the times the three worked together in Cleveland. I am so glad Vince is gone. The bell rang and a Johnny Wrestling chant started. Love it. Canadian crowds are so much fun.
Theory got a bad draw and was the first one in the pod. He went after Johnny and Graves and Cole talk about their NXT past. Have I mentioned I am glad Vince is not here anymore? Speaking of Vince, Cole just made a veiled reference to someone seeing something in Theory. Love the inside stuff where if you know you know, if not it doesn’t matter.
Theory is now trying to get Johnny to work with him because the fans love Seth. Johnny slugged him so Theory ran and hid in a pod. Seth found him and clobbering ensued from both. Great stuff.
Priest comes in at number 4. He got a few near falls early on. This is really good so far.
The fans agree because right after I typed that we got a This Is Awesome chant.
In at five is Bronson Reed and he came in a clubberin! He did a Samoan Drop on both Johnny and Seth! Awesome! Back suplex on Priest into the chains and then a squash on on the Pod by Reed. He’s a big, bad man. He just blasted Theory into next week.
And here comes Montez. No one has been eliminated yet. Reed thought he would attack Tez but he had other ideas and took the big man down. He went for a People’s Elbow and Reed nuked him. Theory showed some strength and got Reed up, but couldn’t hold him.
I can’t even describe what just happened to Johnny. Glad Rich is on it. This is great stuff!
Montez is going all the way up. SPLASH FROM THE TOP OF THE CHAMBER. HOLY CRAP! He’s a machine.
Four guys went to work on Reed. Montez pinned Reed with a Frog Splash! The fans are doing the hey hey goodbye gimmick on him.
Gargano and Seth are sitting on a pod. They realize they are there together. Time to fight. Seth is getting the better of it. Until Seth went to power bomb him and Johnny rana’d him to the ring onto Priest and Theory. This is great.
Johnny is in Johnny mode, which I love. Priest disagreed and hit a Razor’s Edge and pinned Johnny. Great showing!
Priest is going to work on Seth. But he was playing possum and he set Ford up to nail a blockbuster and pin Priest.
Down to Rollins, Ford and Theory. Rollins and Ford face off. Ford is going nuts on both of them! He laid out Theory and went to the top for the splash but Theory got his knees up.
Theory eliminated Ford. And the fans booed.
It’s now down to Rollins and Theory. Ford id still down in the ring after taking the stomp from Rollins. The refs helped him out of the ring. Ford fell when he got out of the ring. I hope Ford is OK.
Rollins hit the Pedigree. He wants the Stomp but her comes Logan Paul, who took out Rollins. I figured that would happen since they are obviously working at Mania. Stomp by Paul. A Town Down. Theory retains.
Great match, I just hope Ford is OK.
