Jersey J-Cup 2023 Opening Round Match: Alex Shelley vs. Jordan Oliver
The match begins with Shelley going after the arm of Oliver, Oliver gets free and he also works over the arm of Shelley. Shelley uses the ropes to get free and also do some damage to the arm of Oliver, Oliver and Shelley do some chain wrestling until Oliver scores a snap mare takedown on Shelley. Oliver gets Shelley in a headlock and Shelley gets free before dropping Oliver with a shoulder tackle, Shelley keeps Oliver down while getting him in an STF. Oliver eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold, Oliver fights back and Shelley gets him in a modified octopus stretch. Oliver gets free and Shelley catches him in a roll up before attacking his arm again, Oliver gets free and he exchanges a few pin attempts with Shelley. Shelley regains control of the match by attacking the injured arm of Oliver, Oliver gets free and he nails Shelley with a few strikes. Oliver looks for a brain buster and Shelley avoids it before eating a back breaker, Oliver focuses his attack on the back of Shelley. Oliver drops Shelley before landing a knee strike to the back for a near fall, Oliver then drops Shelley with a hard Irish whip into the corner.
Shelley fights back and Oliver drops him with a double chop, Shelley recovers and he knocks Oliver to the arena floor after a failed Cleopatra attempt from Oliver. Shelley then hits Oliver with a diving knee strike from the ring apron, Shelley then smashes the injured arm of Oliver on the edge of the ring before getting him back into the ring. Oliver leaves the ring and Shelley sends Oliver into the crowd after landing a baseball slide drop kick, Shelley also leaves the ring and he attacks Oliver with chops. Oliver avoids a chop from Shelley and Shelley accidentally hits the ring post, Shelley quickly recovers and he sends Oliver into the ring post. Shelley then stomps on the bent arm of Oliver while he was on the hardest part of the ring, Shelley then gets Oliver in the Motor City Stretch. Oliver eventually gets free and he cracks Shelley with forearm strikes followed by discus chops, Oliver gets up and he nails Shelley with more strikes. Oliver catches Shelley in a roll up before knocking him out of the ring with a drop kick, Oliver then hits Shelley with a dive.
Oliver gets Shelley back in the ring before landing a mafia kick in the corner, Oliver goes for a sit out power bomb and Shelley blocks it before attacking the injured arm. Oliver recovers and he nails Shelley with an enziguri, Shelley fights back and Oliver nails him with a super kick followed by multiple Acid Kicks for a near fall. Oliver goes for a tiger suplex and Shelley defends against it, Oliver recovers to hit Shelley with Cleopatra. Shelley fights back and he manages to hit Oliver with a face buster, Shelley then hits Oliver with a super kick followed by a kryptonite krunch for a near fall. Shelley gets Oliver back in the Motor City Stretch and Oliver gets free after a roll up attempt, Oliver and Shelley have a series of reversals that ends with Oliver catching Shelley in a small package for a three count.

Jersey J-Cup 2023 Opening Round Match: Scramble Match - Marcus Mathers vs. Yoya vs. Dante Leon vs. Dyln McKay vs. Cole Radrick vs. Grim Reefer
The match begins with Radrick nailing Leon with a head kick and that starts the massive brawl between everyone, Mathers hits Reefer with a top rope high cross body. Mathers follows up by hitting Reefer with multiple kicks and a springboard moonsault, Radrick hits the ring and he drops Mathers with a rana. Radrick then hits Mathers with a few strikes followed by a sliding forearm strike to the back of the head, Yoya returns and he gets Radrick in an ankle lock. Radrick gets free and Yoya nails him with a rana followed by a basement drop kick, Leon returns to the ring and he nails Yoya with chops. Leon catches a leaping Yoya before landing a knee strike and spinning back suplex for a near fall, McKay returns to the ring and he nails Leon with a ushigoroshi followed by a penalty kick and standing moonsault. McKay goes for a suicide dive and Reefer blocks it by lighting a joint, Mathers returns and he joins McKay in attacking Reefer. Reefer fights back and he takes everybody out with a suicide dive, Mathers then lands a suicide dive of his own.
Leon gets McKay out of the ring after landing a release German suplex, Leon then takes everyone out with a dive. Yoya and Leon do battle on the top rope, Leon gets Yoya off the ropes and Yoya nails him with a leg lariat when he leaps off the ropes. Mathers returns and he nails Leon with a DDT for a near fall, McKay returns to the ring and he hits Mathers with a destroyer to clear the ring. McKay then takes everybody out with a suicide dive, McKay gets Yoya back in the ring to land a shooting star press for a near fall. Mathers then lands a 450 splash on McKay before Leon nails him with a top rope splash, Radrick returns to take two people out with a springboard stunner. Yoya then catches Radrick in a few pin attempts for a few near falls, Radrick then hits Yoya with a knee strike. Yoya then hits Radrick with a poison rana followed by a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Mathers returns and he hits Yoya with a piledriver. Reefer then hits Mathers with a back stabber followed by a piledriver, Reefer goes to the top rope and Leon gets him down with a cutter.
McKay returns and he nails Leon with a tornado DDT, McKay follows up by hitting Leon with a spinning suplex for a near fall. McKay then hits Yoya with a pop up neck breaker, Radrick returns and he hits Mathers with a blue thunder bomb for a near fall. Radrick then hits McKay with a stunner followed a driver for a three count.

