MAIN EVENT TIME, WILL WWE FIX THE MISTAKE THEY MADE WITH BIANCA (I KNOW, I KNOW), US TITLE THREE WAY, CAN A DOLL BECOME CHAMP, THE TAG TITLE MATCH THAT HAS NO CHANCE OF SEEING THE CHAMPS LOSE, A MATCH THAT MATTERED SO MUCH IT WAS BOOKED AN HOUR AGO OPENS THE SHOW - FULL EXTREME RULES MATCH TONIGHT BLOG

As Alexa came out with Lily, Peacock went to commercials.  I could pay five more dollars a month to watch her entrance.  I will save that fin.

Here comes Charlotte.

Bliss is over in Ohio.  Charlotte is beating her up.  Lexi is coming back but is working like a babyface, not someone with supernatural powers.

Bliss has gotten in some hope spots so she is going up to the top.  She missed with Twisted Bliss.  Charlotte went for the Figure 8 but got rolled up.  They traded pin attempts.

Charlotte grabbed Lily and then trashed Alexa and hit Natural Selection.  Wait a second, what happened to Lily’s powers?  The fans booed and it could have been for the finish or the storyline.  Either would be acceptable.

After the match, Charlotte ripped Lily to shreds so Alexa attacked her afterward.  Charlotte wasted her and tossed her over the ringside table.  I have no idea what the point of all of that was.  I hope for Alexa’s sake it means she is going to AEW.  The work was fine but the story blew chunks.

They just showed Lily and Alexa sees she is destroyed and she is angry.  Uh, doesn’t the doll have powers?  Can’t she put her doll self back together?  Why do I have to ask these f***ing questions?  Anyway, Alexa is cradling what is left of her doll.  She is screaming as drool comes out of her mouth.  If WWE thinks they make movies, they make nothing but the worst movies.  Hey, what’s the score of the Packers-Niners game?  If Lily comes back I am begging Kane to set her on fire.  I am dumber for having to watch this dreck.

On NXT 2.0 this week, it’s all about the ladies.  What could go wrong?

Paul Heyman was caught by Kayla talking to someone on the phone.  It’s a Brock Lesnar tease.  And Paul would be caught on TV talking to Brock, after saying on TV he hasn’t been doing that because in Vince’s world that makes sense.

Damien Priest defends the US Title against Jeff Hardy and Sheamus next.  I expect this to be really good but as is the theme for the night I don’t expect a title change and when there is no doubt in the finish, that hurts a match for me.

They are fighting on the floor so this is as close to Extreme Rules as we have gotten tonight.

It was the action you would expect in a match like this, with the talent taking turns at being the guy out of the match who makes the comeback to break up the pin.

These guys are all working really hard.  As I say all the time, Sheamus is a beast.  The guy is a machine.  This is easily the best thing on the show so far, and it’s not even close.

After a bunch of back and forth at the end, Priest rolled up Sheamus to retain his belt.

Big E accepted Lashley’s challenge.  He will fight him tomorrow on Raw at 8.  PPVs setting up TV, the new normal.

Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair is next. I would ask, “Can Bianca win the Title” but she should have never lost it the way she did in the first place so I guess the best I can wonder is “will she not be booked like a rube again”?
