Match Number Three: Rey Mysterio (with Dominik Mysterio) versus Baron Corbin
Rey goes through the legs but Corbin grabs Rey but Rey sends Corbin into the turnbuckles. Corbin with an Irish whip and punch. Corbin punches Rey in the midsection and head. Corbin with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Rey with a wheelbarrow into a bulldog to counter a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Corbin sends Rey under the bottom rope to teh floor and Corbin with a clothesline on the floor. Corbin gets in Dominik's face and pushes him down.
Corbin sends Rey back into the ring and gets a near fall. Corbin stands on the back as he taunts Dominik. Corbin with a punch. Rey with a drop kick to the knees and Rey goes up top and hits a seated splash and a springboard cross body but Corbin catches Rey and gets Rey on his shoulders. Rey counters with a rana that sends Corbin into the ropes. Corbin with Deep Six to counter a 619 attempt but Corbin can only get a near fall. Corbin does the Wacky Slide but Rey kicks Corbin when Baron gets back into the ring.
Rey misses a baseball slide and Corbin with an elbow. Corbin yells at Dominik and then punches him after sending Rey back into the ring. Rey with a 619 to the back of the head. Dominik gets into the ring and Rey tells Dominik to stop. Corbin sends Rey into Dominik and hits End of Days for the three count.
Winner: Baron Corbin
Rey lectures his large adult son about his actions tonight.
Adam Pearce walks in the bac and he sees Paul Heyman. Paul has a smirk on his face and he tells Pearce there was a bit of a wrinkle and Roman did not sign the contract. Paul says Roman agreed with Adam about not having a No DQ match. Paul says No DQ isn't the way for Adam Pearce to return to the ring for his biggest match. It will be a Last Man Standing Match.
Adam asks who will that benefit. Paul says he is not in the business of spoilers and he tells Adam to take his time and he can address it wtih Roman face to face in the ring when he signs the contract. Paul says he considers this handled.
The set for Bayley's DING DONG . . . HELLO is being prepared in the ring as we go to commercial.
We are back and Rey is witih Dominik and Dominik says that Rey has fought giants his entire career, but he is backing down. Rey says he is not backing down. He is trying to formulate a plan. He talks about Baron's accomplishments. Dominik says he doesn't care what Corbin has done. Rey says if they want to take care of Corbin, he knows who to talk to.
We go to the ring for DING DONG, HELLO with Bayley.
Bayley brings out a woman she has had her eye on for quite a time. Her first guest is Bianca Belair.
Bayley tells Bianca to ring the door bell and Bayley lets Bianca in and Bianca sits on Bayley's chair.
Bayley says she will stand since she will need to get her legs ready for when she wins the Royal Rumble. Bayley mentions Bianca's Chronicle on the WWE Network debuting on January 24th. We have a sneak preview of the show.
Bayley apologizes for the clip of her pinning Bianca.
Bayley asks Bianca why does she call herself the EST of WWE. Bianca says it is for all of her accomplishments before she came to the WWE. Bayley asks if that is an insult to the women who paved the way for her.
Bianca says that when she calls her the best . . .
Bayley asks if by beating Bianca she is now the best.
Bianca says Bayley can put on her gear and have a rematch.
Bayley says she doesn't have anything to prove. Bayley says she has an idea and they can do an obstacle course next week.
Bianca accepts the challenge.
We go to Daniel Bryan at the Alpha Academy as he works on his hips.
Kayla Braxton ambushes and asks about the training with Otis and Chad. Bryan says they bring a fresh, positive approach. If the Alpha Academy way helps him a little, it should help him at the Royal Rumble.
Kayla asks Daniel about the effect of his loss last week to Shinsuke Nakamura. Daniel says that Nakamura is a former Royal Rumble winner and then he shook his hand after the match.
Cesaro shows up and says that Nakamura shook his hand as a pity thing.
Cesaro criticizes the training methods and Daniel says he will show him.
Match Number Four: Daniel Bryan versus Cesaro
They lock up and Cesaro with a side head lock and shoulder tackle for a near fall. Cesaro returns to the side head lock. Bryan with an arm drag into an arm bar. Bryan works on the shoulder and takes Cesaro to the mat with a hammer lock. Cesaro backs Bryan into the corner and connects with an elbow and European uppercut. Cesaro with an Irish whip and European uppercut. Cesaro with an Irish whip but Cesaro misses an uppercut into the corner. Bryan with kicks and a running drop kick. Bryan with a bulldog and he works on the arm. Bryan works on the wrist as well.
