Becky still is getting a bit of a pop coming out. And when she was introduced. That tells you how bad of a job that they did turning her heel.
Becky is wearing white. She’s like her husband when he was a heel wearing white back in the day. The crowd is split for the women. Again, that heel turn really took Vince. Great job.
Bianca is ridiculously athletic.
Lots of back and forth, with Bianca showing her power and speed.
Becky got some near falls and was incredulous that she couldn’t get the three. Now the shoe is on the other foot.
They are doing great work here.
And then, Vince strikes again. Just as Bianca was about to hit The KOD, out came the virus, I mean Sasha Banks, and she attacked Bianca causing the DQ. Then she attacked Lynch. She left the both laying. Man am I glad I didn’t pay real money for a crap finish like that. Lucky you Columbus. Seriously, it was a strong match with a pure garbage finish.
Sasha said she will see you two on Friday. Big E vs. Lashley will kick off Raw tomorrow (to try and make people forget that the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles play on Monday Night Football).
Yep, what used to be PPVs are now events to get you to watch TV.
Time for the main event as Roman Reigns defends his Title against Finn Balor’s Demon. So it’s pretty obvious the Demon will take his first loss. Will it it be with the help of Brock Lesnar? Or will Roman say FU to Saudi Arabia and skipping that show? That is the only way I see Reigns losing and damn, that would be stupid, So, there is a chance it could happen in WWE.
Oh yeah, not one match that was close to Extreme. Time to change the name of this show.
As Roman was making the way to the ring, Peacock cut to a commercial break. I laughed out loud. It was fitting, in many ways. I they think that will make me pay an extra five bucks a month, they are on crack.
OK, Cole just reminded us that Brock will fight Roman in Happy Arabia, no matter what so now there is zero chance I think Finn will win. Not that I really thought he had a chance before he said that..
Cole just said The Demon has never lost in WWE. Well that shizzle is about to change!
The Demon is in control early, because he won’t be in control late!]
The fans are chanting for tables again. I guess their realized that they are at the end of the night and it’s now or never for plunder. Roman grabbed a cane. Demon has a bunch of them. Plunder time. For a few seconds anyway. The fans still want tables.
Demon went for the table but ate a Superman. Roman said no tables, and they booed. The fans are chanting loudly for tables. Roman went to work on The Demon with a chair. Demon kicked it in his got and the fans chanted for tables again. They really want to see a table spot.
Finn tried to give it to them but ate a drive by into the post. Maybe it’s time to put the table idea on the back burner.
Roman went to work on Demon in the crowd but asked Paul for a mask first. Smart man!
The fans finally got their table spot when Demon put Roman through one on the floor.
Balor took him back in the ring and went to set up the table in the ring. Reigns attacked but Balor fought him off. He set up the table but Reigns put him through the table, getting a two.
Fans are chanting this is awesome and it’s really good. These two are great at what they do, no doubt.
Roman hit a spear but Balor low blowed him at two on the kick out. Demon tossed Reigns to the floor, then hit the Coup. The Usos attacked him at two. It’s Extreme Rules so it is legal. That best the question, why not do it earlier then? The Usos went to put Balor through a table but he took them both out. Balot put one through a table but when Balor turned around Roman speared him through the barricade. It’s carnage everywhere.
Then red light blinked and it gave the Demon his heartbeat and he popped up. I guess if we didn’t get the supernatural stuff with Alexa, we will get hot here. Demon is going nuts. He pounded Roman all over and put him through a table. He tossed him into the ring and went to the top. Before he could come down, the top rope broke. The Demon seems confused and forgot he could still do something else to try and get the win. This led to one spear and the finish, where Reigns retained. That was one dopey finish and the fans don’t appreciate it.
The work was great. The match was hella good until we got another Vince McMahon crap finish. But at least they gave The Demon a lot before they ended his undefeated run.
Overall, not one thing that happened was surprising, which is downright sad. PPVs should be exciting and make you wonder what will happen. When you already know every finish before it happens, it takes a lot out the fun out of the show.
