WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: NEW CHALLENGERS . . . OR ARE THEY OLD CHALLENGERS, WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS IS USED IN A VIDEO SEGMENT, KO DOES COMMENTARY, AND MORE

We are back and Baron Corbin makes his way to the ring.

Corbin says he was thinking about filing for bankruptcy after everything he lost.  He thought he hit rock bottom, but now he looks incredible.  The best part is that he did it all by himself and he is the happiest man in the world.  

We see Corbin after the match mentioning that he only had $35.  We see Corbin talking about the roll he was on at the casino.

Baron says he was the Mayor of Jackpot City.  Corbin says he deserves this.  He talks about what he is wearing and the Bentley he drove to the show.  He mentions that his wife welcomed him back.  Corbin says he wants everyone to call him Happy Corbin because he is the happiest person in the world.  There is one thing that could make him happier.  He asks Big E to come out.

Big E makes his way to the ring. and he has his briefcase with him.

Corbin says he appreciates Big E coming out here. 

Big E says he is very happy for Baron and he is happy that he does not smell any more.  

Baron says that he knows Big E was angry at him for taking the briefcase.  He asks Big E how much to buy the briefcase.

Corbin offers $20,000 and Big E says no.  Corbin raises the offer to $50,000 and Big E says it ain't happening.  Corbin says Big E will probably lose when he cashes in.

Big E asks if Corbin is talking about people like him. 

Corbin says he wants Big E to be happy, like him.  Corbin offers Big E $100,000.  Big E says it is a lot of bread and the kids need braces.  Big E thinks about it and says HELL NO, but he has a myriad of things that Corbin can spend that $100,000 on.  He has a half eaten sandwich, a pencil he found outside, and an Arkansas Razorback plushie.

Corbin says he knows it is a big joke to Big E, but he is way too rich and too happy for this.  Corbin tells Big E to be miserable and then he can cash in and fail.  Then he will regret not taking the $100,000.

Big E tells Baron to hit the bricks or he will slap that smile off Baron's face. 

We take a look back at Seth Rollins and Edge from SummerSlam.

Earlier today, Edge says that SummerSlam was pretty satisfying.  He defeated a generational talent in Seth Rollins, but i had to go to a dark place to find the most savage version of myself.  It affected me.  It affected me at home and wherever I went.  I did it.  This chapter and albatrooss around my neck is gone.  I am moving on to what Seth cost me in the first place, the Universal Championship.

Seth Rollins is in the back and he tells Edge he only has one thing he wants to say to him.  Congratulations.  Seth says he had a week to think about what happened.  Some people are calling it match of the year and one of your greatest victories.  It was a loss . . . that taught me a lot about myself.  You won my respect and my admiration.  I admire your Hall of Fame career and the life you built for yourself.  It got me thinking.  If I want to fight my way back to the Universal Championship, maybe I need to be a little more like you.  Thank you and congratulations.

Roman Reigns walks in the back at his nice casual pace.  He sees Paul Heyman outside his dressing room and he asks Paul what is he doing. 

Roman asks if he has to open his own door now.  Paul apologizes and opens the door.  Roman asks Paul if he is going to join him and he does.

Match Number Three:  Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs versus Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler

Boogs and Ziggler start things off and Boogs with a take down into a human air guitar and a gutwrench series and a gutwrench suplex.  Ziggler with a back elbow and Roode tags in.  Boogs is sent into Roode's boots and Roode with a neck breaker for a near fall.  

We have comments from Apollo Crews during the match and he says Nakamura is soiling the title he made important.  Crews calls Nakamura an embarrassment.

Meanwhile Ziggler tags in and he kicks and punches Boogs.  Roode tags in and they hit a double suplex for a near fall.  Boogs knocks Ziggler off the apron and he gives Roode an elbow.  Nakamura tags in and he connects with a forearm and a flying boot.  Nakamura with a reverse exploder to Ziggler.  Nakamura with a sliding German suplex to Roode and he sets for Kinshasa and Roode moves and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Roode sends Nakamura to the apron.  Nakamura with a kick but Ziggler with a Zig Zag on the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ziggler wtih a splash followed by a reverse atomic drop from Roode on Nakamura.  Roode and Ziggler with a flying boot and side Russian leg sweep combination.  Roode tags in and hits a suplex for a near fall.  Nakamura misses a round kick and hits a back heel kick.  Boogs tags in and so does Ziggler.  Boogs with a flying back elbow and an exploder.  Boogs with a splash into teh corner and a bulldog for a near fall.  Boogs with a kick and he gets Ziggler up for a pump handle move but Roode breaks it up.  Boogs with an exploder to Roode and Ziggler with a super kick but Nakamura breaks up the cover.  

