COMPLETE WWE NXT TAKEOVER VENGEANCE DAY COVERAGE: THREE TITLE MATCHES, TWO DUSTY CUPS, CAMERON GRIMES, AND BETRAYAL?

We are at the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Beth Phoenix, Wade Barrett, and Vic Joseph.

Match Number One:  Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals: Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez versus Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon

Shotzi and Gonzalez start things off and Gonzalez with a shoudler tackle.  Shotzi with a sleeper but Gonzalez with a snap mare to escape.  Moon tags in and Moon wiht a waist lock.  Gonzalez with an elbow and Moon with an octopus but Gonzalez with a side slam to escape.  Shotzi tags in and they both kick Gonzalez but Gonzalez with a kick to Shotzi and she blocks a Codebreaker attempt.  Gonzalez drops down on a sunset flip attempt for a near fall.  Gonzalez sends Shotzi into the turnbuckles and connects with shoudlers and then she runs Shotzi into the turnbuckles.  Dakota tags in and she kicks Shotiz in the head and Gonzalez with a side slam.  Dakota gets a near fal.

Kai with an Irish whip but she misses a Yakuza Kick when Shotzi moves.  Shotzi blocks a kick and takes Kai to the mat and applies a cloverleaf but Kai gets to the ropes to force a break.  Moon holds Kai and Shotzi with a back senton into Ki.  Ember tags in and connects with a knee and slingshot splash for a near fall.  Moon kicks Kai in the leg and Shotzi tags in and they make a wish.  Shotzi with a forearm and she puts the leg in the ropes.  Kai knocks Shotzi down and Blackheart blocks a kick and applies a single leg crab.  Moon tags in and they roll rhough and send Kai into the mat.  Moon with a heel hook.  Moon pulls Kai away from her corner to prevent the tag.

Kai reaches for the tag again but Moon pulls Kai back into the center of the ring.  Kai with kicks to Moon and Moon keeps Kai from making the tag.  Shotzi tags in and Raquel comes in and distracts the referee and the referee, since he did not see the tag, sends Moon back into the match.  Moon with a running forearm to knock Gonzalez off the apron and then hits a kneeDT.  Moon with an ankle lock on Kai.  Kai rolls through and sends Moon into the turnbuckles.  Gonzalez tags in and she clotheslines Moon a few times.  Gonzalez with a forearm to the chest.  Gonzalez sends Moon's head into the turnbuckles.  Gonzalez biels Moon across the ring by the hair.

Gonzalez with a fallaway slam.  Gonzalez with another fallaway slam and then she grabs Shotzi and gives her a fallaway slam.  Gonzalez gets a near fall on Moon.  Kai tags in and she goes up top and Gonzalez helps Kai hit a clothesline for a near fall.  Shotzi punches Gonzalez but Shotzi pulls Gonzalez to the floor.  Shotzi slaps Gonzalez but Raquel catches Shotzi off the apron and Gonzalez sends Shotzi into the ringside barrier and plexiglass.  Moon with a drop kick and Moon with a power slam to Kai.  Moon with punches to Gonzalez but Gonzalez holds Moon and Kai with a drop kick to the back.  Gonzalez gets a near fall.  Moon with a jaw breaker.

Gonzalez with a forearm.  Kai tags in and Gonzalez with an Irish whip and Kai with a face wash for a near fall.  Gonzalez tags in and she goes to clothesline Moon but Moon ducks and Gonzalez clotheslines Kai.  Moon avoids a splash from Gonzalez.  Moon with a leg lariat and that leads to a DDT on Kai.  Moon with Eclipse but Kai keeps the referee from making the count.  Moon gets a near fall.  Moon pulls Kai into the ring.  Shotzi with a missile drop kick to Gonzalez while Gonzalez goes for the choke slam and Moon gets a near fall.  Moon with a drop kick for a near fall.

Kai and Shotzi tag in and Shotzi with an arm drag and splash followed by a bulldog.  Shotzi gets Kai up and hits a facebuster for a near fall.  Shotzi with an enzuigiri to Raquel but Raquel sends Shotzi to the turnbuckles.  Shotzi with Sliced Bread from the turnbuckles for a near fall.  Shotzi with a suicide dive on Kai in front of the announce table.  Ember tags in and she goes up top.  Shotzi with a neck breaker and Ember with a Codebreaker.  Shotzi with Code Red and Ember gets a near fall.  Ember goes up top again and Ember stops Kai and Ember with a cross body to Kai who was on Shotzi's shoulders on the floor.  Raquel knocks Shotzi down and Ember sends Raquel into the ring steps.

Ember kicks Raquel in the knees and Ember with a scorpion stretch but Kai kicks Moon to force the hold to be released.  Kai and Shotzi tag in and Kai with a scorpion kick followed by KaiRopractor for a near fall.  Gonzalez tags in and she gets Shotzi on her shoulders and Kai with a GTK but Moon breaks up the cover.  Raquel sends Ember over the top rope onto the ramp and then off the ramp into the fencing.  Shotzi with a leg drop to the back of the head for a near fall.  Shotzi with a drop kick to Gonzalez and then she back drops Kai into Raquel.  Gonzalez knocks Shotzi off the turnbuckles.  Gonzales slams Kai onto Shotzi and then Gonzalez with a choke slam for the three count.

Winners:  Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez

After the match, William Regal congratulates Dakota and Raquel on their victory and the confetti flies.

We see the participants in the Men's Championship Match arriving at the building earlier today.

As Johnny Gargano walks to the ring with The Way, Dexter Lumis chloroforms Austin Theory and takes him away.  Gargano notices that Austin is not on the stage and he wants to know what is going on.  He tells Candice and Indi to find Austin.

