It's time for the Raw Women's Championship.
Becky Lynch's introduction playing off the THEN.NOW.FOREVER. WWE signature open with the awesome new look, the car driving her in like a celebrity and all the fog was just AWESOME live. She RADIATES, just RADIATES star power.
Bianca Belair's big band entrance was a revived idea from last year's Wrestlemania as this was a concept originally planned for Mania 37 in Tampa but was scrapped the weekend of that show.
By the way, once again, the production team is the unsung heroes of this show and this company...and if any of them want to thank me for the compliment by giving my friend Vladimir a private showing of his documentary, you know, like the company should at least do for the guy, let me know and I'll point you in his direction.
You could feel the energy change live in the Stadium as soon as Becky and Bianca were in the same ring and man, they went all out right out of the gate, playing off the short Summerslam match. That was a lot of fun. In fact, I'd argue this is the best match on the show up until this point. Their chemistry is pretty damn rad. They had some great sequences outside the ring, leading to Bianca suplexing the champ on the floor. Bianca showed her awesome athleticism, scoring so many close near falls on Lynch. This match felt like a Wrestlemania main event, so it's insane to think it went on fourth. Bianca whipping out the 450 splash was great and it looked awesome. What a wonderful near fall. They continued to have an excellent back and forth bout. Becky played her heel role to perfection, almost too great. Bianca went for a KOD but Becky held on to the ropes so Bianca dumped her to the floor instead. That proved to be a mistake as Becky drilled her into the ring post and then hit a Rock Bottom on the steel steps. Bianca almost being counted out was a great dramatic moment as the audience could easily buy that was the finish. When Bianca came out of nowhere to finally score the pin and win the title, it FELT like a Wrestlemania moment. Well done to all involved!
They gave Seth Rollins a choir to sing his song. That was cool way to accentuate and give Seth a different entrance. I think Seth murdered the entire Muppet population to make that jacket!
Seth's opponent is indeed CODY RHODES, complete with American Nightmare nickname and theme song. As we reported, he starts tonight at Wrestlemania. They gave him a massive entrance - dramatic darkness, pyro, you name it. That was one hell of a return for Cody. The crowd was chanting his name before the reveal and it was a massive roar live.
Cody vs. Seth was one hell of a moment and a match. They gave it everything they had and it was equal parts great match and homecoming party for Cody. When he whipped out the Bionic Elbow, that was just brilliance. Seth got his wish - a Wrestlemania moment, but that wish came to haunt him, which is great storytelling if they follow up on it. This was just a fun back and forth match that felt like a fight. In a lot of ways, this was a perfect storm moment for Cody and now we get to see where he goes from here. WWE gave him every element that he built for himself outside of their machine. The real question will be whether they can built and accentuate something they didn't build and make money with it, or will they dilute it with their own vision, which is sadly the fate for a lot of outside characters and ideas that aren't hatched in the WWE nest. But, that's a story for another day. Tonight, Rhodes got to have his best Wrestlemania match ever and made a memory for a lot of fans in the process. Seth and Rhodes both deserve a hell of a lot of credit for that match.
Cody will be at Raw tomorrow.
I guess Twitter can stop arguing about where and when he's going to show up somewhere!
The WWE Hall of Famers are next. It was nice to see that Undertaker moment live. You could just feel the audience losing it when that gong hit. Congrats to all the inductees. Hopefully, the Legacy Wing returns next year in Los Angeles.
Next up was Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey. Big time entrances for both and this was extremely physical from the gate. Charlotte spearing Ronda as she was setting up for beat Flair down was great. This had a nice level of intensity that made this feel a little grittier and more like a fight. Flair hiptossed Ronda into the tree of woe, which was a pretty damn cool spot. She locked on a Boston Crab in the ropes, but Rousey pulled herself up, only to get blasted. Rousey hit her with a Judo Throw off the top for a near fall. Rousey went for the armbar but played to the crowd so Flair slipped out and tried to escape the ring. They went back and forth until Flair was trapped in the anklelock. She fought through and reversed it, which was a nice twist. They went back and forth until Rousey snatched and scissored Flair's leg with a submission. Flair's facial expressions really made all these moments. Some awesome submission wrestling here. They battled to the floor and back again with Flair, obviously spent and irate, telling Rousey this was her belt. This kept going until Flair was shoved into referee Charles Robinson, who was down and out a few seconds later when Flair was tapping to an armbar. Rousey tried to rouse Charles but was drilled in the face and pinned. Damn, damn good match!!!
New Day vs. Holland and Sheamus has been scratched. That's a shame but they are obviously running late and Steve Austin takes precedence. He's to hoping they get to AT LEAST go on the Kickoff Show tomorrow.
Kevin Owens Show. He said that after everything he said, he's sorry for telling the absolute truth about Texas. He went on and on and promised to stun Austin. MONSTER POP for the return of Steve Austin. One thing I noticed immediately is how much COOLER Austin's old Titan Tron video is compared to 99%, if not 100% of all the current videos used for WWE entrances. Might be time to go back to the old style production for those. Austin played to the crowd and then left, retrieving his trusty 3:16 mobile, riding the ATV all the way to the ring.
Owens cut him off and in return, Austin cut a great old school Stone Cold promo, calling him a stupid SOB. Austin's intensity was great. Owens began knocking Texas. Austin gave him the evil, dead stare we've seen him give Vince McMahon and so many others. From a retro perspective, this is pretty damn fun. Austin prompted the crowd to call Owens an "a**hole", which they loved doing. Owens said he had to admit he had lied. He said he wanted to get Austin out here so everyone in the world would talk about his show but the reality is, even though he has a bad back, he's looking for a fight.
Owens challenged Austin to a match. He ran down all of Austin's past injuries and said he was run down when he was retired but Owens was challenging him to a No Holds Barred match. Austin said he had his first match in Dallas and could have his last in Dallas. He asked the audience if they wanted him to have his last match against Owens.
HELL YEAH.
Austin caled for a ref. Here we go!
We had reported WWE hoped to have Austin do a "farewell" match and well, they got it!
They brawled, Austin stomped Owens. He tossed Owens hard into the buckles. He drank a beer. Owens was stomped more. He was tossed to the floor. Austin chased a retreating Owens. He tossed Owens into the barricades and clotheslined him. He worked over Kevin until being cut off and run into the ring post. Owens beat him with some of the set pieces of the KO Show and rained down with right hands on the floor. Owens pulled out a table. He went to toss Austin into it but Steve reversed and sent Owens through it on the floor.
Owens was tossed into the crowd, where they kept battling. Owens reversed a suplex attempt and suplexed Austin on the concrete. They battled back to the ringside area and Owens was slammed on the announcer's table. He continued to drink beer and beat Owens. They battled to the stage, where Owens took some big bumps. Owens was hit and rolled down the ramp towards the ring.
Austin drank a few beers but Owens kicked and stunned him. Dallas lost their minds. Austin kicked up at the last second. Owens went to nail him with chair but Austin ducked and Owens smashed himself. STUNNER.

Austin celebrated as only he does and stunned Owens again. Owens was dragged off by Texas authorities? Are they putting him in a cell with The Mountie?
Austin saluted the crowd. He kept calling for beers. Byron Saxton excitedly got into the ring and well, he ate a stunner too, because what the hell!
Well, that was Stone Cold: One Night Stand and it was pretty damn entertaining.
Kevin Owens should be applauded for all he did to make this work and Austin didn't come to coast, either. He put in the work and it was something cool to see. A heck of a spectacle to close the show. I really enjoyed this and it was a nice way for Austin to run the bases one last time.
