Lucha Rules: Team Bandido (ASF & Bandido & Laredo Kid) vs. Team Gringo (Arez & Demonic Flamita & Gringo Loco)

Bandido and Loco started off, going back and forth.  Flamita and ASF had some nice exchanges.  Flamita teased a dive off top then dropped down and kicked him in the face instead.  Yep, that will work.  Team Gringo worked over ASF.  Flamita and Arez hit double stereo moonsaults to the floor.  Gringo worked over ASF in the ring.

Team Gringo worked ASF on the floor and tossed him over the ropes INTO THE RING.  ASF hit a rana on Gringo but was caught with a big sit-down powerbomb by Flamita.  Team Bandido came back with triple spins into ranas.  Team Gringo avoided stereo missile dropkicks.  Lots of crazy sequences and near falls.  Flamita and Bandido took it to each other with some STIFF shots.  Flamita superkicked the hell out of Bandido.  He nailed a big Michinoku Driver for a two count and then a 450 splash for another.

Arez came back with some big kicks and a springboard moonsault but ASF broke it up.  ASF hit a big suplex and a doublestomp fo a two count.  Gringo slammed him with authority.  Bandido broke up the pinfall.  The crowd chanted for him.  He and Gringo began chopping each other.  ASF and Flamita faced off.  They did a double decker chicken fight into ASF hitting a Destroyer down to the ring on Arez.  Everyone battled and was down.  The crowd lost their minds adnd chanted for GCW.

The insanity continued with some insane dives.   Arez and Flamita battled back and forth.  Bandido hit perhaps the most insane springboard flip dive in terms of height I've ever seen.  Gringo and ASF battled on the top.  Gringo went for a move but ASF slipped and wasn't in position for it.  Gringo recovered and nailed a nasty piledriver for the pin.

Your winners, Team Gringo!

One of the most insane, fun lucha matches I've ever seen live...and I've attended all the AAA shows in NYC.

All six celebrated in the ring.  There were fans throwing money at them.  Well deserved.

Blake Christian came out and said things happen that we cannot control, so Jonathan Gresham is not here.  He told ROH to call him because he wants his f***ing title shot.  He said he came all the way here to fight in NYC at the Hammerstein Ballroom.  He said he's here to fight and there's one guy who's given him the best matches he's ever had in GCW.  He demanded to face him now.

Out came Lio Rush.

Lio Rush vs. Blake Christian.

They went back and forth with neither getting the advantage before facing off.  It happened a second time.  Christian told him to give him a fight.  They went back and forth.  Lio went to the floor, asking for time out.  Lio faked him out and nailed an awesome kick to the face.    Rush nailed a crazy tope suicida to the floor.  Christian hit one in response.

Christian worked over Lio.  Lio fought back but was tied up on the mat.    Lio came back with a nice spear that flipped Christian inside out.  Rush nailed a kick and another spear.  Rush nailed a Jackhammer variation for a two count.  Rush went to the top but was nailed with a kick to the face and a head scissors, bringing him back to the ring.  Christian nailed a springboard into a bulldog for a two count.  Rush drilled him with a kick.  He went for a springboard move but was kicked in the head.  Christian nailed a beautiful 450 splash for a two count.

Rush came back with a big frog splash for a two count.    They battled on the apron, teasing German suplexes and sunset flip powerbombs.  Christian went for the Fosberry Flop to the floor but was caught and they battled until Christian nailed a tombstone on the floor.  Christian tossed him back in and scored a three count with another 450 splash.

Your winner, Blake Christian!

The building chanted for Lio.

Matt Cardona (with Chelsea Green) vs. Joey Janela.

Mike Kehner is reffing this one, another ECW nod.

Cardona and Green came out to Enter Sandman, mocking the Sandman, ECW and the fans.  Yeah, that'll piss off the Hammerstein Ballroom.    He wore a flannel that read "F*** Mick Foley."

Cardona took the mic and said everyone in the crowd and the boys in the back are ungrateful because the only reason the show is sold out, is because of them.  He put GCW on the map, not EFFY, not Nick Gage and certainly not Joey Janela.  He said he was going to end Janela's career before Tony Khan can tell him he's fired.

Ryder hit the Rough Ryder at the bell for a two count.  Cardona went under the ring and pulled out a door, setting it up in the corner.  They battled back and forth until Janela hit a DVDR through it.  Janela worked him over with chops.  He worked over Cardona in the ropes with punches, then hit a dive to the floor in the aisle.  Cardona came back with a flip over the ropes to the floor.

The crowd was all over Green, chanting, "She f'd Joey."  Janela nailed a chair across the back.   He placed Cardona in a chair and went for a flip dive off the top but Cardona moved and Joey crashed and burned.  Cardona ripped off his shirt like Hogan and tossed it in the crowd.   Tony Lewis must be out there as it was tossed back.

Cardona went to nail him with the chair but Green stopped him and nutshotted her husband.  She told Janela to go to the top so he did but she tripped him and he crotched himself on the top.  Cardona pulled out a cup.  It was all a ruse!!!  He nailed the running boot in the corner with a chair on Janela for a two count.  The crowd heat for this is insane.

Cardona went to the top but Janela nailed him and executed a big superplex.  They recovered and Janela cleaned house.  He went to hit Cardona with the Internet title but Smart Mark Sterling came out and said that as Cardona's lawyer, he was telling Janela if he used Matt's property, he would be DQ'd.  He said they had a VIP guest and introduced "VINCE."

They really played "No Chance in Hell" and out came someone in a Vince Mask ...IT WAS VIRGIL.  Yes, really.  Cardona used this to roll up Janela for a two count.  Sterling hit the ring but Cardona accidentally nailed him with the belt.  Joey nailed him for a two count.  Janela nailed a DVDR outside on the apron.  Swoggle came out from under the ring, bit Janela on the rear end and tossed him into the ring post.

Swoggle entered the ring but was followed GCW regular Sam Stackhouse.  Swoggle tried to battle him but it didn't go well.  Stackhouse hit a moonsault off the ropes but Swoggle moved.  What is happening?  Marko Stunt hit the ring and confronted Swoggle, nailing him with a flung chair to the face.  Cardona grabbed Stunt and nailed an inverted DDT.  Janela DDT'd Cardona and hit a Raven pose.  Stunt worked over Swoggle with the chair and set up a door across several chairs.  He nailed a double stomp through the door.

Janela hit a flying elbowt through a table on the floor.  Green nailed Stunt with the title belt and a Canadian Destroyer.  Janela hit the ring and went to piledrive her but Cardona nailed him with a chair to the back.  Cardona nailed a DVDR through a chair for a two count.  Janela is still fighting.  The crowd chanted for him.  Cardona was bleeding from above his eye.

Cardona brought another door into the ring.  He tols Janela F YOU and went to grab another door.    He set it up but Janela drilled him with a chair to the shoulder, neck and head.  Green began caning Janela.  Janela pulled himself up and grabbed the cane.  He piledrove Green.  All of this seems strangely familiar!

Someone dressed like Edge at One Night Stand at 2006  thit the ring and speared Janela through a door.  It was Brian Myers.  Cardona nailed his finisher and scored the pin.

Your winner, Matt Cardona!

Fans began throwing a ton of trash.  MASSIVE heat.

Out came Shawn Waltman to a version of a DX theme.  He wiped out Myers and Cardona.   They escaped a Bronco Buster, living to fight another day.  Waltman helped up Janela and they embraced.
