We are back with WWE Superstars remembering Road Warrior Animal.
We take a look at the Universal Title Match.
Afa talks about how they did everything together and they were competitive. Rikishi talks about how Roman was close to the chiefs. Afa says it was great watching them grow up. Jimmy says a lot of this came from them fighting each other growing up to be the best. Rikishi felt like he was the big dog. You could see that Roman was a winner. Rikishi says it was like Roman was destined for greatness. Then you had Jey He paide his dues to understand the culture. Jimmy says they will leave it all out on the line at Clash of Champions. Jimmy reminds Roman that he was once a little puppy. RIkishi says Jey will win. Sika says Roman will win. Jimmy says he wants his brother to be the new Universal Champion.
Jey Uso makes his way to the ring.
Jey says this Sunday, it's Clash of Champions. Uce versus Uce. Cuzz versus Cuzz. Family versus Family. Uso versus Reigns for the Universal Championship. We see Roman and Paul watching in the back.
Jey says he has a few questions for his cousin to answer so he will take over the interview from Corey.
Jey says they have been asking him about 'the look' but his back was turned. Jey asks Roman what's up with the look.
Roman and Paul have nothing to say.
Jey says he thought they were better than that. Are you going to smile to my face and frown to my back.
Paul Heyman goes into the hallway and he says we need to get things straight. The entire WWE Universe needs to know what Roman Reigns has to say to his cousin Jey Uso, face to face in the ring. This is where you have it wrong. It is not going to happen when Jey Uso wants it to happen. It will occur at the convenience of your Tribal Chief and Universal Champion. I guarantee that the conversation will happen in the ring, tonight.
Jey says he knew something was up. Uce changed his phone number and Paul is monitoring his mail box. We are manning up at Clash of Champions.
We take a look back at the history between Baron Corbin and Matt Riddle.
Baron Corbin says when you are a king, what you do means something. Baron says he saw Matt's Bro video.
Riddle says Corbin wants to put him through all types of pain but Corbin has anger issues. Matt says Corbin has been trying to make his life miserable. He is looking forward to showing everyone the difference between a stallion and a jackass.
Match Number Three: Matt Riddle versus Baron Corbin
Riddle attacks before the bell rings and the referee pulls him away. The match starts and Riddle with strikes to Corbin and he is sent to the floor. Corbin kicks Riddle when Matt comes back into the ring. Corbin with a punch. Corbin blocks a double wrist lock attempt and Corbin with a slam. Corbin with a knee and punch. Corbin with a punch to the midsection. Corbin with a back elbow for a near fall. Corbin with a hard Irish whip and he slides around the ring post and Riddle avoids the clothesline and hits a Pele Kick. Riddle sends Corbin over the announce table.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Corbin escapes an ankle lock. Riddle with a triangle on Corbin and Corbin with the rarest of one arm power bombs to get out of the hold and get a near fall. Corbin chokes Riddle in the ropes. Corbin with a running punch to the head. Corbin with another punch to the temple. Riddle falls to the mat when Corbin wants to punch Riddle again. Riddle with a ripcord knee and forearm in the corner. Riddle with a running forearm and exploder. Riddle misses a knee and moonsault but hits a back senton and a knee for a near fall. Riddle with elbows and a cravate and abdominal stretch. Riddle with a sleeper and Corbin gets to the ropes.
Riddle kicks the arms but Corbin with Deep Six for a near fall. Riddle comes off the ropes and Corbin with a punch. Riddle avoids End of Days and hits a knee to Corbin. Riddle goes to the turnbuckles for a Floating Bro but he lands on Corbin's knees. Corbin with End of Days for three count.
Winner: Baron Corbin
After the match, Kayla asks Matt if he was disappointed in his performance. Matt says losing sucks but he won't let this setback stop this stallion. He will continue to grind until Smackdown is The Bro Show.
We see more of the mystery woman putting on a lot of jewelry and writing in lipstick on a mirror that she is Untouchable.
Alexa says Lacey calls herself a lady and she is kind of a lady. She is the kind who sends food back at a restaurant and demands to talk to the manager. The only thing that will be sent back when she is done is a tall glass of bitter southern tea.
Match Number Four: Alexa Bliss versus Lacey Evans
They lock up and Lacey backs Alexa into the corner. Alexa with a rollup for a near fall. Lacey with a kick to the midsection. Alexa with a take down and bridge for a near fall. Lacey blocks a kick and takes Alexa to the mat and punches Alexa. Lacey with a biel and Lacey goes into her gear for her 'special tissues' and pats herself off and throws it at Alexa. Lacey with a hesitation bronco buster for a near fall. Lacey with a reverse chin lock. Lacey sends Bliss to the mat. Lacey sends Alexa to the mat again and gets a near fall. Lacey sends Alexa into the turnbuckles. Lacey chokes Alexa in the corner. Lacey hits Alexa in the midsection a few times. Alexa with an arm wringer and she sends Lacey to the mat.
We hear The Fiend laughing and we go to commercial with Alexa having a confused look on her face.
We are back and Lacey punches Alexa. Lacey with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Lacey runs her forearm across the bridge of the nose. Lacey with a rear chin lock. Lacey slams Alexa's face into the mat. Lacey sends Alexa into the turnbuckles. Alexa with an Irish whip. Lacey sends Alexa into the turnbuckles. Lacey sends Alexa to the floor with a slingshot kick and then she gets a near fall. Lacey with more near falls.
Alexa with a kick and Lacey is sent into the turnbuckles. Alexa with clotheslines and a slap followed by a drop kick. Lacey with an arm wringer that sends Alexa into the mat. Lacey sets for the double jump moonsault but misses when Alexa moves. The Fiend's lighting permeates through the building and Alexa transforms into a Blue Ribbon and kicks Lacey. Alexa kicks Lacey in the corner and stands on Lacey's back and stomps on the head while the referee counts.
Winner: Lacey Evans (by disqualification)
After the match, Alexa sends Lacey to the floor and hits Sister Abigail.
The Fiend appears on the TitanTron and wants to be let in.
Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman while Alexa walks to the back, but she stops to stare at Roman Reigns.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Paul Heyman says now is the time . . .
Jey Uso's music interrupts Paul.
Paul hands Roman the mic and steps back. Roman asks Jey if he wants his side of the story. Roman says to be honest, I would give you this title if I could. The truth is, you wouldn't even know what to do with it. You don't understand the accountability and responsibility fo being on top. You don't know the weight and pressure of being the face of WWE. It isn't your fault. You are a twin. You have depended on your brother your entire life. You are not one half the man he is. You are one half of the best tag team of our generation. Our family is proud of you, but our family relies on me being the tribal chief. It ain't you and it won't ever be you.
It will always be me.
Roman drops the mic and walks away.
Jey asks what if you are wrong. Why can't I be the one to provide for the family? Why can't I provide for my wife and my kids. . . your nephews. You have been number one. You have been on top. What do they say when they see me. Which one are you? After Sunday, when they ask me who am I? You are the one who beat Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions for the Universal Championship. That will be me.
Roman walks away.
Jey goes to the back and Roman with a Superman punch and Paul hands Roman the title belt. I don't just feed my kids with this title. I don't just feed your kids with this title. I feed the entire family with this title. You are going to take the ass whopping that comes with this title. You will never take this title and you will never take my place at the top of the table.
We go to credits.
