The fourth match started before the first hour was done. Remember when we told you that this show was a dry run for The Cock? That is exactly what it feels like.
Rollins is working Shin over early (yeah, I will mimic Cole and say Shin because it’s less to type). Rollins worked him over, calling for Cesaro, until he left his arm exposed and Shin locked him up. Seth got to the ropes but Shin kept pounding the snot out of him.
Rollins came back with a big tope, into the barricade. He hit a knee off of the top rope and a sling blade, two count only. This PPV is a throwaway but they are working hard.
Rollins hit a Buckle Bomb and a Falcon Arrow, but only got a two. This is easily the best thing on the show. It’s an actual match.
This is actually really good. Rollins has showed some cool stuff late in the match. He finally got The Stomp and got the pin. I didn’t expect Shin to go over since the match for Mania is Cesaro-Rollins but the work was excellent and the match was strong.
More commercials. If they do them like this during PPVs, it’s fine for me. It gives on time to use the facilities, or get a cocktail. I can live with this. Now if they only fix the pause and rewind, it will be fine. There haven’t been any issues (I really didn’t expect any since Comcast is a cable/TV/internet company).
Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus is next. The video package for this is excellent.
Drew is out first, with blue and white Scottish face paint. Cool touch. I like it. Sheamus has no paint. This is No Holds Barred. Since there is no real reason for it, it should have a stip. This will be stiff, for sure.
Drew is plundering Sheamus early on but he made the mistake of letting Sheamus nail him with a big kick. Sheamus will now plunder him. Now they are just plundering each other. They are both going to feel this one tonight, let alone tomorrow.
They are just pounding the snot out of each other, it’s like a fight. The are fighting out in the stands area. Big Rolling Senton by Sheamus. Both of their bodies are showing serious wear and tear.
Drew fought back and threw Sheamus through a section of fans that were watching via the video wall. Cool spot!
I would say that they are selling this really well, and they may be, but they have to be hurting a bit too. They are abusing each other. Speaking of which, Sheamus did White Noise off of the barricade through the announce table. OUCH. There is a This Is Awesome chant. It’s deserved.
The end came when Sheamus tried to use a piece of the desk to take out Drew but he reversed it and dusted Sheamus on it and then hit the Claymore to get the win.
This was an awesome brawl. Sheamus deserves a bigger role when this is over. He has a ton left in the tank. Drew goes on to face Lashley at Mania.
Randy Orton and whatever will happen with Alexa Bliss is left. Then the main event.
I have no idea what to expect from this but whatever it is, I don’t have high hopes. This whole thing is just too goofy for words.
Randy came out and as he was Viping he started spitting out the black stuff again. He isn’t happy (I am not either). He is coughing and wheezing. He got a towel and wiped it off. He yelled come on to Alexa. Yeah, he wants to beat up that five foot tall, hundred pound woman. WTF?
The bell rang and Randy charged the post HARD, and missed. So the idea here is he wants to beat up a small woman. What the actual f(iretr)uck am I seeing?
Anyway he comes to her on the floor and a light rack falls. After charging 100 miles an hour at her, he asked if she was trying to kill him, you mean like you just did to her? This is what vomit would look like if you could watch it on a TV.
Alexa threw a fireball at him. He ducked. As he walked towards her am arm came up through the ring. Of course, it’s the burnt up Fiend. Randy is scared. Bliss pushed him into Bray and he hit Sister Abigail, then she pinned him. Yep, that is what I just watched. Obviously it’s Fiend vs. Randy at Mania.
