James Kincaid and Veda Scott are doing commentary tonight.
The Conglomerate (Alpha Zo & D-Rouge & Midas Kreed) vs. ASF & Gringo Loco & Aramis.
I only caught the last few minutes of this, but it was all big spots and great timing from everyone involved. Loco's work over the last year has gotten to the point it's PRISTINELY insane. The Conglomerate hit a ridiculous superkick, then a double stomp/package piledriver combination. Lots of big moonsaults and spots.
Your winners, Arez & Gringo Loco & Aramis!
Everyone showed the other team respect after.
Akira vs. Vinnie Massaro
Akira has taken off on the death match scene over the last year and the story here is that he was trying to show he could be just as good inside the ring against California veteran Massaro. He worked over the arm for some time and controlled the majority of the early chapters of the bout. Massaro worked over Akira but was suplexed over for a two count. Massaro came back with a lariat, which the crowd loved as they rallied him, and followed up with several elbows and uppercuts in the corner. He charged but Akira tried to kick him away. He was caught trying to go for a move and powerbombed down with authority. Massaro and Akira battled. Akira drilled him with a German suplex for a two count, then locked him into a crossface submission while scissoring his body. Massaro made it to the ropes, forcing a break. Akira charged but was dumped over the top to the apron outside. Massaro pulled him back into the ring but landed on his feet and smashed Akira with another slam for a two count. Massaro finally scored the pin with a big driver.
Your winner, Vinnie Massaro!
Fun, snug bout.
Reno Scum vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew
Reno Scum attacked the Crew as they came out to the ring and brawled around ringside. When it settled down, Luster the Legend was worked over for a long time. Luster finally made the comeback and tagged out to Adam. They battled back and forth until defeating Royce Isaacs with the Scum Stomp.
Your winners, Renu Scum!
Solid back and forth tag bout with some good action.
Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Titus Alexander.
Lots of fast paced athletic wrestling early. Alexander was able to duck some kicks on the floor and cut off Bailey, sending him into the ring post. He worked over Alexander in the corner and drilled him down to the mat with forearms. Bailey went for a kick but Alexander caught it and drilled Bailey. Bailey recovered and nailed another kick that sent Alexander down. Bailey unloaded with a series of kicks and a running corkscrew splash. Alexander ducked a roundhouse kick and suplexed him. Bailey sent him up and over but was kicked away. Alxander went for a cutter but it was blocked. A second was not, but Bailey kicked up at two. They continued to go back and forth until Bailey hit an insane springboard moonsault to the floor. The crowd chanted "West Coast."
Alexander came back with a dive and went for a Chaos Theory but it was blocked, Bailey nailed a standing knee strike out of a backflip. He went for a move but was drilled with a dropkick. They went back and forth with some damn good near falls. Bailey hit the Ultimate Weapon but Alexander kicked out at the last second. Alexander nailed a knee strike and drilled him with The Sweet Time Driver to the mat for the pin.
Your winner, Titus Alexander!
The story was that Alexander ended Bailey's undefeated streak here in the promotion. This was a damn good match. Alexander showed a lot of true potential here.
We are now at intermission!