Match Number Two:  NXT North American Championship Match: Johnny Gargano versus KUSHIDA

Gargano with a shoulder tackle but KUSHIDA goes for the Hoverboard Lock and Gargano gets to the ropes.  Gargano with a single leg take down.  KUSHIDA with a reverse chin lock and he starts to work on the arm and then he works on the leg before returning to the arm.  Gargano with a front face lock into a wrist lock.  KUSHIDA with a drop toe hold into a front face lock.  Gargano tries to escape but KUSHIDA holds on and applies a rear chin lock.  KUSHIDA with a shoulder tackle and he does a cartwheel to counter a rana.  KUSHIDA misses a kick and KUSHIDA goes for a hip toss but Gargano counters into a rollup.  KUSHIDA with a GargaNo Escape on Gargano but Johnny gets to the ropes.

Gargano with a forearm to KUSHIDA and then he sends KUSHIDA to the floor.  Gargano with a baseball slide but he misses.  KUSHIDA misses a knee off the apron.  Gargano sends KUSHIDA into the ring steps.  Gargano goes for a suplex on the floor but KUSHIDA counters into a suplex and he appllies a cross arm breaker and Gargano taps on the floor but it does not end the match.  KUSHIDA breaks the count and returns to Gargano and he hits a chicken wing suplex on the floor.  

They return to the ring and KUSHIDA with a drop kick to the arm.  KUSHIDA continues to work on the arm as Gargano tries to keep KUSHIDA away from the arm.  KUSHIDA with elbows to the ribs and then he works on the wrist and slams the hand to the mat.  KUSHIDA with a wrist lock.  Gargano sends KUSHIDA Into the turnbuckles but KUSHIDA with an elbow.  Gargano with a neck breaker in the ropes.  Gargano tries to get feeling back into his injured arm.  Gargano hangs KUSHIDA over the apron and slams his throat into the edge of the apron.  Gargano with a forearm to the head.  Gargano with a suplex and he gets a near fall.  Gargano with a gourdbuster and a kick to KUSHIDA's arm.  

Gargano with a rear chin lock in the ropes and the referee warns Gargano.  Gargano with a modified abdominal stretch.  KUSHIDA with an octopus.  Gargano escapes and he drops down when KUSHIDA goes for a sunset flip.  They alternate near falls.  KUSHIDA with a La Magistral for a near fall.  KUSHIDA and Gargano both go down on a double clothesline.  Gargano with forearms but KUSHIDA with punches and a reverse atomic drop and hip toss and cartwheel followed by a drop kick.  KUSHIDA with a punch and then he stomps on Gargano's clavicle.  KUSHIDA with a guillotine but Gargano escapes and connects with a forearm.  KUSHIDA with a forearm.  Gargano with an enzuigiri.  KUSHIDA iwth a take down into an ankle lock.  Gargano gets to teh ropes and KUSHIDA with a German suplex.

KUSHIDA with a round kick to the head for a near fall.  Gargano with a Northern Lariat but KUSHIDA sends Gargano to the apron.  KUSHIDA goes for a handspring kick but Gargano moves.  KUSHIDA blocks the slingshot spear and KUSHIDA with a chicken wing suplex and a bridging chicken wing suplex for a near fall.  Gargano with a kick but KUSHIDA with a punch to knock Gargano down on the apron.  KUSHIDA sends Gargano's elbow into the turnbuckles.  KUSHIDA goes for the Hoverboard Lock in the ropes but Gargano pushes KUSHIDA away.  KUSHIDA with a handspring kick to knock Gargano down on the turnbuckles.

KUSHIDA sets for the wrist lock take down but Gargano with a twisting superplex off the turnbuckels.  Gargano with a tornado DDT for a near fall.  Gargano gets KUSHIDA up for a lawn dart but KUSHIDA escapes.  KUSHIDA with an arm drag and KUSHIDA with La Mistica but Gargano escapes and both men go for submissions.  KUSHIDA with a cross arm breaker but Gargano rolls through for a near fall.  Both men with clotheslines and punches and both men are down.

KUSHIDA with a forearm and Gargano fires back.  They go back and forth and get back to their feet.  KUSHIDA with kicks and he goes for a handspring back elbow but Gargano counters and tries to lock in the GargaNo Escape.  Gargano locks it in.  KUSHIDA gets his arm free and he is able to counter into a Hoverboard Lock.  Gargano tries to get to the ropes but KUSHIDA rolls into the ring and KUSHIDA with a bridge for a near fall.  Gargano with a super kick and KUSHIDA with a punch.  Gargano catches KUSHIDA and Gargano with a lawn dart.  

KUSHIDA goes for a flatliner into the turnbuckles but Gargano blocks it.  KUSHIDA with a chicken wing suplex into the turnbuckles.  KUSHIDA grabs Gargano and lifts him to the turnbuckles.  KUSHIDA with a Spanish Fly and he applies the Cross Arm Breaker but Gargano locks his hands.  KUSHIDA unlocks the arms and Gargano tries to get to the ropes but Gargano cannot get there.  Gargano gets his foot on the ropes.  Gargano rolls to the floor and he brings KUSHIDA to teh floor.  Gargano backs KUSHIDA Into the apron but KUSHIDA keeps the Hoverboard Lock applied.  Gargano backs KUSHIDA into the ringside barrier.  Gargano starts to go to the back.

KUSHIDA appears at the entrance and kicks Gargano in the arm.  KUSHIDA with the Hoverboard Lock and Gargano puts KUSHIDA In the ropes and sends KUSHIDA's throat into the top rope to escape.  Gargano with One Final Beat on the ramp.  Gargano goes for One Final Beat into the ring and hits it for the three count.

Winner:  Johnny Gargano (retains Championship)