Jersey J-Cup 2023 Opening Round Match: Blake Christian vs. Alec Price
The match begins with Christian leaving the ring to avoid Price, Price gets Christian in a front headlock and Christian gets to the ropes. Christian drops Price with a snap mare before raking his boot on his face, Christian gets Price in a headlock and Price gets free before dropping Christian with a shoulder tackle. Christian misses a drop kick before blocking a stomp from Price. Price eventually drops Christian with a head scissors takedown followed by a drop kick, Price follows up by nailing Christian with a knee strike. Christian recovers to hit Price with an enziguri followed by a chop block, Christian stands Price up before landing a European uppercut to his injured knee. Christian then hits a cornered Price with multiple running chops, Price fights back and he nails Christian with a running knee strike. Price goes to the middle rope and Christian kicks him in the head before climbing the ropes, Christian then drops Price knee first on the top turnbuckle before landing a super dragon screw leg whip. Christian traps the injured leg of Price in the ropes while doing further damage to it, Christian keeps Price down while working over his injured leg.
Price fights back and he eventually cracks Christian with an enziguri followed by a series of knee strikes, Price then hits Christian with a middle rope leg drop for a near fall. Christian catches a charging Price to spike him on his injured knee, Christian traps Price on the top rope before landing a springboard 450 splash for a near fall. Price fights back again and Christian attacks his injured knee, Christian then hits Price with a rolling spear before sending him out of the ring. Christian follows up by nailing Price with an Arabian press on the arena floor, Christian gets back in the ring and he knocks Price back to the arena floor. Price avoids a sliding Christian before taking him out with a suicide dive, Price gets Christian back into the ring before landing a head kick. Price follows up with a top rope bulldog on Christian, Christian fights back and Price hits him with a blockbuster for a near fall. Christian fights back again and he nails Price with a few kicks, Christian then hits Price with a 619 followed by a handspring enziguri.
Price recovers and he counters a Christian lionsault with a drop kick, Price then hits Christian with a power bomb followed by a flipping DDT. Christian shoves the ref in front of Price before accidentally colliding into the ref himself, Christian then hits Price with a low blow. Christian then hits Price with a standing Spanish fly for a three count.

Jersey J-Cup 2023 Opening Round Match: Joey Janela vs. Starboy Charlie
The match begins with Charlie attacking the arm of Janela, Janela gets free and he takes Charlie down while working over his arm. Charlie gets Janela in a head scissors and Janela gets free, Janela returns to working over the arm of Charlie. Charlie gets free and he briefly goes back after the arm of Janela until Janela gets to the ropes, Charlie then hits a leaping Janela with an atomic drop followed by a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Charlie gets Janela back down while working over his arm again, Janela gets free and he drops Charlie with an elbow strike. Charlie recovers and he traps Janela in the ropes before getting him in a modified octopus stretch, Charlie goes for a top rope leaping rana and Janela catches him before landing a sit out power bomb. Janela follows up by dropping Charlie back first on the hardest part of the ring, Charlie gets back in the ring and Janela cracks him with a few strikes. Janela gets Charlie back in the ring before landing a brain buster for a near fall, Janela traps Charlie in the ropes while landing more strikes.
Charlie fights back and he knocks Janela out of the ring before landing a drop kick, Charlie then hits Janela with a middle rope moonsault that sends both crashing to the arena floor. Charlie gets Janela back in the ring before landing a top rope high cross body for a near fall, Janela and Charlie then have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Charlie eventually takes Janela down with a Thesz Press followed by a northern lights suplex for a near fall, Charlie sends Janela into the corner with a drop kick. Charlie then hits Janela with a hesitation drop kick, Charlie goes for a Cosmic Swirl and Janela gets his knees up. Janela and Charlie have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Charle ends the exchange by hitting Janela with an enziguri followed by a springboard bulldog. Charlie follows up by dropping Janela with a knee strike, Janela recovers and he exchanges German suplexes with Charlie. Charlie keeps Janela down before landing a Cosmic Swirl for a near fall, Charlie goes to the top rope and Janela follows him up there before landing a superplex followed by a tombstone piledriver for a near fall.
Janela misses a top rope double stomp and Charlie immediately hits him with a DDT, Charlie misses a spinning kick and Janela nails him with a lariat. Janela goes for a Gory Special and Charlie counters to get him in a crossface, Janela gets to the ropes and Charlie nails him with strikes. Charlie goes to the ring apron and Janela nails him with a super kick, Janela then hits Charlie with a package piledriver on the hardest part of the ring followed by a top rope double stomp for a three count.
