We take a look back at the signing of L A Knight to an NXT contract.

We see what Knight did on the Kickoff Show.

Match Number Five:  NXT Men’s Championship Match: Finn Balor versus Pete Dunne

The bell rings and neither man moves at first.  They lock up and Balor backs Dunne into the corner and gives a clean break.  Dunne with a wrist lock but Balor with an arm bar take down.  Dunne goes for the leg and he goes for the fingers but Balor avoids it.  Balor with a wrist lock into an arm bar.  Dunne with a take down but Balor holds on to the wrist lock.  Balor with a take down and he holds on to the arm with an arm bar.  Dunne with a monkey flip and Balor holds on to the wrist lock.  Dunne with a wrist lock.

They lock up and Balor with a side head lock take down.  Balor with a shoulder tackle and a side head lock take down.  Balor with a shoulder tackle.  Balor with a side head lock take down and Dunne with a head scissors.  Dunne adds pressure in the head scissors.  They lock up and Dunne with a shoulder against the ropes.  Balor backs Dunne into the corner and Dunne goes for the hand and he twists the hand and pulls at the fingers.  Balor with a back body drop and Dunne goes for a sunset flip but Balor escapes.  Dunne with a triangle but Balor escapes.  Balor with a double wrist lock.  Dunne goes for a cross arm breaker but Balor locks his hands and Dunne adds pressure to the jaw with his legs.  Balor grabs the leg but Dunne with a wrist lock and a hammer lock using the arm and he pulls back the other arm and hyper-extends it and applies a cross arm breaker.

 Balor gets to the ropes and escapes the hold.  Dunne with a double wrist lock take down.  Dunne pulls at the fingers and has Balor in a head scissors with the wrist lock.  Dunne with his elbow against the ribs.  Balor kicks Dunn in the leg and he takes Dunne down with a single leg take down and he works on the leg.  Balor with a heel hook.  Balor kicks the leg.  Balor with a single leg sweep into a single leg crab.  Dunne tries to add pressure to the jaw to force Balor to release the hold.  Dunne with a guillotine into an X Plex.  Dunne with forearms but Balor fires back.  Balor grabs the ankle and puts the leg on the ropes and drops a knee on the injured leg.

Balor with a single leg trip and Dunne goes for a triangle into a rollup for a near fall.  Dunne with an enzuigiri but Balor with a clothesline for a near fall.  Balor kicks Dunne.  Balor with knees to the back and Balor with a heel hook and forearms to the leg.  Balor with forearms to the back of the head to set up an STF and Balor locks it in.  Dunne slams the hand into the mat to escape the hold.  Balor chops Dunne and chokes him in the ropes.  Balor with a chop.  Balor with another chop and he chokes Dunne in the ropes.  Balor with a chop but Dunne chops back.  Balor with an Irish whip and Dunne tries to flip out of the corner and his knee gives out and then Balor with a drop kick.

Dunne with a forearm and Dunne blocks a Pele Kick.  Dunne stomps on Balor and Dunne with a head butt and sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Dunne puts the elbow on the mat and Dunne stomps on it.  Dunne with a German suplex and he stomps on the hands.  Dunne misses a kick and gets caught in the ropes.  Balor kicks Dunne in the back of the leg and connects with a forearm and hits a lungblower.  Balor with an elevated elbow drop. Balor drop kicks Dunne into the corner.  Balor looks around and goes up top for Coup De Grace and Dunne is able to catch Balor in the triangle.  Balor tries to get to the ropes and Dunne rolls Balor into the center of the ring.  Dunne with shots to the head while Balor turns purple but Balor gets his foot on the ropes.

The referee checks on Balor ad Dunne grabs Balor but the referee pulls Dunne away to check on Balor.  Balor says he is okay and Dunne kicks Balor in the head and Balor blocks the Bitter End and Balor with a knee and abdominal stretch and he sits down on the mat.  Dunne pulls the fingers.  Balor with a forearm and he kicks Dunne.  Dunne sends Balor's arm into his groinal region.  Dunne with Bitter End for a near fall.  Dunne stomps on the hands and he does it again.  Dunne with a kick to the head followed by a power bomb attempt but Balor counters with a DDT.  Balor runs into an enzuigiri.  Balor with a Pele Kick but Dunne with a kick to the head.  Balor with 1916 for a near fall.  Dunne holds on to Balor's hand and Balor kicks Dunne in the knee.  Balor with a double stomp to the back.  Balor pulls out Dunne's mouthpiece and throws it out of the ring.

Balor with a drop kick to the head ad he goes up top and hits Coup de Grace.  Balor with 1916 for the three count.

Winner:  Finn Balor (retains Championship)

After the match, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan attack Finn Balor from behind on the stage.  All three men work over Balor.  Dunne hits the referee and then Burch, Lorcan, and Dunne all continue their assault on Balor.

Music for the Undisputed Era plays and they come to the ring and Dunne, Burch, and Lorcan leave the ring.

Finn is a little shocked to see Undisputed Era in the ring and Kyle helps Balor up.  Kyle tells Finn he is a real champion.  

Adam Cole super kicks Balor and Kyle and Roddy have words for Cole.

Kyle tells Cole this is bulls*** and Cole gives Kyle a super kick.

Cole leaves the ring and he wants to know if Strong is coming with him.

We go to credits.
