IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THIS SHOW YOU SHOULD RATHER THAN JUST READ MY BLOG, KYLE GETS HIS SHOT AT FINN, WE GOT TWO RETURNS, WILL JOHNNY HELP HIS WIFE, SWERVE IS ON FIRE, HALLOWEEN HAVOC RETURN, KUSHIDA IS NOT HAPPY WITH THE DREAM, PRIEST DEFENDS, FIRST LOOK INSIDE THE CAPITOL WRESTLING CENTER - ONGOING NXT TAKEOVER BLOG

I have been really looking forward to this.  The build has been fun and Kyle can go.  He is in the back with the UE.  They are sending him out to battle and said get it done.  Here he comes.

Kyle is out in the ring by himself.  Will the UE stay out of it?  Will Bobby and Roddy come out and Cole make the save?  Or turn on Kyle?  We shall see!

The fans chanted This is Awesome before the match.  They are staring each other down.  They are starting really slow.

Finn is in control working over Kyle’s arm.  It makes sense since he is the single and Kyle is moving into that realm.

And now, Kyle is back.  The dude is so good.  SOOOOO good.  Time for the world to see it.  But then the champ took control again.  As I said, it makes sense.  Kyle is ascending t a new place and it makes sense there is a learning curve.

Finn is schooling Kyle but he is hanging in there and taking it.  They are going to go a while so I am sure he will come back.  Hey, he just hit a hip toss.  Small steps to get back in it.  And believe me, they are small steps because Finn keeps coming back. Kyle has blood in his mouth.  It's pretty stiff so I get it.

This match is like Ring Of Honor at its finest, and that is a huge compliment.  These guys, as Eps just said to me, “is beautiful Pro Wrestling”.

Kyle has taken enough and now is coming back.  I have no idea how to describe what he is doing to Finn right now but damn, he is a technician.

Sorry I am not saying too much but this is so, so good.  It’s not about moves or spots or any of that, it’s about two experts showing me what a great pro wrestling match is.  The moves are only part of it.  The science is a bigger part.  It’s glorious.  Honestly, if you aren’t watching you should stop reading me and turn it on.

After about 30 minutes of a war, Finn put Kyle down on the mat and hit a NASTY Coup de Grace to retain the Title.  After the match and a long time for both men to get themselves together, Finn offered Kyle his hand and Kyle took it.  As they were showing respect, and Kyle raised Finn’s hand, Ridge Holland showed up with Adam Cole on his shoulders, clearly beaten up.  He looked at them and dumped Cole over the barricade.  Kyle came odd and Roddy and Fish came out as well.  The UE asked Finn what happened.  And they went off the air.  

Eps and I talked about it a lot yesterday but NXT is back firing on all cylinders.  This show was fantastic and I can’t wait until Wednesday to see where all of this goes.  Ridge Holland has the IT factor and it’s pretty clear the braintrust at NXT knew that before I did.  Things will get really fun from here.
