The story is that AJ has to fight for the injuries just to stay alive. He is compromised so ntohing is easy.
Rich is doing a great job by PBP. I am just watching and appreciating. It's an old school war from two guys who know how to tell that story. Great stuff.
AJ ALMOST had him with a third Styles Clash. It was close.
AJ was going for the forearm when he looked down and saw Damien Priest. He lost his focus and have Edge time to recover and hit the Spear. It cost AJ him the match.
Priest came into the ring after the match. He faced off with Edge and then they smiled. They are together. If AJ had to lose, elevated Priest in the process, if they do it, makes sense. The match itself was excellent, as you would expect.
Tonight's attendance was 77,453. It's lower than last night by a few hundred and it's less than the 200K they wanted but still a great number.
New Day gets on the PPV tonight. Cole is with Byron because Pat Mac is getting ready for his match. This one should be quick with New Day getting revenge. Kofi and Xavier have Big E stuff all over their gear. This should be fairly quick with Ridge eating the pin. Pete Dunne is at ringside. WWE finally did something to irk me but calling him Butch. Kofi almost got a pin with TIP on Ridge but Sheamus pulled him out. The heels won quickly. Oh well. Last night's crowd didn't get ripped off by missing this live. I get that WWE has plans for Sheamus' group but with all the crazy stuff Butch was doing around the ring, they could have had it cost them the match get their heat back on Smackdown.
They paid flash tribute to the Hall Of Fame class but then the music hit and the fans on night two got to see The Undertaker.
And, they appreciated it. I am sure that he did too.
After seeing the look on his face, I know that he did. Good for him, he's a legend and he earned it.
Jimmy from Yellowstone is here. YES! Jimmy rules. Watch Yellowstone on Peacock. You will thank me later.
Pat Mac vs. Austin Theory is next. The video from Pat tells you why he loves the business so much. A lot of people hate him. Not me. The dude could do almost anything. He chose our business. He has my respect.
Vince McMahon came out. He introduced the future Universal Champ Austn Theory. They did a selfie. Cole said he can't be impartial.
Pat is out next. He has White Stripes playing and the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. Dude was an NFL All Pro. He earned it. He is the babyface for sure.
Vince is watching from a chair at the announce table. The fans are behind Pat. He got a burst in and now it's time to sell. Austin is laying the beat down for Vince.
Pat threw Theory to ringside and then put on a headset and did commentary while he beat his ass.
They are going back and forth. For those of you who saw Pat in NXT, you aren't surprised by how good he is.
Pat revesered Theory's finished and rolled him. The crowd is happy. I know some people don't think that Pat should win but yes, he should have. Vince is not happy. Vince is being taunted by Pat. He is teasing he is going to come in. Cue STEVE AUSTIN.
Vince has taken off his shirt. He is in the ring. But is's a set up. Theory attackjed him from behind. Now it's a match. Vince is making it a match and beating on Pat. Oh yeah Austin is coming.
Pat is up. He is going to get you Vince. Theory attacked afgain. Nut busted him.
Vince mocked him and punted a football into his jewels and then pinned him. Cue the music. Vince said turn it off. He told Theory to take it all in and he did. Theory wants a hug. He gets it. Theory's music played. Then the glass breaks and out he comes.
Vince tries to talk to him. Theory pays the price with a stunner. Austin says to Vince you wanna have a beer. Cole even said will this be the one time Vince doesn't eat a Stunner. Vince got to toast for a second and then took an awkward stunner. Vince won't ask you to do what he won't.
Austin saw Pat and called him in the ring for a beer. He let him enjoy it for a while but then Stunned him. Of course. That is what he does. Seriously, it's exactly what they should have done. Fun stuff.
Main event time. Since I don't think this will disappoint I will say it, it's been a great Mania weekend. I can't wait to do my hotline tomorrow.
Since they are both champs, someone has to come out first and it's Roman and the Bloodline.
The fans don't want him to win. Obviously.
Corey is with Cole. Yes! Byron shouldn't be here for this. Let's get some old school Corey!
Since Heyman did the promo for Roman, Brock did one of his own. Brock took off his gloves before the match. This will be a fight. He is pounding Roman early. Lesnar went over to Heyman. He begged for his life, which allowed Roman to spear him through the barricade. He hit another in the ring and Lesnar kicked out at two.
Roman is in control but as Brock got up, he was laughing. Of course he was. Suplex City time. Then Superman time. They are throwing big blows.
Roman missed a Superman and ate an F5 for a two. Roman threw Brock into the ref. He stopped and Roman followed up and pushed Brock into him. Roman then nailed a low blow with the ref down. Heyman gave Roman the belt and he nailed Brock, two count only.
Brock was selling and Roman ran into the Kimura. He needs to get to the ropes but he is far away. Brock's face is a weird color of red. Roman got to the rope. He is telling Heyman that his shoulder is out. Brock went for the F5 but Roman turned it into the Spear. Roman Two Belts!
This was a fight and a good one. To me, it comes down to this. Whoever beats Roman should be someone who gets a rub. Brock doesn't need a rub. And, he may be taking some time off if history is our guide. The fans wanted Brock to win, but it wasn't the right move here. Thanks for reading!