Roode is sent to the apron and Nakamura knocks Roode off the apron.  Ziggler sends Nakamura to the floor. Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall.  Boogs with a pump handle power slam for the three count.

Winners:  Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura

Sonya Deville is in the back and Naomi shows up.  She says she is excited to be back on Smackdown.  She is ready to glow this show up.  She asks when is her first match.  Sonya says she didn't know that Naomi was coming to Smackdown and Adam Pearce probably did it behind her back.  Sonya says she does not know if Naomi is up for this.  Sonya says she will tell Naomi next week, after she has thought about it.

Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio are back and Rey says Dominik has a lot to learn as a tag team but he will let him go on his own.  Dominik isn't sure of what his father is saying.  Rey tells Dominik he needs to step back.  Rey says that he asked Adam to give Dominik a match and he does not know who his opponent is, but Dominik can win the match.

Match Number Four:  Dominik Mysterio versusSami Zayn

They lock up and Zayn with a clean break.  They lock up again and Zayn backs Dominik into the corner and Zayn with punches on the break.  Zayn with kicks.  Zayn runs Dominik's face across the top rope.  Zayn punches Dominik.  Dominik with a body scissors and a back body drop.  Zayn falls back into the corner.  Zayn with a kick and punches.  Zayn with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow.  Dominik goes to the apron to avoid a splash.  Dominik with a springboard arm drag and drop kick.  Dominik with a head scissors that sends Zayn into the ropes.  Dominik goes for the 619 but Sami pulls the ropes and Dominik goes to the floor.

Rey makes his way to the ring to check on the man he said he trusted on his own as we go to commercial.

We ar abck and Zayn chokes Dominik in the ropes while Zayn has some words for Dominik's father.  Dominik with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Zayn with a clothesline and he tries for the Blue Thunder Bomb but Dominik blocks it.  Zayn with elbows to Dominik and Dominik still blocks the Blue Thunder Bomb and Dominik with elbows.  Dominik lands on his feet on a Blue Thunder Bomb and Dominik with an enzuigiri.  Dominik with a drop toe hold and a 619.  Dominik goes up top and Zayn rolls to the other side of the ring.  Zayn with an exploder into the turnbuckles followed by a Helluva Kick for the three count.

Winne:  Sami Zayn

After the match, Rey checks on Dominik and Dominik doesn't want to hear from his father.

Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Paul Heyman are in Gorilla Position and Roman is not in a good mood.  Paul hands him the belt and Roman asks why is he doing that.  Paul says it is a family celebration.  Roman says that Paul is family.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Roman Reigns is in the ring with Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Paul Heyman.

Roman is handed the mic by Paul.  

Roman looks around and then he asks Paul to have the people of North Little Rock acknowledge him.  Roman tells Paul to tell them it is their lucky night because they will be able to acknowledge the Usos as well.  Roman tells Paul to tell everyone it is time to celebrate the fact that we have CENAnough of John at SummerSlam thanks to Roman Reigns.  Cena was beaten by the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

FInn Balor's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Balor tells Roman he knows that he got screwed out of his match at SummerSlam by John Cena and he will take care of Cena.  Edge is talking about the Universal Championship.  Brock Lesnar is back.  Finn says he was going to come out and challenge Brock to a match at Extreme Rules, but since he doesn't trust anyone around here, he is not waiting in line.  I am challenging you to a match next week on Smackdown.

Balor with a forearm to Reigns and then THe Usos attack Balor.

The Street Profits come to the ring with their music playing and they go after the Usos.  Ford with an enzuigiri and Dawkins with a running shoulder tackle.  Balor with a drop kick that sends Jimmy into the corner and Balor goes up top and looks at Roman before hitting Coup de Grace.

We go to credits.
