TIME FOR THE MEN TO SHOW WHAT THEY CAN DO IN THE CAGE, NORTH AMERICAN TITLE TIME, GRIMES AND LUMIS GET THEIR STRAP ON, CIAMPA GETS HIS HANDS ON THATCHER, THE WOMEN OPEN UP WAR GAMES INSIDE THE CAGE - FULL NXT WAR GAMES BLOG

Right off the bat, it’s time for….WAR GAMES!

Wade and Vic are here and they are ready for War Games.  We are opening up with the women.  The men get to close the evening.  Vice says the goosebumps are going through his suit.  I get it, it has to be call as hell to get to call this.  The heel team is out first.  Toni Storm, then Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez, and finally Candice LeRae.  Dakota is starting for her team.

Out come the faces.  Ember Moon is out first.  She stared down the three heels, now in their cage.  Rhea Ripley is out next.  She is staring them down too.  Io Shirai is out next.  And finally, Shotzi Blackhart.  She got the biggest pop.  Over like Rover.  And, that was before came out in her new tank!  Cool new ride.  Her team joined her on the tank as they told Dakota going to die.  Kai was on the cage when Shotzi shot her with a round.  Cool stuff.  Wh will start for team Shotzi?  Well the captain wanted to but Ember said she has this and went into the cage.

In the fourth minute Moon dusted Kai into the cage but she got caught before she could do anything.  As the five minutes ended, Kai was in control, which you would expect. Shotzi is in next and she is bring plunder.  She has a tool box and a crowbar.

Kai got Moon down before Shotzi came in and she is doing a good job of fighting against the odds.  Well, until Shotzi hit a missile dropkick off of the top while Kai was on Moon’s shoulders.  Luckily the time ended and in came Raquel. She is a house afire and has taken control.

With Raquel in control and laying everyone out for almost the whole time, in came Rhea Ripley.  The face off was cool between them.

The first bit of plunder was used by Rhea.  It was a  mallet.  Poor Dakota.  Then she took off her belt and abused Dakota.  Once again, it was face-off time between Rhea and Raquel.  They are brawling.  Rhea got the better of it when the clocked hit zero.  Toni Storm grabbed some kendo sticks on the way and took out Rhea.  She also wants to undo one of the turnbuckles.  The heels are in charge here.  Dakota just wasted Rhea by tossing her into the cage.  Plunder is everywhere.  He comes Io Shirai.  She stopped and got a ladder on her way to the ring.  You KNOW she is coming off of the top of the cage at some point, you just know it.  Io went back out for a cane and when she came back in Raquel wasted her.  So Io is looking for more plunder.  She has another ladder.  This thing is filled with weapons.

Io still hasn’t made it in the ring.  She has wasted the five minute advantage, at least most of it.  She almost got in when she kicked a chair into Raquel’s face.  Toni is now using her belt to keep the door shut.  Io tried to climb up the cage to get in but Dakota kicked her off.  And here comes Candice.  Io faced off with her but Indi Hartwell attacker her from behind.  Candice is in now.  Indi has locked the door with a chain.  She stick the key in her bra and said come get it to the refs.  Too funny.  The heels are killing the faces and the match doesn’t start until Io gets in.  She will probably be doing that by flying off of the top into the ring.

Candice went to pin Shotzi but was told the matches doesn’t start until Io gets in.  She wasn’t happy.  And on cue, up on top of the cage there is Io, she has a trashcan.  She put it over his body and wiped everyone out by jumping from the top.  There is a This Is Awesome chant.  I agree.  Now, the match starts and the champ is using the sledgehammer.

It’s all action, fans are chanting NXT.  I’s fantastic.  Io with a moonsault on Raquel but they broke it up.  Candice has Ember in the Escape, with a wrench, but she saw Storm was in trouble and broke up that pin instead.

Kai did a stomp from the top, crushing Io in a trashcan.  She stuck it around her so badly it took too long to get her out to go for the pin.  This is great.  They are abusing each other.  Much respect.

I think Ember killed Kai.  Eclipse from the top onto two chair.  OUCH.  Storm made the save.  She hit a Storm Zero on a trash can but Io made the save.

Shotzi is on the top of the ladder and did a senton on her, but Candice pulled in a chair.  They both got creamed by that.

Toni saved Kai from being taken out.  Someone needs to save the champ.  Too late, Raquel caught her while she was straddling the two second turnbuckles and did a one armed power bomb on her though the table that was perched on a chair in each ring.  DAMN.  Heel team wins.

That was fantastic.

This Wednesday team sports are over.  Finn Balor says he will be back and all eyes will be on the Prince.

They showed the UE arriving.  They are ready.  Pat Mac and the Kings showed up and they are ready as well.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Timothy Thatcher is next.
