Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch make their way to the ring. They are joined by Drew McIntyre.
Sheamus asks if the mic is on this time and he asks if the people can hear him. Sheamus says there are a lot of people who are happy that Drew is standing by his side for the match at War Games considering their history. Sheamus says people question if they trust each other. The twenty year rivalry has created mutual respect and a bond. Sheamus says he asked Drew to be his best man when he got married a few weeks ago. Sheamus says that they want a Brute-y.
Drew says he is feeling a little Brute-y.
Sheamus says when it comes down to it, there is no one he would rather be in the trenches with than Drew. Sheamus asks Drew to be an honorary Brute.
Drew says nobody knows what it is like to be outnumbered by the Bloodline than him. They multiply like rabbits. When the odds are even, that is a different story. If I am going to go to war, I want to go to war with my brother.
Drew and Sheamus shake hands and hug.
Ridge says this is nice and he tells everyone this is FIGHT NIGHT. Butch says at Survivor Series, it is WAR GAMES.
Drew asks who can be the fifth man.
Sheamus says he is going to tell you who the fifth man is.
Sami Zayn interrupts. He says he speaks on behalf of the Bloodline and he says they don’t care who the fifth man is. Sami says they are feeling great and even a little Uce-y about the whole thing. Sami asks if they think they are getting in their heads. Sami is the master strategist. Sami says he does not make a lot of guarantees, but he is putting his name on this one. The Bloodline will win War Games.
Sami says he will run right through Butch and give them a taste of what to expect next Saturday.
Sheamus says he is delighted that Sami is so confident. When you find out who the fifth men is, you are probably going to crap your Uce-y pants. It is the last thing you are going to expect.
We go to commercial.
We see the brackets. The winner of the Ricochet/Ali match has to face Brawn Strowman. The winner of the Zayn/Butch match faces Santos Escobar.
We see footage of Mustafa Ali being told he is cleared but the doctor tells him he advises against it. Ricochet shows up and he says Ali needs to think about his career. Ali says he can breathe and he can fight so he will see him out there.
Match Number One: Ricochet versus Mustafa Ali in a First Round Smackdown World Cup Match
They lock up and Ricochet with a rollup for a near fall. Ricochet with a take down and a jackknife cover for a near fall. Ali with a rollup for a near fall. Ricochet with a waist lock and a leg sweep for a near fall. They lock up and go to a stalemate. Ali with a waist lock out of the corner and Ricochet backs Ali into the corner. Ricochet with an elbow but Ali with a forearm to the back of the head. Ali with punches and he sends Ricochet into the turnbuckles. Ali with an Irish whip and clothesline for a near fall. Ali with a chop and an Irish whip. Ali is sent to the apron and Ricochet with a forearm. Ali with forearms from the apron and Ricochet with a punch to the ribs and a forearm. Ali with a lungblower off the turnbuckles but both men are down. Ricochet rolls to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ricochet kicks Ali in the back. Ricochet with an uppercut. We see footage from the break when Ricochet hit a superplex. Back to live action, Ali with a head scissors that sends Ricochet to the floor. Ali drop kicks Ricochet off the apron. Ali with a kick to send Ricochet back to the floor. Ali with a pescado but Ricochet holds on and rolls through and hits a Michinoku Driver on the floor. Ricochet sends Ali back into the ring and Ricochet goes up top. Ricochet misses a Phoenix Splash and Ali with a Koji Clutch.
Ricochet gets to the ropes to force a break. Ali tries to get Ricochet on his shoulders but Ali has to let him go. Ricochet grabs Ali off the turnbuckles and Ricochet hits a Dragon suplex and clothesline. Ricochet with a quebrada for a near fall. The referee checks on Ali and Ali wants to continue the match. Ricochet misses a knee and Ali with a Victory Bomb for a near fall. Ricochet with a kick to the ribs. Ali with an Irish whip and Ricochet floats over. Ali with a tornado DDT and then he goes up top. Ali misses a 450 splash and Ricochet pulls himself up to the turnbuckles. Ricochet with a shooting star press for the three count.
Winner: Ricochet (advances to face Braun Strowman)
After the match, Ricochet celebrates his victory and then checks on Ali and helps him to the back.
The Usos, Sami, and Solo are in the back. Jey yells at Sami for guaranteeing a victory because they don’t know who the fifth is.
Sami asks Jey if he doesn’t think they are going to win.
Jimmy says they have to be on the same page because Roman is on the way. Jimmy tells Jey and Sami to chill.
Jimmy tells Jey he doesn’t have to worry about Sami. Jimmy says they have to figure out who the fifth member is.
Sami comes back and he talks to Jimmy about what they discussed earlier.
We go to commercial.
We take a look back at the Usos successfully defending the WWE Tag titles last week against the New Day.
She asks them how are they doing now that they don’t have the record any more.
Woods says they know what they had to do to have the record so they are not in the best mood. Kofi says they are disappointed because of what they had to do.
Imperium shows up and Vinci says they still hold the record for being clowns. Kaiser says that The New Day is proof of what is wrong with the dancing and the trombones for the last eight years. It is up to them to restore the honor of the ring.
Woods and Kofi mock Kaiser and then say that Gunther looks like Lurch.
Woods says The Imperium don’t want to handle this the right way, so you can face us when we find a third man.
Gunther accepts the challenge.
Riddick Moss is in the back and Emma shows up and she asks him how his voice is. Moss says he has had trouble talking for the last three weeks because of the Kross Jacket. Tonight is about revenge. He was humiliated.
Emma says she knows how good Moss is and she tells him to take the fight to Kross.
Match Number Two: Riddick Moss versus Karrion Kross (with Scarlett)
Moss with a jumping knee into the corner as the bell rings. Moss with punches and the referee pulls him out of the corner. Moss with more punches and kicks. Moss blocks a kick and punches Kross. Moss with a kick and suplex.. Kross with a punch and Moss with a back elbow. Moss clotheslines Kross over the top rope to the floor. Moss goes to the floor and sends Kross into the ringside barrier. Moss sends Kross back into the rign. Kross with a Tiger suplex and kicks in the corner. Kross chokes Moss in the ropes.
Scarlett slaps Moss when the referee was dealing with Kross. Kross wants Moss to hit him and Moss with forearms. Kross with a knee to the midsection. Moss with a clothesline and a running forearm followed by a running shoulder tackle. Moss with a running shoulder into the corner and a second one. Moss with another shoulder into the corner and a fallaway slam. Kross goes to the floor and Moss follows but Kross gets back into the ring. Moss has some words with Scarlett and Kross with a kick and he sends Moss into the ring post. Kross with the Kross Jacket but Moss backs Kross into the corner and falls back to the mat. Kross releases the hold but locks it back in and Moss taps out.
Winner: Karrion Kross
After the match, Kross takes his time releases the hold and referees come out to do their raptor training to stop Kross.
Emma comes to the ring to check on Moss.