Cesaro with a slam. Cesaro with a forearm to the kidneys. Bryan with forearms but Cesaro sends Bryan to the mat and Bryan with a bridge on the cover. Bryan with a monkey flip that sends Cesaro against the ropes and then onto Bryan before he goes to the floor. Bryan with a cross body onto Cesaro. Bryan with kicks to Cesaro but Cesaro moves and Bryan kicks the ring post as we go to commercial.
We are back and Cesaro with a knee bar and he swings Bryan around. Cesaro continues to work on the leg. Bryan with a European uppercut and Cesrao fires back. Bryan with kicks and European uppercuts. Cesaro with a European uppercut. Bryan flips out of the corner but his knee gives out a little. Bryan with a kick to the arm and he applies the LeBell Lock. Cesaro escapes and kicks Bryan in the injured leg. Cesaro with the Giant Swing into a Sharpshooter. Bryan tries to get to the ropes and Cesaro grabs the arm and goes for a crossface but Bryan is able to counter into the LeBell Lock. Cesaro gets to the ropes with his feet.
Bryan works on the shoulder and he kicks Cesaro and puts him on the turnbuckles. Cesaro blocks a Frankensteiner and Cesaro with a superplex. Cesaro gets a near fall. Cesaro with a European uppercut and he sets for the Neutralizer but Bryan with a back body drop. Bryan with a backslide for a near fall. Bryan with a round kick. Bryan charges at Cesaro but Cesaro with a pop up European uppercut followed by a Gotch Style Neutralizer for the three count.
Winner: Cesaro
Kayla Braxton is in the back and she is with Carmella.
Carmella says she said the truth about Sasha Banks. When it comes to natural talent, she cannot touch her. Where is Sasha since I haven't seen her since I pinned her two weeks ago. She is hiding from me . . .
Sasha pushes Carmella down and Sasha tells Reginald that Carmella can get her match if she gets a match with him first.
Big E is relaxing at ringside to watch the match.
Match Number Five: Apollo Crews versus Sami Zayn (with camera crew)
Crews with a drop kick and punch followed by an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Zayn gets to the ropes to force a break. Sami clotheslines Crews over the top rope to the floor in front of Big E and the announce table. Sami tells Crews to get a good look as he punches Crews. Crews avoids being sent into the announce table and Sami is sent into the announce table. Crews with a moonsault off the table. Crews goes up top and Sami stops Crews and sends him to the mat.
Sami with an elbow to the top of the head off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Sami gets more near falls. Sami goes to the turnbuckles and Crews catches Sami and hits a German suplex. Crews blocks a kick and he presses Sami over the head and sends him into the turnbuckles. Crews with an enzuigiri and he goes for a moonsault but Sami gets his knees up and gets a near fall. Sami with a rollup using the tights and the referee stops her count. Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles. Sami goes for a Helluva Kick but Crews stops Zayn with a rollup and a handful of tights for the three count.
Winner: Apollo Crews
After the match, Sami complains about the double standard.
Crews takes the title belt and tosses it back to Big E and he says he will never get it. Big E tells Crews he will never touch it again in his life.
Adam Pearce is in the back and he looks at the contract and then he walks into commercial.
We are back and next week Apollo Crews will face Big E for the Intercontinental Championship. We will also have the Obstacle Course Challenge as 2010 NXT invades Smackdown.
Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso as they survey Roman's cousin from another Maple.
Adam Pearce makes his way to the ring with the contract in arm.
Roman allows Adam to sit at a table. Roman says he does not want the chair Paul is holding, he wants the chair that Roman told Adam to sit in. Jey pulls Adam out of the chair and Roman sits down in his chair.
Roman tells Adam to sign the contract. Adam signs the contract and so does Roman.
Adam says he has waited all night for Roman to do that and then he stands up. Adam leaves the ring and Roman has a confused look on his face.
Adam starts to limp as he gets to the top of the stage. Adam says he has one of those old injuries that creep up on you at the wrong time, like right now. The standard WWE contract say the same thing . . . Card Subject to Change. As a WWE official, I reserve the right because I don't think I will be medically cleared so I will find a suitable replacement.
Adam brings out Kevin Owens.
We go to credits.
