The Falls Count Anywhere bout is next. This was a sprint with lots of brawling, chairs being flung and talents getting caught with big move after big move. Jungle Boy got to shine a bit against both Young Bucks at once. Every time someone had momentum, they were taken out and it went back and forth. JB went for a trio of dives but on the third he was drilled with a trash can in mid-air.
Cole got smashed rudely into a chair on the floor by Jurassic Express and came up bleeding. Tables and chairs were brought into the ring. Christian was going to let JB hit a Conchairto but he hesitated, allowing the Bucks to rescue theur partner. Nick Jackson and Christian battled towards the stage. I hope they are heading for First Avenue!
They went for a series of big table spots including Matt Jackson putting Luchasaurus through a table with a flying elbow and JB hitting a rana off the apron through a table on Cole. Cage and Nick battled to an upper level in the Arena and hit a flying bodypress on Jackson and some lackeys.
They broughts tacks into the equation, which got an ECW chant. ECW did tacks once that I can think of, FYI. They poured them in JB's mouth and superkicked him. Cage saved him from being pinned. Now, a ladder is in the ring. Can we get a kayak next? Cole and Nick Jackson were slammed on the ladder by Luchasaurus.
Matt Jackson ended up in a STF on the stage but Cole saved him. Lots of spots teasing someone going off the stage but low blows prevent them. No babies being made tonight folks. Matt nailed a tope con hilo off the stage on Luchasaurus. Cage tried to spear Cole on the stage but was superkicked. Cole nailed Panama Sunrise off the girders of the entrance stage. Just a war of attrition.
Cole gave the Bucks thumb-tack enhanced kneepads. All three put them on and hit the BTE Trigger on him but JB saved him. This is going on and on, back and forth. The crowd is loving it. Luchasaurus hit a shooting star press off the stage onto everyone on the floor, which was ridiculously nuts.
It came down to another Conchairto on Nick Jackson but this time JB was willing to do it and drilled him for the pin. It was meant to be a moment of ascension for JB, who's one of the long-term projects here. In that regard it worked, as he was the star of his team for sure although everyone else had their moments.
If you wanted chaos and Young Buckery, you got it here! This may have been too long but as long as they made JB, they hit their mark.
They have a long way to go and we are two hours into the PPV. I wonder if they will be done by midnight.
Next up is Cody Rhodes and Pac vs. Andrade el Idolo and Malakai Black. This should be interesting. Solid back and forth stuff, but it is so weird to watch a traditional tag bout after all that insanity. Cody was taken out and "injured", leaving Pac to take a two on one beating for a long time. Pac kept kicking out. Doc Sampson was checking on Cody.
When Cody got to his feet, there were some resounding boos and then even more when he got on the apron. Harsh! Cody even got booed doing the Bionic Elbow when he tagged in. Cody nailed a reverse superplex off the top, which looked great but only scored a two count. Cody locked in a figure four on Andrade but Pac tagged himself in and nailed a 450 splash. That could have been a hell of a finish but Andrade kicked out.
Pac set up for a dive but Black sent Cody into him so Cody was wiped out by his own partner. Cody saved Pac and was booed for it. Malakai hit a crazy running boot on the floor, sending himself and Cody into the crowd. Pac nailed the Black Arrow and scored the pin.
Cash Wheeler and Tully Blanchard hit the scene and attacked Rhodes and Pac. No sign of Dax.
