They showed highlights of Rob Van Dam in the past, including his match against Sabu at the first Hardore Justice PPV:
Sami Callihan came out and issued an open challenge. He said he was willing to fight anyone who wanted to get their ass beat by the Death Machine. He said he's been trying to teach Trey Miguel passion the last few weeks. Out came Sam Beale, who had been involved in the Trey-Callihan situation a few weeks back on Impact TV.
Sami Callihan vs. Sam Beale
It was all Callihan, who ravaged Beale, snapped his fingers and worked him over on the floor. Beale tried to fire back but Callihan snatched him over with an exploder on the floor. When Beale returned to the ring, he shocked Callihan with a small package and a schoolboy for near falls but Callihan cut him off and nailed a package piledriver. That was all she wrote.
Your winner, Sami Callihan!
Short and sweet. As a way to continue the Trey Miguel storyline, Callihan beating down one of Miguel's prized pupils was a fine way to continue it without having a physical confrontation between the two.
Brian Myers vs. Jake Something - Blindgames Match
They were each blindfolded. Usually the gimmick for this is the babyface can be "led" by the fans but that's not going to happen here. They felt their way around the ring trying to find the other but missing the mark. They ended up grabbing the referee. Myers went to the floor, where he found a trash can lid. Something went to the floor and found his way to Myers but was nailed with the lid.
Myers find a piece of piping under the ring and nailed Something with it, then tossed him back into the ring. Myers held onto Something while trying to flail around looking for another weapon. He finally found a cookie sheet and wacked Jake. He covered him but Jake was chest-first on the mat, so there was no way his shoulders could be pinned. Myers grabbed a front facelock and went for a Flatliner DDT but Jake rolled through and was able to hold onto Myers, nailing a sit-out powerbomb. Myers kicked up at two.
Something held onto his wrist and nailed a series of short arm clotheslines. He nailed a lariat. The referee got bumped so Myers lifted his mask and attacked Something with a superkick. He pulled it down as Matt Cardona came down to the ring, with his theme music, with the crate he left with earlier.
Jake nailed Myers with it and sure enough, there was a collection of action figures. Something scored the pin.
Your winner, Jake Something!
They did as well as they could with the gimmick. There's a big upside to Something (so much star potential there) and Myers is really damn good but it was the third in a sea of gimmick matches, so that took the luster off obviously.
Team Dreamer cut a promo about their Hardcore War match. It was a fun old school, frenzied promo from each of them especially Dreamer and Swann. It felt like the type of promo we'd see before a Wargames or a Survivor Series multi-person bout.
Knockouts Scramble Match with all weapons legal - winner to be named number one contender - Rosemary vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Havok vs. Tenille Dashwood with Kaleb with A K vs. Alisa Edwards vs. Susan
When Susan came out, Su Yung's music played and Yung "came out next to her" Yung attacked Susan with the Mandible Claw and left her laying, then headed to the ring to replace her. The announcers played up that Su Yung being involved completely threw the odds out the window.
All the competitors were in the ring at the bell. Dashwood rolled to the outside. Alisa tried to roll up Grace but wasn't able to get her up and over. Grace began drilling Edwards with shoulderblocks in the corner. Yung and Havok faced off and began battling. Rosemary joined the fray and they tossed Yung to the outside, then attacked each other. They fought back and forth until they nailed a double clothesline and each rolled to the floor. Grace and Edwards kept fighting. Dashwood tried to get involved but Grace went after her.
Kaleb threatened to nail Grace with a frying pan but almost hit his charge. Yung stalked Dashwood, who rolled into the ring, where Edwards stapled her in the rear. Dashwood freaked and was surrounded by all the other competitors. Kaleb hit the ring and challenged to fight all of them. He was stapled in the place where no man wants to be stapled and pinballed all over as he was hit with a bunch of moves before being tossed to the floor. Yung nailed a flip dive off the apron on Kaleb on the floor.
Edwards began nailing competitors with a cookie sheet but Havok wiped her out and nailed a legdrop. Grace broke up the pinfall. They battled and Havok was tossed to the floor. Edwards brought a trash can into the ring but Grace moved it to a corner and nailed several slams. She grabbed Edwards and nailed her with a sideslam through the trash can but Yung broke up the pinfall. Yung wedged a chair in the corner and nailed Grace with a running palm strike. Grace was hit with a head scissors into a chair wedged in a corner. Rosemary and Yung fought over a rope. Havok charged and was clotheslined by the rope. Rosemary retrieved a bag from under the ring and poured thumbtacks on the outside of the ring. She dragged Edwards over to the tacks but ended up being hit with an inverted DDT on the tacks. Edwards pulled a Singapore Cane with a female face (they said it was Eddie Edwards' Kenny's wife) and began beating Rosemary with it. Yung grabbed Edwards by the throat and dragged her out of the arena.
Havok and Grace battled. Havok went to ropes but Neveah ran out and tossed powder in Havok's face, blinding her. Grace cleaned house with a series of big moves, culminating with a Vader Bomb, but when she went for the pinfall, Kaleb pulled her out of the ring. Dashwood dove into the ring and pinned Havok.
Your winner and new Knockouts Championship number one contender, Tenille Dashwood!
Dashwood stealing the win after everyone else killed themselves trying to get the win was nice heel 101 psychology.
