D'Lo Brown agreed that Mortal Kombat was "pretty awesome."
Johnny Swinger was next. Rosemary joined him and D'Lo Brown.
They were asked about what matches they were looking forward to on the Rebellion PPV. Rosemary said the Knockouts title matches. She praised Black Taurus' addition to the Decay group and the power he adds to the group.
Swinger was asked about being the Midnight Mayor. He said he loves being up all night long and it's the best gimmick ever.
Swinger joked that he's never been to hell but he will go anywhere if you have a nice car. Rosemary seemed intruiged.
A fan asked Swinger what his name means to him. He said it didn't mean anything to "Junior" (meaning Vince) so that's why he's back in Impact. It means the world to him and the Swingerellas. He said they need to add a bloody Rosemary to Swinger's Palace.
Rosemary was asked about what would happen if she crossed paths with AEW's Bunny. Rosemary said her bunny is dead and isn't coming back. That other Bunny in the other realm is a different bunny but with infinite endings and paths, you never know what could happen.
Swinger asked Rosemary if he died and Rosemary brought him back, would he have to return the insurance money.
Rosemary was asked if the Undead Realm or Swinger's Palace would be the worst place to be sent for all eternity. She said her deadbeat husband is at the Palace. Swinger said she could torture him all she wants. She said Undead Realm would be the worst place to be stuck.
A fan asked why Rosemary hasn't gotten a bigger push. Swinger cut a promo in character pushing her.
A fan asked Swinger about his promos. They did some funny in-character stuff. Rosemary said she wanted to get a bear in Decay.
Gia Miller returned and she found her shoes, so cancel that APB.
The Good Brothers, Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson, joined the discussion. They were asked if they would defend the titles against The Butcher and the Blade if they win. They said they would. They noted Anderson and Blade go back a long way. All the way to Les Thatcher training them! They were asked if they wanted to defend the titles in Japan if they win. They said they can't wait to step back onto Japanese soil. They said it's going to be an amazing return when they can go back to New Japan.
They said the Impact Tag Team Titles need to be with Impact, not floating around Japan, unless they are around The Good Brothers' waists. They were asked if they would go collect other belts. They said they are title collectors and are going to go take titles all over the world. They want all the titles. They will be doing another Talkin' Shop-A-Mania and apologized for them.
They were asked if they could face any Impact team from the past, who would it be. Karl Anderson said it would have been really cool to have face America's Most Wanted in their prime. The Good Brothers would have beaten them but given them a strong 15-16 minutes before the Magic Killer. They said "Sorry Wildcat, because Storm isn't taking that L."
They were asked what teams on the roster they'd like to face now. They like Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. They'd like to see some teams coming in from NJPW. AEW has a strong roster. Impact is the one place you see everyone co-mingle together.
Next up was Impact Wrestling Champion Rich Swann. Swann said tonight's match is unprecedented where you'd have one champion over two companies and two TV networks. Swann said he doesn't consider himself the underdog. He said everyone knows what Kenny Omega is and what he represents. He's changed professional wrestling. What does Swann have? Fight, fire, determination. He came back from a broken L-5 and L-6. He came back from a broken tibia and broken ankle where he was told he might not walk the same again. He's bringing all that passion and fight to tonight's main event.
Swann was asked who has his eyes on in AEW if he wins. Swann said he has two talents on his eyes right now - TNT Champion Darby Allin and Jon Moxley. He said his style and Allin's are different, but their passion are the same. He's never been in the ring with Moxley but would love to show the world what these Baltimore hands can do and show how wild and crazy Swann can get.
Swann said tonight's pressure is going to show he's always ready for the spotlight and that pressure creates diamonds.
Swann was asked about Moose threatening him that he would deal with Moose if he lost the titles tonight. Swann said he's no stranger to threats. Moose was by his size at Hard to Kill. He said he will bring the fight to anyone who wants to step in there with him.
Swann said the pressure of a moment like tonight creates stars. He knows he can handle the pressure. He is aware of every accolade that Kenny Omega has but he's going to REBELL against the cockiness and he's going to walk out champion.
Swann said his title reign hasn't been easy, facing Chris Bey, Tommy Dreamer, Moose, Eric Young and more. He worked hard and trained hard for this. If he can win the AEW title, he knows he's going to have more pressure and he's going to have targets on his back from every angle and from two promotions on two different networks.
Swann said it would be one of the biggest moments of his career to be both the AEW Champion and the Impact Champion. He never would have dreamt in his life that he would make it to that point.
D'Lo Brown and Gia Miller closed the broadcast out. It was a fun mix of storyline and legitimate questions from fans. There were some slight technical issues and delays, usually related to talents waiting for fans to figure out how to unmute themselves but nothing that made the event drag.
We'll back at for Rebellion coverage later today!
