Swerve was in control early, hitting tons of moves and spots.  Then he bent Santos’ arm over turnbuckle.  Ouch.  The match was all Swerve at the start.  But the champ came back and did a dive that drove Swerve into the chain link fence that covers the Plexiglass.

On a side note, some of the people in the crowd aren’t always wearing their masks.  That has to stop.  Sunday Night Football has their TV crew wearing masks due to a ruling by the county.  It’s not that hard.  Geez.Wade just said that Santos knocked the stuffing out of Swerve.  I popped.  How British!  Santos is on fire now.  He’s really good.

Swerve is back and it’s now hitting the fan.  Swerve with two big kicks, knocking Santos to the floor.  Back in the ring, two count on a Rolling Flatliner.  Swerve got a two on a tornado DDT from the top rope.  Swerve is giving it all he has.  But out came Santos’ henchman.  They distracted Swerve, but SWERVE, he still kicked out at two.  They went up to the top and and Swerve did a ran from the top that threw Santos on his boys.  Ashante Thee Adonis made the save and they ran off the henchmen.

Swerve ran back in and ate a Phantom Driver, but Swerve kicked out at two.  He is showing heart.  He took the Three Amigos and Santos went to the top.  He tried for a Frog Slash but Swerve moved and he crashed and burned.  Swerve snapped the left arm.  He kind of hit a kick to the head.  450, two count only!  The crowd noise is great here.  It feels like the old days, it’s great.  There is a This Is Awesome chant, right on cue.  It’s great stuff.

They were fighting on the apron and Swerve fell back and came close to hitting his head on the exposed steel on the post.  Santos hit double arm undertook face buster for the win.  Great stuff!

Candice LaRae gets her shot at Io Shirai next.  Will he husband get involved?  We shall see.

Candice is out first, followed by the champ.  Io is messing with Candice’s mind early but she came back and took the champ down on the floor.  But then Io did an Asai moonsault to the floor and took control when they went back in the ring.  Candice came back with a backstabber and got a near fall.  She is in charge right now.Candice has been in control and is getting a little ticked that she can’t grab the pin.

Io is back.  She hit a 619 and a springboard missile dropkick for a two.  They are heating up now, bringing out the big moves.  Io just barely kicked out of a pretty Asai.  Candice managed to lock on the Gargano Escape but Io got the ropes.  Candice held it as long as possible and when she broke it she hit the official by accident.  Io hit The Air Raid Crash and went up for a moonsault but Candice got the legs up and Io wiped him out.  We don’t have a ref.  Candice had Io pinned but there is no official.  Johnny ran down with a ref shirt on and counted but only got a two.  Candice is crying.  Johnny is trying to get her back into the match. Johnny went and got the belt and said, “It’s hers.”  Then another ref came out and they argued.  Candice use the belt to nail Io but only got a two.  Johnny is selling like the world just blew up.  He’s great.  Candice went up to the top.  Io met her, Spanish Fly. right back up moonsault, 1-2-3.  Io retains.  I thought it was time for a switch here but they disagreed.  It was solid but it just seemed to be missing something to me.  It happens.

After the match, Toni Storm popped up on the Tron, she is back!  There is your return.  Works for me, she’s awesome.

Io watched on the Tron as a person pulled up on a motorcycle.  It’s Ember Moon.  There is another return!  Io smiled at her and she smiled back.  It’s heating up.

Adonis is with McKenzie.  He liked swerve and wanted to help him out.  He doesn’t like Legado but enough of them.  It’s about him now.  It’s 205 from the 215 (that’s Philadelphia for those of you that don’t know).
